Seeing as you did not occupy the home, and didn’t contacted us directly we suspect your desire to cancel last minute had to do with a reason that was NOT RELATED to property condition. The thermostat is available within guests control and lowers to 68 degrees, not 71 as you stated. Additionally, we do regular maintenance to the home, including a pest control schedule. The only times there may be a dead bug in the home is when guests leave the doors open, like with any home. Our home is weekly 1-2x per week with a very detailed cleaning team which is reflected in prior reviews. The home was cleaned the day you were scheduled to arrive. When VRBO contacted us regarding the statements you made, within 2hrs same-day we sent our pest control, who verify ZERO EVIDENCE of bugs. We sent our appliance repair person, who verified we have a greatly qualify stove in excellent condition, we proved this proof to VRBO along with the providers Invoice and website. We and VRBO take these issues seriously, if there were any issue we would’ve had it addressed immediately. There were no issues to address. It is unfair to make FALSE accusations of a home you did not occupy. I hope you resolved whatever real issue on your end that prompted you to attempt canceling last minute. If you had contacted us, we would’ve been more than happy to do our part to accommodate. All the best.
