A very well equipped house, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed including cleaning supplies and sundries like salt and pepper. Location was great, just across the street from the beach and a mile from good grocery and other stores. A very solid, basic beach house for a smaller group.

Location location!

We had a wonderful stay with plenty of room for our group. Very clean home, attentive host, a well stocked kitchen, and minutes to the beach! Definitely need to check out Art’s Place while you’re here too. A short walk down the road for some really great burgers. And maybe a mid afternoon Bloody Mary It was a perfect week! Highly recommend renting this house.

Great weekend!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this property. Convenient to everything, right across from the beach with water view. It is pet friendly and our small dogs loved the fenced yard! Would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic time in OBX. This house was perfect. It is such a short walk to the beach. We all loved the big porch, the swing and the gorgeous view. The outdoor shower was great. I kept my shampoo and cleanser there and used it every day. We didn’t do much cooking, but there appeared to be everything one would need. Host’s were terrific. I highly recommend this property

Our family from San Diego so enjoyed this hideaway beach location! We were able to walk to the beach, breakfast, dinner and ice cream! The house was clean and perfectly stocked for all our needs. We will definitely book here next time.

Perfect beach getaway!

The house is adorable and in a fantastic location! It's about a 2-minute walk to the beach and a few restaurants. The porch is incredible and was our favorite part of the house. The kitchen is decently stocked and the bathrooms were spacious and updated. The host was very helpful with any questions we had. We would gladly stay here again.

Great location with beautiful ocean views

We enjoyed our stay in this Outer Banks property. It was a short drive to the Wright Brothers memorial, wild horse tour on Corolla, and various lighthouses. We loved being so close to the beach for morning walks and afternoons reading in the beach chairs that are conveniently provided by this property. All communications were promptly answered. Would recommend this as a great vacation rental!

Wonderful experience!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! The place was clean, comfortable and in an awesome location in Kitty Hawk, just a two-minute walk to the beach or a short drive to great restaurants and shops. John and Nelene were fantastic hosts who were responsive to all of our questions and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we need. I'd definitely recommend staying at their properties to anyone looking for a relaxing cottage experience in the Outer Banks!

Great place!

My sons and I stayed for a few days and loved it! The place was very clean and had a nice view from the front porch. I loved hearing the ocean while relaxing out there. The decor was perfect for a nice beach feel. There was very easy access to the beach (not a straight shot across, but very close). It was also conveniently close to a lot of the shops.The only drawback for me was the outdoor shower. It was very dark (no sunlight filters in, which takes away the joy of being outside while showering) and lots of cobwebs. But this wasn’t enough to ruin our vacation.This was a GREAT place and I highly suggest it!

Girls Getaway

This beach cottage is absolutely charming and perfect for a week of R&R. You can easily walk to the beach and a few different restaurants nearby. When you sit on the balcony you have a perfect view of the ocean. Nelene was wonderful to us and communicated back so quickly when we had questions and were interested in recommendations. I couldn’t recommend more!

Amazing stay

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and we couldn’t have had a better stay. We could watch the ocean while reading books on the deck and hop across to the beach easily. We generally hit the beach three times a day (morning, mid-morning, and evening) and the house’s central location gave us time to explore (we hit the waterpark, miniature golfed, did go karts, surfed the sand dunes and kayaked Alligator river). Our hosts were responsive and kind, but otherwise we stayed out of the way. The house is clean and is exactly what it looks like in the pictures.

Great vacation!

My husband and I along with our adult children (22, 22 and 23) and our family dog Oliver stayed in this wonderful house. The photos do not do it justice….the house was clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is close to the beach access and several local restaurants..including yummy Wink’s ice cream. We had a great week and our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. The check in and check out process was super easy. We plan to go back next year!

Family vacation.

Great house. I’m a great neighborhood/area. Very easy accesible. We had the thermostats break because of how hot it was and the host got it fixed within a few hours. Their response and timeliness of addressing the matter was excellent as it was over 95+ degreess while we stayed there. Would highly recommend. Kitchen had all and every single appliance needed. Location was superb. Hosts were 10/10!

Nice cottage

Some updates in obvious older home. Kitchen is small but adequate. Master bath is extremely small. The livingroom furniture is very comfortable and we loved the coziness. The deck is nice with an oceanview but the beach cannot be seen because of an elevated sandbar blocking the view. The host was wonderful! All & all it was a very pleasant stay.

Location, Location Location. Locate on the Beach Road at MP2, this new vacation property is on the beach road in Kitty Hawk within walking distance to some of the best restaurants on the beach. With the ocean views from every window, new furnishings, and direct ocean access, you cant find anything any better on the beach. We love the quaint feel of the beaches in Kitty Hawk, away from the large crowds, yet close to everything. The covered porch with swing is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail. The large fenced yard is perfect for the kids to play after a day at the beach. We have thought of everything for you so you can enjoy your time on the Outer Banks with no worries.
