Southside's Sunset Haven. Rooftop Deck. Perfect for Couples & Families w/ Kids!

This 3 level townhome in the southside is perfect for family or a group of friends. It is so easy walk to so much of what chattanooga has to offer including all of Main Street, the ChooChoo and Findley Stadium. And if you are coming for one of the Triathalons the bike race runs past only a block away.
The home layout includes a great modern kitchen featuring a gas stove, gas log fireplace a 1/2 bath and the main living room area.
Also note the house has 150 year old wood floors throughout the house.
Hop up the first flight of stairs and you find two bedrooms each with their own full bath and a large laundry area, which is great if you need to wash uniforms or workout clothes.
Hop up another flight of stairs and you will come to the official Master Bedroom and half kitchen and the best feature of all the huge outdoor deck! This is where you will enjoy all the wonderful outdoor views of the sunsets and the surrounding mountains. This is really a wonderful very private area to entertain and relax with family and friends.

This place was so nice, and the host was so thoughtful with every detail from a nice card and treatwelcoming us to sound machines in the room to a detailed notebook about the property and fun things to do in the area! The rooms were all very comfortable! I would definitely recommend this place to others!

Amazing!

The moment we opened the door we were thrilled. The place looks and feels like home. The furnishings are comfortable. The kitchen has everything. The three beadrooms with attached bathrooms have comfortable beds, soft towels, and great toiletries. The third floor deck seating is perfect for morning coffee, reading, and pre-bed drinks. Plenty of nice places to eat within walking distance. The host left a handwritten welcome notecard and cookies. I contacted him a couple times and immediately heard back. If you're staying in Chattanooga, this is the place to call home.

Four gal pals for 55 years take a trip every year. This was my second visit to Don's place. It is perfect! Clean, convenient, very well appointed with extra special perks that you don't find in many vrbo's. It was a real treat and Don gives it a personal, welcoming touch. One of my all time favorite places to stay!

Great place to stay

Don's place was perfect. Our family spent our spring break in one of our favorite cities. The location was perfect. Walking distance to some great restaurants. The family and I enjoyed the house with all the creature comforts. Check in and check out was easy. I will stay here again.

Birthday Celebration

We had a great stay at the Southside Sunset Haven, where we celebrated a major milestone birthday. Check-in was easy, and the beds were comfortable. Don, our host, was very responsive to our questions and made great recommendations for restaurants in the area. The area is very convenient to the UTC football stadium and restaurants. The rooftop patio facing the sunset was a great place to hang out. There were lots of little extras that made our birthday celebration at the Southside Sunset Haven just perfect.

So much fun !

Love this place ! Walking distance to all the neighborhood places that are opening in this area, or have been around for a while. Got a visit in to UTChatt with our kids, and they got to check out a new area of the city that we didn't see last time. Easy to check out when you have only one vehicle. My Daughter and I got to drive to Naughty Cat Cafe' ( a fave from a past visit) and see the 48 cats (!) while my son and husband checked out a great place for wings, just a short walk away ( so they didn't need the car ).Also loved that everyone has their own bathroom and a chill space for everyone on the rooftop. Just what we needed. Don was the perfect host .. even had really good chocolates waiting for our arrival from The Hot Chocolatier (love local : ) ). Will definitely be back !

Great family getaway!

We really enjoyed this property and location. Don left a personal note on arrival was very quick to respond and resolve one minor issue. The kitchen was well-equipped. We definitely will consider this property on our next visit!

We enjoyed the location and proximity to all the locations for our events. The townhouse was perfectly setup for our needs and there were all sorts of extra special touches throughout the house that were noticed.

Birthday Weekend in Chattanooga!

We had a great weekend in Chattanooga! The place was modern, very nicely decorated and well stocked. Don was great to work with and even provided some birthday treats. We walked to some cool breakfast and dinner places in the historic district and drove a few short miles to the riverwalk for dinner and drinks at a rooftop bar one night. We will definitely be back!

Head of the Hooch Weekend

Our son was competing in Head of the Hooch. We wanted a place that we could all be together and have room to hang out at night and also give everyone some privacy. This was the perfect place and location. It was comfortable and convenient. Don, the host, was amazing! He truly thought of everything and gave us a five-star experience! We would definitely stay again!

Nice stay, area and place

Because it is a great layout for family and friends to share and everyone has their own space and can do their own thing. Some want to go out and some like to stay home right?

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This property is great because you can walk to so many restaurants and shops but also because of the private outdoor space. Many times friends would meet here to go to the weekly nightfall concert and end up just staying on the deck visiting and enjoying the view.
Also the fact that every room has its own bathroom is pretty nice as well!
