Casa de esquí familiar en Chimney Hill, Mount Snow

Ubicada en el hermoso vecindario de Chimney Hill, nuestra casa está a solo una corta distancia en automóvil de Mount Snow (aproximadamente 10 minutos).

Nuestra casa es un nivel dividido con la sala de estar por encima de las habitaciones. Arriba, encontrará una gran cocina, comedor, sala de estar, con un altillo que tiene una cama doble. La estufa de leña está revestida de ladrillo y está ubicada en el centro de este espacio habitable.

El primer baño se encuentra en el nivel de entrada y contiene una nueva unidad de lavadora / secadora de gran capacidad.

En la planta baja, encontrará un baño (con bañera completa) y 3 dormitorios. Dos de las habitaciones tienen camas tamaño queen y la tercera tiene una litera con una cama nido.

La sala de estar tiene un televisor con un palo de fuego de Amazon que tiene acceso a Netflix y Amazon Prime, así como un reproductor de DVD (con una selección de películas).

We loved our stay! The house was lovely and very well stocked for our trip. It was exactly as described and the clubhouse was so much fun for the kids. Emil was a great host, he was very responsive and able to help us out with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this house for families for short or long stays!

We had a wonderful stay at this property!! I would like to give it 100 stars. The house was immaculately clean and well stocked. It is also more spacious than it looks in the pictures. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the backyard as well. Having access to the clubhouse with its 2 pools and hot tub was fantastic!! The home’s location is a definite plus as it is near downtown Wilmington in a nice quiet neighborhood. Emil was the perfect host and easily accessible when we had questions. I highly recommend this property and hope to return!!

Perfect Vermont Location

This house is perfect for a getaway to Vermont. The location is excellent for access to Mount Snow which is about 15 minutes away. The house is super cozy with a perfect layout for a small gathering. We visited as two families with 4 kids under 9 and the bedrooms and living space were perfect for our group. Kitchen was excellent and the fireplace and TV were the perfect end to a day on the slopes. I encourage anyone to book this property if you are looking to stay in the area.

Peaceful Retreat.

We stayed a month at this charming home. Emil, the host, was very easy to work with and whenever we had a question he got back to us immediately. The kitchen was well stocked with all types of pots and pans, etc. The home is 5 minutes from downtown Wilmington which has some wonderful restaurants and bars. Also, Starfire Bakery is off the charts fabulous.

Will Stay Again

We totally enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, clean and well-appointed home. It was perfect for our group of 6. There is plenty of living/dining space with a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely deck for grilling and enjoying the serenity of the surrounding woods. We also enjoyed the pool and clubhouse amenities. This home is in a great location, close to town, lakes and restaurants. You can’t go wrong staying here. Communications with the host, Emil, was great. We hope to be able to stay again next year.

Ski chalet in the forest

We stayed in this large chalet in Chimney Hill in Wilmington Vermont for a month from August 15 to September 15, 2023. The home was well appointed with everything included enabling us to thoroughly enjoy our stay. The lighting in this home was amazing. Kitchen included a commercial waffle iron that we loved! The home could easily sleep a large group or family. Very comfortable queen beds, bunk beds, twin and sofas, recliner, large dining table were all included. The host responded to our questions promptly and was very courteous and helpful. Amenities included tennis, pools and grocery shopping only 10 minutes away. There are so many nice touches, live plants, Netflix, high end washer and dryer. We will be back!

Peaceful Getaway

This is my second stay at this property. We vacationed here over the winter and now this summer. The house is ideally situated, only ten minutes to Mount Snow and the same distance to Harriman Reservoir which we found out has access to just about every type of water sport. My husband and I get to work remotely from time to time. Initially, we were concerned about internet connectivity. I was assured by the owner Emil that he recently installed high speed internet with suffice and it did. Our dog got to play in the fenced in yard with no concern of her getting out. Barbecuing on the second floor rear deck was convenient considering the kitchen is only steps away. I highly suggest checking out the clubhouse. They have an outdoor pool in the summer and a heated indoor pool and hot tub when we go in the winter. Emil was always available if needed. We are looking forward to coming back to this home in the winter!

The Price Is Right

Upon arrival, we were so pleased at how much nicer the home was versus the photos on the VRBO site. Our vision for what a Vermont cabin in the woods would look like was satisfied immediately when we walked in. Location, location, location! For the price of this cabin, with it being centrally located to everything and anything we wanted to do, made our stay that much better. The WiFi, we were informed, was upgraded to high speed, which made it easier for my wife and I to get some work done remotely. Our only issue we encountered was that the hot water was temporarily not working. We called Emil who immediately picked up his phone and instructed us how to reset the hot water device. It seems there was a power outage while we were out which caused the issue. Another plus was that we were able to book this property months in advance which gave us peace of mind. Knowing that our next stay here is already locked in is priceless! Looking forward to returning!

We wanted to experience autumn in Vermont and this rental was exactly what we wanted. The house was great. It had everything needed to make us feel at home. Would definitely recommend.

Great 2-month stay!

I stayed at Emil's property for two months while transitioning to Vermont. The house has everything you'll need for your stay, short or long! I was there for Sept and Oct and would recommend visiting during the fall to watch the leaves change...and on cool nights light a fire and relax.

Another wonderful stay!

Once again, a wonderful experience vacationing in Wilmington VT. We walked into a prestine and clean environment as expected seeing as we've stayed at Emil's cabin 3 times prior to this stay. With the amenities of a hotel yet a very cozy feel to it, this home never disappoints. My family and I try to go at least once a year. Winter, fall, spring, or summer, this location is perfect. My 14 yr old daughter and 16 yr old son always have the best time. From having breakfast at Dot’s diner, to exploring Harriman Reservoir, zip lining, horseback riding or skiing, we never run out of things to do. The best part is that everything is such a quick drive to get to! Also the cooperative club house in Chimney Hill has an outdoor pool and sundeck (spring / summer) and an indoor heated pool and hot tub (year round) game room and gym. The kids are always on the go! I’ve never seen my children sleep so sound! While they keep busy, I’m even able to get some work done remotely so I can stay up to date with work emails, zoom meetings etc. I highly recommend this property; whether you’re looking for a relaxing couples getaway or a fun filled adventure with friends and/or family, this is the place to go! Emil, thank you for always being so responsive and for the upkeep of the house to ensure every guest has the best possible stay. We’ll be back.

Chimney Hill Vrbo Experience

Nice location quiet with deck in peaceful wooded setting. Upstairs of house very nice, fully equipped kitchen which was great for us as we were 4 ) 2 adults and 2 teens) eating most meals in. Bedrooms are Downstairs considerably cooler which was nice as it was quiet muggy our first week. However simple and small rooms, not as nice as upstairs but fine for our needs. I would suggest using a dehumidifier for lower level on hot summer days. Nice location 10 minutes from Wilmington which is a very pretty town. Locals very friendly and helpful definitely a nice escape from Boston area. Lots of great trails near Chimney Hill and Wilmington. Long walks every morning with our happy dog! Plenty of restaurants and bars, 30 minutes to Bennington and around 45 to Brattleboro. Great for kids and adults and kids looking for relaxing get away, not necessarily for teens unless they enjoy hiking…

A very pleasant stay

This is our second time at Emil's house. We really enjoyed staying again. We would recommend it to anyone. You'll find everything you need in the house and the location is great. Emil is always fast to respond. We would definitely come back :)

3rd time and still charming

From the moment I booked my stay here, and this was not my first stay at this beautiful home, Emil (host) was in contact with us shortly after our booking. He sent a very friendly and welcoming message. His communication throughout my stay was impressive; making sure we were ok and happy with our accommodations. The home was spotless upon arrival. The rooms were so comfortable and common areas were top notch. I remember the first time I stayed at this house, I was personally happy to find COFFEE along with other teas, snacks etc!!!!! I had to work remotely for some of my stay as I have in the past, and I was surprised at how strong the internet was considering our location. To say we had a very home-like experience would be an understatement. The only complaint we could come up with was driving at night from a lit city to dark roads, which was quite an adventure! But who doesn't love an adventure?! Thank you Emil once again for an amazing experience. We will definitely return!!!!

Very pleased with the house

The house was perfect for our group of 6. It was very clean, nicely furnished, a well stocked kitchen, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. Although there was an unusual amount of rain for July, keeping us indoors, there was plenty of space for everyone. We also appreciate how easy it was to work with the owner who was always available. Hope to get back next summer!

Perfect place for us

We have nothing but good things to say about our experience. The house was very clean, comfortable and well furnished. The owner thought about every detail to make our stay the best. He left tennis balls and rackets for us to play at the court right next door, left a great amount of different basic need items (spices, sugar, soaps, sponges, ziploc bags etc..). There are multiple board games, a room that opens up to an enclosed yard and the best hiking just nearby. Wilmington is a charming little town definitely worth visiting with a convenient supermarket. As you may guess, the owner is a gracious, reliable and friendly person. We all had a great time. We felt so lucky we found this place.

Exceptional Property

This is the best VRBO house I have rented. Emil was accessible for questions and bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay great. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked for cooking. The location is close to Wilmington (5 min) for shopping and restaurants but also close to Mt. Snow (10-25 min), which made house perfect for our ski weekend. We look forward to staying here again!

Perfect mountain getaway

This home did not disappoint. We came for a quick ski trip with another family. The house was clean and fully stocked. Emil was super responsive. The home is in the chimney hill community so after getting several inches of snow and being nervous about making it back after an amazing day at Mt. Snow, the roads were plowed and sanded. All in all great trip and we hope to book again!

Month stay in Wilmington

My partner and I stayed at Emil's home for a month while working remotely. Emil was an exceptionally gracious, communicative host and was easily reached by text or call. The home is very clean and comfortable for an extended stay and has a fully outfitted kitchen. We spent the holidays there and were thrilled to find all the pans, cookware, etc. we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner. The home itself is very cozy with a wood-burning stove and lots of windows looking out to tree-lined views. The area is beautiful and it's a five minute drive to Wilmington's very charming Main Street. A helpful note for those entering Vermont and needing to quarantine—the home is within the Instacart delivery range from the Shaw's in town, so you can easily quarantine and have groceries delivered directly to your door. We had a wonderful stay!
