¡Una propiedad verdaderamente única que se encuentra justo al lado del hermoso Cottonwood Creek y está cerca del Cottonwood Pass, el río Arkansas y muchas más aventuras al aire libre!

Esta cabaña Homey Creekside tiene pisos de madera, sala de estar con 2 sillones reclinables de cuero y un sofá seccional, TV de pantalla plana de 47 "con sonido envolvente, TV satelital Dish, reproductor de DVD e Internet de alta velocidad, mesa de comedor con capacidad para 6 personas cómodamente . Cocina eficiente totalmente equipada con hermoso fregadero de cobre, electrodomésticos nuevos de acero inoxidable, estufa / horno de gas natural, dormitorio principal que da a las montañas y al arroyo, el segundo dormitorio es muy espacioso y ofrece una cómoda cama nido.

Después de un largo día de aventura, es hora de servir una copa de vino y relajarse en la terraza trasera con vistas a Cottonwood Creek, donde es probable que veas ciervos locales pasando mientras las aves te dan una serenata.

What a lovely home. The creek sounds were classic CO. So peaceful. Location very close to Main St. would absolutely stay here again.

Second time staying at this home. I would definitely stay there again. Deck with the creek is awesome. House is close to town and all outdoor activities. Owners are great to work with.

We really LOVED staying here. The sound of the creek was a wonderful, soothing plus. The house was well-appointed with artistic touches. We enjoyed a grilled meal. A couple very minor issues - we struggled a little with the combination lock simply because we hadn't encountered that sort of lock. The screen on the patio door stuck a bit as we tried to open and close it. We had brought some DVDs to watch at night but were not able to play them, even though a DVD player was available. However, we would come back again and hope to at some point.

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Loved the outside with creek, the kitchen was fully stocked. We didn't need anything. Beds were comfortable and it was super close to Main street

My wife and I and our daughter loved this place!!! It is all about the creek in the back yard which was just what we were looking for. The sound of water flowing was very soothing. The primary bedroom window is in perfect earshot of the flowing creek. We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood and enjoyed the creek crossing several neighborhood streets. We often saw deer, and many different birds. While located on a county road, road noise was not bothersome. Neither was no air condition for our one month stay during the months of June and July. We left the windows open most of the time especially overnight to enjoy those cool mountain breezes. Close drive to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort (20 min.) and Salida (30 min.) where we went multiple times. We hiked the Midland trails and the Arkansas River Trail (5 min.) nearly daily. We also enjoyed multiple trips down the river, which was amazing!!! It is also located (3 min.) from downtown Buena Vista. Lastly, Jo, the property manager, was so sweet and was eager to do anything to make sure our stay was enjoyable, and it certainly was! Thanks Jo!

from the moment we walked in the front door, we could tell this was a well cared for VRBO! totally upgraded, cozy, clean, well-stocked, and... the DECK! OH MY! i loved getting up at dawn and sitting out there. I loved sitting out there in the evening. I loved sitting out there! THANK YOU! we will return!

Beautiful Property

Beautiful property next to quiet stream. We saw deer on property almost every night! The location was very convenient to everything.... restaurants, grocery, and hiking. Easy communication with property manager, easy check in/out, property has everything you could need. Plenty of space for everyone and well maintained! One of the BEST places we've stayed!

Sweet spot

This place is all about the location. It's directly on the creek, the sounds of the water lull you to sleep. It has the basics, beds are comfy and clean; but, the main reason to stay is the quiet location.

Cute Cottage

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in the 2 bedroom and 2 bath cottage on the river. We accidently locked ourselves out of the cottage while unloading our luggage. :O The owner Julie was very quick to respond and help us get back in. I enjoyed the large counter space in the master bathroom. The master bedroom king bed was very comfortable. We didn't use the 2nd bedroom with a queen bed. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

Hidden Gem

I stay at least twice per year in BV to go fly fishing with Ark Anglers. This is by far one of THE BEST places we have stayed. So clean, everything you need, plus a very relaxing back porch with the relaxing stream just off of the porch. Beds were comfy, plenty of parking, very central to BV and just a fantastic stay from start to finish. Definitely looking to stay here on our next trip. We for sure will be repeats (if it isn't booked already).

A great rental in an amazing town

The house was perfect for us. We had coffee every morning Creekside on the deck. The bed was comfortable. We loved going to sleep with the babbling creek just outside. It’s an easy walk to restaurants and the park. It’s a quick drive to the Arkansas River. There are great hikes from there. There are several good restaurants in the downtown area. Overall it’s a great small town to spend time in.

Lovely place and lovely owners

This is a well-maintained gem, great for any type of visitor. The back porch does indeed back up directly to the river, and the spotless interior has all the modern conveniences, plus comfy furniture and all the dishes and cookware (and paper goods) anyone would need. This isn't an isolated cabin; it is in a very quiet neighborhood that is a short drive to Main Street and a short drive to mountain recreation. Also--I still can't believe how kind the owner was when we accidentally broke something in the house. Highly recommend!!

AMAZING AND PEACEFUL MODERN CREEKSIDE COTTAGE

It's even better in person! House was immaculate and so peaceful and calming having the creek right outside the back deck. Julie, the host, is exceptional in answering any questions you have. Will definitely go back and stay there!

Jerry and Julie Henderson grew up in Kansas City, and went to the University of Kansas, they married and spent 23 years in South Florida where we raised 3 daughters. In 1980, Jerry and Julie moved to Buena Vista, CO where they enjoyed mountain hiking and playing tennis. They also loved being involved with the community theatre! They also have an ongoing passion for reading…..anything from history to cookbooks, etc. Jerry and Julie love Buena Vista and truly enjoy showing others what is available here.

Recently updated, homey and very roomy, 2 bedroom creekside cottage conveniently located near the heart of town Buena Vista and the majestic Collegiate Peaks.
Features cozy living room includes 2 leather recliners and sectional couch, 47” flat-screen TV, DVD player, high-speed Internet, satellite dish. Living room and dining room seat 6 comfortably. Hardwood floors throughout. Efficient kitchen with copper sink, new stainless steel appliances, natural gas stove, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, teapot, etc. The master bedroom faces the mountains and creek. A comfortable trundle bed makes into a queen bed in the second bedroom. Front and back decks with rustic outdoor furniture. You will surely enjoy watching the amazing variety of birds and wildlife from both decks; you can also fish from the back deck!

This beautiful part of Colorado has much to offer any time of year. Many outdoor activities and special events make the Buena Vista area a fun and interesting place to visit. Fun and exciting rafting on the Arkansas River in the summer, excellent skiing in the winter months. Mountain climbing/hiking, fishing, golfing and other activities for you to enjoy. You will be very pleased with the wide variety of good restaurants, coffee houses, sports bars and places to shop.
