Lodging B111 is a one bedroom apartment with a king sized bed on the ground floor. B111 provides quick access from the lanai to the pool, tennis & pickleball courts, putting green, park, and ocean at Luana Kai Resort. B111 is decorated with laminate flooring. Brand new kitchen cabinets and appliances.  New stand up shower in bathroom.  It is a very calming condo, with the amenities of home. It has a pool and garden view of the inner courtyard.

Lovely pool area with hot tub, saunas & 5 gas bbq grills.  Tennis & pickleball courts
FREE parking

Miles of sandy beach await you and your friends and loved ones. Find beautiful shells after every tide. Stroll along with whales, colorful kites, and sailboards. Watch the sunset, have a picnic, or just enjoy the big blue.  Enjoy your stay on Maui to the fullest.

Due to back-to-back bookings, cleaning, and maintenance schedules, late checkouts cannot be accommodated at this time. If you have a late flight out, we recommend booking an extra night to accommodate your schedule. Mahalo for understanding.

Peacefully energetic

Bright and clean inside the condo, lovely outside lanai viewing the garden. Great location to town and especially for walking to the ocean first thing in the morning and for sunset. Family and friends gathering by the pool for a meal and swim. Such nice energy. Everyone happy!

Quaint hidden gem

I was very impressed with this little hidden gem of a resort. The property is great and the landscape is beautiful. Being able to walk out from your unit onto the lanai and enjoy the beautiful mornings was amazing! There is no a/c which was fine because we used a box fan in the bedroom at night which was sufficient. A helpful tip, when you unlock the door it will lock again from the outside. When we first arrived, we unlocked the door and went to the car to get luggage to bring in to the unit and the door was locked again. Both keys were inside the unit. We had to go to the on call on-site property manager to get back into the unit. It all worked out just fine but always keep a key on you at all times. The pool/hot tub area was very nice and relaxing. We did have a small problem with flies coming in through an opening in the sliding glass door area. As long as we keep the sliding door and screen open the flies were able to get out but at night and when we left and had to close everything up they took over. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed staying in this unit and would stay again in the future!

Overall this unit does the trick

We took a gamble booking this unit without any reviews, but it was in the same complex as the unit our family booked, so it had to do. Overall, our experience was good, but I wanted to share some of our experience for others: Pros The grounds/complex are super clean, well lit, and well-manicured. The pool and bbq area are very nice, clean, and centrally located. This particular unit is located just steps from the pool, which was very nice for our family. The unit is fully stocked with kitchenware (pots, pans, dishes, utensils) but no cleaning products, very few beach items and no dry goods. The staff is super helpful, nice, and accommodating. The complex is located toward the northern end of Kehei, so traffic is lighter and it has good access to convenience shopping (Longs). The unit had a good selection for TV and the wifi worked nicely. The washer/dryer was a huge plus and we definitely should have packed lighter! The manager provides detergent and dryer sheets. Cons Our unit was ground-floor, which means we could hear EVERYTHING. The windows in the unit are just slats, so you can never fully close them. Although the complex has quiet hours, we could hear every footstep, rolling suitcase, conversation and bird outside. The beds in our unit (couch pull-out and king mattress) were quite firm (not bad for me but my husband was miserable). The beach accessed from this complex is not great for swimming because of gravel/rocks. To enjoy a beach day, you definitely need to walk/drive into Kehei or up to Lahaina. The unit itself could use a major facelift and is very outdated cosmetically. This didn't bother us too badly, but we could see that most units around us had been updated and looked much nicer. The appliances are very old and showing their age. Overall, we enjoyed our 10 day stay at this unit and would book again.

Great atmosphere and location.

The condo is in a great location and the beach access, pool and hot tub were right outside our door. Having grills in the pool area was nice so we could cook some meals there and not have to eat out for every meal. The other residents and guests were great to talk to and provided recommendations for restaurants and other things to see and do. Nice community environment. The lack of air conditioning was not too much of an issue during our stay in February, but could be an issues in hotter months.

Clean, safe and centrally located

This property is situated very nicely in terms of travel time to various locations on the island. Plus it is close to plenty of shopping. It is not as updated as some of the other units in the property, but it is clean and does the job if you are looking for the basics (shower, sleep, breakfast/lunches). Something to note, the unit can get rather stuffy since it doesn’t have an A/C. There is a floor fan in the bedroom that helps a lot, but the cross breezes were not plentiful when we stayed and since this is a first floor unit, leaving the patio door open to allow for cross breeze wasn’t an option. We didn’t have issues at night, but if the temps or humidity are high, it could be uncomfortable.

I am Leslie and I moved to Maui 40 years ago.  I immediately started work at Luana Kai in Kihei and am still here.  I am blessed to call Luana Kai my FAMILY.  I have had the pleasure of watching families grow up year after year and some who were babies when I started are coming back with their babies now.  Such a delight.  

I am happy to say most of my employees have been here for 10 plus years.  We are on site in the front office and can take care of you.  We are a happy bunch and look forward to welcoming you to our Luana Kai home.
