anniversary trip

The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable; the view was better than advertised. The property and even the pool were quiet and not overcrowded, although we spent most of the time sitting on the balcony people-watching and marveling at the beauty of the water. It was the perfect place for a much-needed trip to recharge and to celebrate our 25th anniversary.

We have stayed at several other units and it is the same in all of them. Nothing beats the view and the fact that it is dog friendly!

Family Trip

Check in and staff were super friendly. Condo was not super clean, but was tolerable. The condo is a hotel room and small and the bathroom is super tiny as well. Great location, pool is nice, the bed needs replacing sunk into the middle. Under the pull out couch was dirty. Overall not bad, but I wasn’t sure how this had a 9 something review. I would give it a solid 8.

Condo was smaller than expected and pretty noisy from the air conditioner units.

The condo itself was very noisy from the AC unit in the living room area and the bedroom had another separate unit that was really loud when it wound turn on. Very small bedroom could barely get around the queen size bed. The furniture in the living room was old and worn and the living area was small. Also, there was no dishwasher. Other than that, it was just ok. When we stayed the power went out on the whole block for a few hours in the morning. Came back on around 9:30am. Nice beach but there is a bit of a walk to get to it and some stairs to get to it.

During Hurricane Debbie there weren't very many channels to watch. Please go back to what you had previously. Still love this unit and will probably rent again next summer.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the condo I stayed in. It was very clean, nicely decorated with a beautiful view of the ocean. You would never know dogs stayed there. The staff was exceptional: helpful, friendly and quick to respond. I had some issues with the tv and they were quicky addressed. The only advice I would have if you are bringing a dog is to possibly give up the ocean view to stay on the first floor. Going up and down in the elevator with a dog several times a day was a hassle. Other than that my vacatio was amazing.

The housekeepers were very accommodating and would let us switch out our towels and bed linens when we wanted . The bathtub drain was slow and the exhaust fan didn’t work but wasn’t a big problem. The unit had everything needed for an extended stay. The balcony view was unbeatable and the other people staying there were like longtime friends. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always very courteous. We have recommended Beacher’s Lodge to several friends.
