Location is 1 mile from Mount Princeton Hot Springs & Spa, 2 miles from Mt Princeton Stables Horseback Riding, 10 miles to Buena Vista, 10 miles to St Elmo Ghost Town, 20 miles to Salida, 37 miles to Monarch Ski area, 155 miles to Denver International, and within convenient driving distance of many other outdoor summer and winter activities including White Water Rafting, Kayaking, Fly Fishing, Hiking, Horseback riding, Mountain Biking, Hot Springs, Water Slide, Skiing, Snowmobiling. Golf, Bird Watching & more

Home features: Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, propane heat, large turnaround driveway parking for 2 vehicles, towels & linens provided; 5G WiFi, flat-screen TV with DVD/VHS and collection of DVD's or bring your own, ceiling fans, deck chairs, and complimentary toiletries. The Basement is limited to use only by Housekeeping for supply storage and laundry. Water is supplied by a private well on the property - from time to time it can have a mineral taste so feel free to bring bottled water if you prefer.

Good communication and the property was exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The view is absolutely amazing! Our young girls (9 and 11) are already asking when we can come back. Directions were easy to follow.

This is the perfect private getaway in Colorado. It's located exactly between all of the locations we enjoy going to. It's a quick trip to the Cascades, St. Elmo, Buena Vista, and Salida. It has the most beautiful view of the mountains. It genuinely felt like we were all alone. We also love sitting on the deck to look at the stars at night. The kitchen is very well stocked as well for nights in.

Amazing 4 night stay with that VIEW! Host made check-in extremely easy and thoughtfully messaged to confirm our stay was going good. Kitchen is well stocked, beds were comfortable, and house was immaculately clean. Downstairs bedroom has the 2 twin beds and shared bathroom & upstairs is the open loft with 2 queen beds and its own bathroom. Definitely would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay with a Stunning View

Perfect location. The cabin is tucked away where you feel you are in a secluded area of the mountain. The view from the cabin is absolutely stunning. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. The check in and checkout process was one of the easiest we’ve experienced. We’ve already recommended this cabin to our close family and friends.

Amazing view!

Splendid Isolation is the perfect descriptor for this property! The house has a great view of the chalk cliffs of Mt. Princeton, and downtown BV is only 20 minutes away! The house is well-maintained and very comfortable. Check-in and check-out could not be easier. The large windows provide a stunning view, but they also mean that it can get warm on sunny days. However, fans are available. The only two things we would change are to put one of the queen beds in the lower BR and make the vanity in the upper bathroom narrower to make it easier to get in the shower.

Great Place & Beautiful location

Everything was as shown in listing. Very clean and owner was quick to respond to a question we had. We were attending a wedding at Mt Princeton Resort and this was a short 5 minute drive away. Would definitely stay again!

Incredible View

This property has the most incredible view. I could sit on the deck all day long and just look at the mountains. It is the biggest plus to this property. This property had 2 twin beds that were hard as rocks. I had read about it in other reviews, but wasn't convinced until I actually tried sleeping on them. I slept on one and then the other hoping for comfort. If you like extra firm this is the bed for you. Thankfully the upstairs loft has 2 more beds that were much more comfortable. This place met all our needs and we would stay there again.

Gorgeous, Clean Cabin

The cabin was beautiful and the views were breathtaking. Very clean and spacious with everything we needed. There is no washer and dryer though but thankfully we brought enough clothes and there were plenty of towels that we didn’t need it. Perfect location in the mountains with easy access to Buena Vista and short drive to Salida. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing view!!

We go to Colorado every summer and stay in a VRBO cabin somewhere, usually different areas. One of main features we look for in a cabin is view, and I can honestly say that this cabin has the best view we've ever experienced! If you want a peaceful, out of the way place with a breathtaking view, this is your spot!! However, the cabin itself, while in a perfect location, wasn't perfect. No dishwasher, no clothes washer or dryer, and the upstairs bathroom was designed with an Oompa Loompa in mind. Also, and this was a big disappointment, no outside BBQ grill. Other than that, the place was awesome, we would stay again!

Lovely Mountain Getaway

Beautiful secluded property in the mountains. It was the perfect location for getting out of the city but convenient if we needed to go into town to get something. The view couldn't be beat. Instructions were clear. There was no air conditioning which wasn't a problem most of the time. A ceiling fan in the bedroom would have been nice. Fantastic place to stay. Owner/property manager were super easy to work with too.
