Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar and body wash. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens & towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Sea captain stay

House was great perfect room and space for the week with 5 adults. Comfortable, great walking distance to the beach. Bikes were nice to ride in the neighborhood or on 30A.

Perfect Little Beach house

We had an amazing time at this property, was the perfect size for us (4 adults and 3 kids). The house was clean and the neighborhood was quiet and serene. Would definitely stay here again!!

Family vacation

The home is very a well kept. Nice and clean. The houses location was a quick 5 minute or less walk to the beach! We enjoyed the home and area. Brozzonis pizza was ao good! Deer Lake Park was also a must see. We would book here again for a quiet relaxing vacation

Rainy week at the beach

The house was cute, very, very clean! It rained almost the entire week, but the house was large enough for the 5 of us to spread out when we had to stay inside. Would definitely recommend.

Very quick responses to our requests for housekeeping Adequate supplies

Overall this property was perfect for a long weekend getaway with my Sister. Great location! for recreation, shopping, dining and the beach access. Cottage is adorable but the carpet and some spreads had major stains (eeeew!) Loved Cassine Village! Friendly abd safe neighborhood! Looking forward to our next trip!

Teen Beach getaway

Took a group of teens on a beach trip. The house was in a perfect location. They could ride their bikes to seaside and the beach. House was a great size and we loved the location. Kitchen is well stocked with anything you need to cook with. Love the little neighborhood. Would definitely stay again

Great house

This property is very neat and clean. The location is terrific with a 5 minute walk to the beach access. For our early July stay, it was quiet most of the time when we were home. The free bikes were and added bonus and made the beach trip even easier if you chose to take a bike. No Keurig, so if you want morning coffee you have to buy the filter/coffee the old fashioned way, or just hop down to Tom Thumb in the morning.

Place was great! Getting help from office not so much!

Not sure why they offer the bicycles, we called and they told us they would be there by 6pm, no bikes. Called again twice. Bikes were rented???

Great House Close to The Beach

We loved our stay at Cassine Village. The location is so close to the beach and easy access to bike or walk to lots of places. We enjoyed breakfast at the house and packed our lunches to take to the beach. The house was very clean and nice. The only comment I would make is that I always look at the furniture in the living area to make sure there is adequate seating. In the listing photos, there is a large sofa, a recliner, and a blue loveseat sized piece. (I have screenshots of the listing) When we got there, there was one white sofa and an accent chair. We ended up pulling in a chair from the front porch. It is a nice sofa and chair, just not what was in the listing and not a lot of seating. Still a wonderful house.

Beach house

Location and neighborhood was wonderful! Living room furniture didn't match pictures on vrbo. White couch was dirty and stained, loveseat was newer, and no recliner. Management said they would clean it after we left. Trash, dead bugs, clipped toenails, dirt, and dust under all the living room furniture and table. Spoke with the operations manager and she said owner did not pay for “deep cleaning” and they can’t eat cost so they only sweep the floor and not under things. Furniture sits up off the floor and took me 3 minutes to actually sweep the correct way and remove all the trash and filth under it. Living room rug wasn’t vacuumed and had much dirt and sand in it. No curtains on living room door making neighbors able to see inside at night. Was offered a sheet on the 3rd day to hang up. Bathroom towel hangers and toilet paper holder not hanging up when we arrived. I texted management upon arrival and maintenance came and hung them up the next day. Grill dirty and full of ashes underneath from the previous guest.

Great house, sparse provisions

We loved the house and the neighborhood. The house really needed a few more towels in the bathroom and at least one more kitchen towel. Bath mats in the bathrooms would be a big plus, especially since there was not one extra towel to leave on the floor. Soap dishes in the bathrooms would have been nice. A few dishes had been returned the the cabinets unclean. The carport light is burned out and should be replaced or fixed. We understand that this house has been pared down to "bare essentials" to prepare it for sale, but we feel that a few essentials are missing. It's a great house in a fabulous neighborhood, though. The beach is close enough for a five to ten minute walk and the neighborhood has interesting nature trails, a nicely maintained tennis/pickleball court and a nice pool (not heated).

Good enough

Booked property for a family vacation. Pros: Living area and kitchen were spacious and open enough for a big family. Screened in porch was nice to hang out on in the morning with coffee and after dinner for games. Community was nice and quiet and at a great point on 30A. Plenty of parking. Definitely walking distance to the beach, bring a wagon like we did and you'll have no problem. Cons: Never received welcome email with check- in information. Ended up having to called 10 minutes after our check- in time and was told we should have gotten the email a week prior. Cleanliness was an issue. Dishes had crusted food and lipstick stains, ended up having to wash everything we planned on using the first night. Also found a blood stain on the wall in the master bathroom. This was communicated to Panhandle Getaways who said I would get a call from the operations manager who obviously didn't care about our stay as I never received a follow up call. We chose to contact Xplorie about renting complimentary bicycles during our stay. Despite booking in May, two months before our stay, bikes didn't arrived during requested window and only showed up after contacting Xplorie multiple times over the following two days. Get to the beach early most of the beach is private for rentals and the small public area fills up fast. Despite the above issues my family had a nice time. The location really made the trip for us but I don't think we will be returning to this location.

Great End of Summer Getaway

The location of this adorable neighborhood and cottage was not done justice by the listing. We had plenty of space and the air was nice and cool! I agree that carpet may need cleaning but was still not near as bad as I expected according to the reviews of others! The only downside was being confused about the code to enter the home as it was never sent and needed to call a few times to retrieve it! All in all, this was a great vacation and not nearly long enough! Would highly recommend and hope to return again!

Good location

Good house for a family. Close to beach and restaurants. Open floor plan which we liked. The main areas could use some updating with the decor. It was clean except for the carpets which are heavily stained. The only problem is there was an old refrigerator just sitting out in the screened in porch. When I contacted the property manager they said someone would pick it up but it was never removed for the duration of our stay. So we really did not get to enjoy the porch. I was disappointed by that. I did like the neighborhood. They also lock the gates to the pools at dusk so you cannot swim at night. This was disappointing for my children.

Great stay

Beautiful area for a short vacation. House was wonderful. Couch was a huge hit with al of us- A++ comfort. Very quick walk to pizza, donuts, beach and pool!

Great location but house was dirty

This house is located in a wonderful quiet neighborhood, very convenient to the beach, restaurants and bike rental. It comfortably slept our family of 6 and the a/c worked great on warm days. We loved sitting/eating in the screened-in porch and also the big Adirondack chairs on the front porch when the sun was setting. The problem was that it was not clean when we checked in. The floors were sticky and the counters, bedside tables, dresser tops were dusty or had sand on them. The owners need to replace the terribly stained carpet in each bedroom. It was quite ridiculous how stained the carpets were. Overall the house could use a deep clean.

Perfect for us

Great neighborhood, convenient to stores and restaurants. Close to the beach too! The house had everything we needed. The tub did have a little trouble draining though. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Great house, plenty of room to spread out

We had a great trip and enjoyed staying here so much! Plenty of parking and a really nice house to enjoy a few days away for my 50th birthday :) Short walk to the beach, restaurants and donuts, and an even shorter walk to the pool (which we had to ourselves for almost a whole day). Overall an excellent choice for us!
