Casa frente al mar: esta maravillosa casa frente al mar tiene capacidad para 20 personas y tiene mucho espacio adicional para los huéspedes alrededor de la piscina y para caminar directamente desde la piscina hasta la playa. También le encantarán las opciones al aire libre para la recreación, incluida la gran terraza delantera, el patio trasero con mosquitero y el área de la piscina totalmente equipada. Ah, y ¿mencionamos la fantástica playa a las afueras de la valla de la piscina? Agregar calor a la piscina también es una opción bajo ciertas condiciones climáticas. Puede asar afuera o cocinar adentro con los nuevos electrodomésticos de cocina. Sabemos que disfrutará de su estadía en nuestra casa, y nuestro objetivo es que regrese.

Great location!! Kudos to the cleaning crew, as everything was super clean upon arrival. Accommodating in every way, towels, beach access, kitchen, etc. Perfect multi family separation, and enough room for everyone to have their own space! Not to mention the beach views are spectacular!!

We had a great time with family! The location is awesome especially being right on the beach. The place was nice and well stocked with essentials even including basic spices! We used the beach chairs which were relaxing. Would def go back if we vacation in the area again.

We loved our stay at Second Sunrise! Not only was the home clean, the views were stunning from the house. The weather was not in our favor for the majority of our trip so Janel was kind enough to offer some accommodations to help us enjoy our stay fully. The pool was super fun and we loved the beach access. We really enjoyed the screened porch with views of the beach and the coffee area inside. Such a sweet home that can house a lot of family members! Highly recommend staying here! Janel was very attentive and answered all our questions in a timely manner. She was super friendly and we enjoyed renting from her!

Oceanfront Potential, Disappointed by Maintenance Issues

We were excited to stay in this oceanfront property, but unfortunately the condition of the home did not meet expectations. The location and view were beautiful, but the home itself was quite dilapidated and in need of updates and maintenance. Upon arrival, the cleaning lady was still airing out a mattress, which was not a welcoming first impression. The downstairs had a persistent musty smell that made it uncomfortable to spend time there. Another major disappointment was the pool. The listing’s main photo highlights the pool lit up at night, but during our stay the pool lights did not work and there were no other outdoor lights available to safely use the pool area after dark. This made it unusable in the evenings, which was one of the main reasons we booked this property.

Happy place

Very nice property ocean front! Nicely priced! Easily affordable for a working class family! Well stocked kitchen. Great ocean front area and a pool to die for! Screened in porch was the greatest to relax in. Bedrooms nice. Bathrooms downstairs are a bit awkward but doable! Great week!!

The perfect vacation. That pretty much is all that needs to be said. Ideal location for any water lover. Extremely friendly and responsive host. Everything you could need is on the property or just a few minutes away. Would recommend to anyone.

Spring break

Beautiful location perfect for families with little ones away from the more crowded Myrtle beach but close enough to still drive on over for touristic activities. The pool heater worked perfectly and the description and pictures were accurate.

Fantastic stay!

We had another wonderful stay at Janel‘s home! The pool was the kids favorite, they swam constantly during our week there. She has every possible item you could need during your stay, everything was well stocked, and there was nothing we needed that was not provided in the home. The beach access is fantastic, we spent a lot of time out at the beach. We love the location as it’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach but close enough to get to anywhere we wanted. This is our third time staying in this home and we will definitely be back again next year!

Spring Break Trip

Home was in a great location. Right on the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect access to Myrtle Beach touristy areas and Murrells Inlet. Home was spacious and more than enough room for 9 of us. Screened porch was a bonus living area we used for game night. Pool was a great addition. We had it heated and it was perfect. Any concerns we had were quickly acknowledged and resolved by the owner.

Lovely Beach House

Our family - ages 9 to 83 - stayed for a week in Dec/Jan, and overall was fantastic. Highlights: - Kitchen is very equipped, quality dishware, and loved the labelling on cupboards and drawers. - Back porch overloooking pool and out to the beach is fabulous. Comfortable porch furniture, and screened in. - Easy parking / access (stairs to main floor) - 2 washer / dryer - AWESOME for the big family - all the living room / shared furniture was very comfortable and great condition - beach location was quiet, clean, easy to access and enjoy - quick communication when needed with owner Cons (some folks may not find these as cons, depending on personal preference or needs) - beds are very soft and some mattress' some have clear demarkation of left side / right side sleeper - only thing missing in the kitchen is a kettle - main bedroom showers are small (tight) if you are tall or wide

Beach getaway

This is our third time here and we are already going to book a fourth with them. The house is perfect for everyone including our dogs and it’s in a perfect location. The house is clean and as comfortable as our own house. The owner is great and responses right away. We can’t wait to come back next year

Message to Future Renters

I am writing this review as a caution to any future renters of this property. If you were like me, you relied on these 10/10 reviews to make an informed decision prior to finalizing your booking. Heed caution as the pictures are not what they seem. Upon arrival, you will note a run down, tired looking house with an obvious musty smell. The dishes needed to be washed prior to use, we knew it was a pet friendly home but didn’t expect to find pet hair all over the bedspreads and human hair on the "clean" sheets. Despite this initial disappointment, we didn’t complain until we found a dead cockroach in the basement, a live roach in the living room and I was woken in the middle of the night to a roach running across my chest. Between arrival and our departure 21 hours later, we found and killed no less than 6 roaches in the living area. We asked the homeowner for help (as my child has a diagnosed allergy to cockroaches) and she replied that pest control doesn't work on weekends. She offered an early departure then revoked an offer for a refund when we did not agree on the reimbursement amount. This experience was an absolute nightmare and recouping our losses was far from easy. I caution anyone against renting this home. While I expect a homeowner response to this review (likely sharing inaccurate information about me to distract from the real issue), I wish I could post picture evidence in this submission and allow you to form your own opinion prior to booking this home yourself.

Amazing location!

We absoultely loved the location. The beach was just steps away and was not overcrowded. Plenty of close by resturants, shops, and ammentities for everyone.
