The unit was very nice. Clean and comfortable.The only problem for us came from VRBO, not the owner. VRBO failed to send complete communication to us with access information. In addition, neither my husband nor i could access the entire listing details on VRBO... Some of which were very important (no sheets or towels provided). We traveled 8 hours and had to purchase towels and linens because we had no prior knowledge of this detail. Even after getting home from the trip, we still cannot see all the details on the listing…. There is a glitch somewhere with VRBO…. Not the owner.Yes we would stay here again but wish VRBO’s listing was fully accessible.

Beautiful location on the water with great views. It is a lovely quiet area of the island. You will have to drive into town although it would be an easy ride on a bicycle. The unit was very clean although there was high humidity inside the unit. The dehumidifier was able to keep up appropriately as long as you remember to empty the bucket. Communication with host was extremely easy and very prompt. I enjoyed having the household closing expectations listed in the unit. All of the light switches were labeled and easy to find. There was plenty of space for 4 adults to have their own beds as well as a bunk for a youngster. Overall well laid out and newly updated unit in a lovely location. Nice touches: tv in each room and wireless charger in queen room. Great deck chairs and table on covered porch overlooking the water.

Vacation

My family and I had a great vacation! Perfect location! Close to the beach, restaurants, water park, and other fun activities! The place was clean and the owner is always very responsive! We loved being right on the water with access to the boat dock.

The property was clean, modern and sufficiently stocked for the cooking we needed to do. Pictures were accurate and current. Host was easily reachable, although we had zero issues.

Beautiful sunset views

Great location on the water with view of light house and horses. Kayaking nearby. House was clean with sufficient amenities. Check in and check-out was easy. A very relaxing stay!

Great place to stay during the off season

The property is near the state park, and the ponies made several appearances for photo ops. The beach was chilly but great for walking. Restaurants can be tricky to find at the beginning of the week until they open full-time for the summer. Overall, it was a relaxing and quiet place to stay.

Quiet/clean

My overall experience was decent. I did contact the owner concerning the mini split unit in the main/master bedroom not working properly. Fortunately, he was in town working on another unit in the complex so he came to our unit to rectify the problem. Unfortunately, the mini split was not blowing as it should have been. The other bedroom was blowing very well when we turned up the fan to put out more heat. The owner was insisting that the unit in the master was fine. Although, my friend and I were in disagreement with him, since it wasn’t blowing heat when turned up. The room did get warm enough after a couple hours. Other than that, our experience was acceptable.

beds were horrible!! Cute place

The beds were absolutely the worst ! No mention that you entered through one of the bedrooms to get into the unit! The beds were the biggest issue! The dock was Awesome!

Perfect place to recharge

From reservation to checkout, this was hands down the best vacation experience ever. The unit is clean and comfortable. Although we didn't do much cooking, the kitchen is very well stocked and equipped. The views were amazing. Can't wait for our next trip back!

Great Trip

We had a great time fishing & crabbing at the dock. So nice being able to have your boat footsteps away from the condo! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked. Great views and we even saw a lot of Dolphin. Hope to return!

Little oasis

What a nice location. Especially sitting out back overlooking the water. We saw horses, jellyfish, bald eagles, and the usual seagulls and cormorants. We fished off the pier and caught a croaker. Others were catching crabs. We would come back here again.

Family Vacation

My family and I had a great stay! The place was very clean and perfect location! We loved being right on the water where my husband could dock his boat and my husband and kids were able to fish and crab right off the dock. This was our first time visiting Chincoteague and we definitely plan to come back! All of the neighbors were very friendly too! Any time I had a question, Steve always got right back to me!

Peaceful Days

Beautiful views from the condo every day … sunrise to sunset!! Enjoyed watching the neighbors boats go out and come back in with crabs and fish. Explored most of the Island and Assategue as well. We did lots of hiking, learned the history of the area and of course went on a boat tour. Nothing was far from the condo which was nice. Enjoyed being able to cook at home or bring home fresh cooked crabs to eat out on the picnic table! Lovely and comfortable well equipped condo! Thanks, Steve! Would love to return!!

Water Views

We had a great stay! The condos location was perfect for us. We were looking for something with great water views and we got exactly that. The condo was cute and had everything we needed. The living room had nice furniture and the bed in the main bedroom was comfortable. It was also very quiet and there wasnt many other people staying in the building when we were there. For March we had great weather and had fun exploring the island. We did see many horses from the back patio with the binoculars. It was a great trip and look forward to coming back sometime in the near future.
