The house was dirty. Carpet and laminate hadn't been swept and carpet had food on it. There were no gutters by walkway. The front door knob was extremely loose. There was mold on shower stalls. It was so hot in bathrooms since no AC. Curtain were bent and no shades. AC vents filthy. Stove vent was missing screen and had caked dust. Very difficult to cook under. Couple of skillets completely unusable. Only good part was good location to beach and restaurants. Owner should be ashamed to rent such a house.

Great little spot, close to the beach.

Second year staying here. Very short walk to The Hangout and much more. Met the owners on our last night. Great folks! Would highly recommend it to anyone.

The property only had window units in both bedrooms and the living room, they had them set on 75 when we arrived. The welcome binder is outdated, no wristbands and no dishwasher…. The towels weren’t clean as they had hair in them from someone else.. there was mold in the showers.. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you wanna be hot your entire stay.

Great Location!

This stay was great! We did have issues with our code when we got there but it was resolved shortly. Everything was clean. A perfect walk to restraunts, the beach, and putt putt.

Update Needed!

This property was not in good shape at all! The toilet seat was hanging on by one hinge, the couch was broken, the two seats provided were like concrete blocks, and we had nowhere to relax and watch movies or play a game. There is no fenced in backyard as pictured and no gas grill as pictured. The food we brought to grill was of no use. There was a large stain on the carpet and the kitchen cabinets were in disrepair. It could be a cute property, but it really needs some work! The patio furniture was full of stains a (Disgusting!)and the tables were broken and full of holes so you couldn't use them. I called VRBO and they told me to contact Lucky Bird - I contacted Lucky Bird, but they never returned my communication. I was sold something I didn't get. Very disappointed!

Great Location

The location was great. The amenities were not what we expected. There was 1 bath towel per person for us to use for a 4 day stay. Make sure to bring you own. There is no dishwasher and you'll need to bring your own dish soap. The air conditioning is window units. The pictures showed a gas grill but there wasn't one. The pictures showed a fence in the back yard but there wasn't one so beware of that if you have pets.

Perfect place for A escape getaway

This cute bungalow was the perfect place for my vacation. It had everything we needed and we couldn't have asked for more. The house itself was well designed, comfortable, and just perfect. Had a real spacious porch that was great to relax on with really nice chairs. You can even see the beach from it! What really made this place exceptional, is the perfect location. It is only a short easy 2 minute walk from the public access beach! Tons of restaurants within short walking distance. Highly recommend the hangout, picnic beach, and the Sunliner diner. I stayed for 16 days. And it was just a dream. Highly recommend. And I will definitely be coming back as soon as I can.

Good Getaway

Everything was okay except for the washer machine wouldn’t work, sent a text message to the maintenance guy and he said to check some things, I did still didn’t work said he will let the staff know, the washer started working over night, the repair guy came the day before we were leaving said he just got the call. Overall the stay was good

There were some issues but they were all addressed in a timely fashion. Some were avoidable which makes them frustrating but they were all resolved satisfactorily. This isn’t a five star hotel but it worked well for our visit.

Not as clean as the pictures make it seem

We chose this property for our 1st family vacation, me, my husband & 2 boys ages 1.5 & 5 yrs. The clean, homey feeling that I got when looking at the vrbo listing, fenced in back yard, & location of the property made my decision to rent this property an easy one. Once in the house, we immediately noticed that it was not clean. Various things were not done to quality, just fixed up enough to appear as such. The laminate flooring did not touch the wall in some places, a rug was placed over it. Mold on the ceilings in the bathroom, dirty finger prints all over doors & cabinets. A couch pillow had stains. There was an overall dirty musty smell. It does have 4 window AC units (2 in the living room, one not working). My husband cleaned the filters which were completely caked with dust/dirt. The fenced in yard (again a huge reason for choosing this place) was overgrown. A bush had made it's way into the stairs partially blocking the path down to the yard. Ice maker did not work, husband connected a hose & we had ice for our stay. I reached out to Lucky Bird with the understanding things happen but wanted to make them aware. They gave excuses for why the things were the way they were but did not address the mold, said they would be sure to take care of the issues & thanked me for the feedback. A little while later I started looking back at past reviews for the property. All of the issues we experienced have been mentioned to the host in reviews as far back as 2020. The host replies to any reviews mentioning issues saying that they have been resolved. I reached back out to Lucky Bird, this time saying that I didn't feel that it was acceptable that these issues have been brought to their attention YEARS ago. I mentioned that I was charged $150 for a cleaning fee but if this was my home I would not accept the poor quality cleaning service. I wiped down the doors & cabinets & it took no effort which leads me to believe it simply hasn't been attempted for some time. I stated that I would be giving a review & that I truly wish it was a more positive one but I will do all that I can to help prevent future guests from having the same experience as we did (& aparently many other pasts guests). Again, was given excuses, the blame was put on the home owner. I am completely disappointed with the quality of service from Lucky Bird. Osage Beach was amazing and we will return but unfortunately will not return to a Lucky Bird property.

Nice place

Great little house. Perfect location to beach and resturants. I wish there would have been a broom and dust pan available on top of the vacuum that was provided. Hanging lights in bedroom did not work. Ice maker leaked into fridge. Had no hot water for 1.5 days. Other than these little bumps we had no problems and enjoyed our stay.

Weekend stay 4/22-4/24

Enjoyed the beach house. Clean, well prepared, and excellent view. Very convenient to everything. Only thing I'd change is maybe upgrading the mattresses. Very hard and uncomfortable but still enjoyed our stay. Thanks again. See you next time!

Beach cottage

Not a great choice for two couples. Bedroom one was roomy clean and comfy shower was tight. Bedroom two was cramped, bed was very uncomfortable and hall bath shower was too small for adults. Cleanliness and amenities were lacking. No beach towels or cooler to take to the beach not ideal if you are flying in and can't pack your own. Location was excellent. One block walk straight to beach. Lots of restaraunts within walking. Quick drive to Orange beach.
