I love this property. I have stayed here before only in the other side as I had more people with me last time, so I can tell you that both places are adorable, very clean and cozy. Just a few minutes' walk to my favorite beach which is Manatee beach. I actually live about 1 1/2 hours from the beach, and me and my husband decided that we will be a regular renter of this property at least a couple times a year just so we can get away for a few days. It will be our home away from home.

Checked in on Saturday everything was as described. Size perfect for me and my husband. Layout of unit slightly odd as the bathroom comes off the kitchen area instead of bedroom. But not a big deal. Air conditioning nice and cold, appliances were up to date. King size bed clean and comfortable. Unit very close to the beach, and easy access.

Beautiful stay

The unit was exactly as advertised. Super clean . Very short walk to the beach. Great location to everything north and south of the island . We would definitely stay here again !!!

Great base on AMI

Despite some pretty poor and unlucky weather, we enjoyed our stay here at the apartment, especially morning coffee and evening drinks sat out on the porch. It could have been a result of a number of overcast days but the apartment was slightly darker than I had thought, it was a shame the window shutter wouldnt open up or stay fixed at an open angle to let more light in.Also dont bother buying beach umbrellas or beach chairs as there as plenty in the downstairs laundry room, as we only noticed afterwards purchasing from the local Publix, which is a lovely 3 minute stroll away.

Really good location

We loved our stay here. The location was really convenient, just a short walk to the closest beach, we avoided having to find parking and pay for it, which seems dificult to find and expensive. The closest area of the beach was not a busy as other areas which was great. The appartment is located in the middle section of the island so anything is within 10-15 min ride. Grosery shipping and pharmacy are just a few min away. The apartment was as advertised, very spacious and with a lot of light, we had a great time despite all the rain.

Suggestions

Mat out side needs to be replaced. Slippery and a friend slipped and almost fell.Floor looked clean but was dirty. Maybe needs to be updated. We loved the place and close walk to beach, stores and restaurants.

I lived in St. Pete, Parrish and Fort Meyers's Wanted to show my partner the beauty of the place We enjoyed the property immensely: clean, beachy and comfortable. Sadly the management company detracted from a perfect stay: one roll of toilet paper, worn out towels, no beach chairs, no coffee (get a Kerig at least) empty tissue box and despite our response to your inquiry about check out time, cleaning service entered at 8:15 am Website is good Just a miss on making us feel cared for

Great condo at a nice location for a couple that wants a few days of beach time.

It has everything that you need for a couple's relaxing beach vacation. The only negative that I found would be a few flying termites that wander into the bedroom from time to time (I do not know where they came from). If you get rid of them, they tend to stay away for a while but eventually, a few more come back attracted by the lights. Beach access is superb, and they provide all the needed beach accessories. A/C works great. It is clean, nicely decorated, and freshly painted inside.

Dirty condo shack

Floors were filthy. Bathroom smelled like urine. Toilet paper was awful. Paper towels were too tiny. Not enough towels. Not enough pillows. Chairs on patio very uncomfortable.

Great couples place!

Quiet from neighbors and street traffic, but only a block or two from everything you need. Really liked the layout of the unit with bedroom up off of the living area. Great shower and bathroom. New Full size appliances!! Had to get used to couch and layout of living area with TV, but there is no other way to set up, so it was just fine. Loved the French doors out to the deck… the deck is AWSOME, probably 20’ x 8’ totally covered and open, no screens, so there was always a breeze and in the shade. The only reason I didn’t give an overall 5star was the mattress on the bed. It was not too comfortable with the metal springs you can feel and hear with every move, exchange for a new hybrid and you will get 5stars every time !!

Great place for us

This property is lovely. You can tell there was a lot of care taken with the update. The kitchen had everything we needed - we did not really "cook". Mostly grabbed breakfast and ate out a lot, but being able to make coffee and toast in the morning was perfect. The king sized bed was comfortable and the bathroom/shower were great. Having beach chairs available was a bonus - also access to a shared washer and dryer. The only somewhat odd thing was that the bathroom was not right off the bedroom. You had to walk through the living area to get there. This really wasn't a problem because it was just the two of us staying there. The outside balcony was wonderful for sipping coffee in the morning or wine in the afternoon. We had a great time!

Nice for a couple

I would recommend this apartment for a couple that has no problem navigating 13 stairs to reach it. I cannot imagine more than two people staying here so leave the kids at grandma's. The primary selling point to this property is its location...just a one block walk to the beach which is terrific. It's also in the middle of a lot of things...about a three block walk to the Publix supermarket (we went there a lot) and Dunkin Donuts along with other shopping and restaurants. Skinny's Hamburgers is a half block walk almost right behind it. We stayed on the island last year at a different rental and I prefer this location to that one. If I were to offer any suggestions to the owner it would be that the love seat is inadequate seating. Maybe it's the only thing that would work but I would remove the two small tables at either end put a full-size couch there. Just me. I also found the lack of water pressure at the bathroom vanity and refrigerator an annoyance but did not call the property manager because I didn't want a plumber in there while we stayed. The water pressure at the shower and the kitchen sink were both good, so I don't know what the problem really is. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and I am reflecting that in the star ratings above.

Not a "fully stocked kitchen"

We had gone to the grocery store so that we wouldn't have to eat out for every meal. There was not a single pan. They had a couple of pots but we were hoping to make eggs and french toast. I ended up having to cook them on on a cookie sheet on the stove top like a griddle. Not easy! And then I discovered there are no pot holders either so I had to use a hand towel as a pot holder. It was extremely inconvenient. We also had a big problem the first night. We were heading to bed and I turned the lamp on that was next to the bed. All of a sudden there were theses little flying bugs EVERYWHERE in the room. My husband spent a good 20-30 mins killing them. We took the lamp outside bc they seemed to be coming from that somehow. We were able to get to sleep and there were no more bugs the rest of the trip but it was so gross and unsettling for the first night. And if I'm going to be nitpicky....the sheets are a little rough and we couldn't get the TV in the bedroom to work. If it weren't for the kitchen and the bugs I would have gladly given this house 5 stars. Great location and over all a nice/clean house.

We loved the apartment

I missed that the apartment was upstairs or if possible it should be communicated better as we were trying to get into the laundry room. My only other suggestion is that a broom is provided to sweep up sand renters bring in.
