Loved this condo and the location. I would definitely stay here again. The beach wasn't overcrowded. Had everything we needed for our stay and to cook breakfast. The pull out couch was not comfortable for me but the kids didn't complain. There was plenty of towels and wash clothes. I loved how the towels were folded into hearts ,crabs and a sand dollar.

Excellent location!

We lived our stay in PCB and the location of this condo was perfect! It is in the lesser populated tower of the resort, so we appreciated the extra space at the pool & on the beach vs. the crowds around the main buildings. Also easy to get to all the fun extras around town. My only complaint was the noisy mattress & smelly couch but we could live with that for the location & value of this condo!

The stay was amazing we really liked it, right by the ocean our kids loved it. With family it’s perfect stay. Location is great. They have nice pools, food, restaurants. The only thing we don’t liked was mattresses was terrible floors where really dirty, kitchen is not organized. There was not enough spoons no bowls no sponge to wash dishes. We massaged the owner and let them know so they can change those this. Hopefully they can update things.

Clean and spacious

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the spacious layout and the level of cleanliness of this room. However, a few major points of interest were: the mattress was incredibly loud and could wake us up with any movement; bedroom TV would not work at all (5 nights); the sliding door was almost impossible to open or close, and I really enjoy balcony time; there was not a single bowl to use for our cereal and ice cream we purchased for our stay; and the couch was a bit unsanitary looking. We appreciated the ease of getting in and out of the room, in general, and getting to the beach. The room as was extremely clean and that was a plus. The room could use a decor makeover, along with a change in bathroom mirrors that I could hardly see my face because they were small and too high. The room could use a full-sized mirror and better dishes that can be used in the microwave. I am not the type of person to leave a bad review, but I would absolutely rent the room again with changes made.

TERRIBLE!!!

Dryer to washer did not work, dishwasher did not work, balcony sliding door did not work (it was so bad off the track it was impossible to slide) TV in bedroom did not work and also the front door would not latch properly to even close the door to the unit!!! Addressed all these issues with office and numbers provided and none of them was fixed during our stay, always an excuse given everytime I spoke to someone!!! Not to mention that we arrived 45 mins after our check-in to housekeeping still cleaning the unit where that was half way done!! Mold coming out of the vents throughout the unit, no lights in bedroom just lamps for light. This is not what I paid for!!! I would not recommend this condo FOR ANYONE!!!!! I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good bang for the buck

We weren't expecting 1st class given the price and it pretty much met our expectations. As overall, we enjoyed our stay. The beds (master and pull out) were not the best and need to be replaced. Both make a lot of noise and are pretty uncomfortable. Some other deferred maintenance in the property, but given how little we stayed in the room outside of the bed, that was no biggee. The beach in front of this building is more private than that found in front of the main pool, which was nice. Plenty of parking during our stay and never didn't find a spot near the building. Overall, a fun trip.

Not What Expected

Nothing like the pictures, furniture in advertisement was missing, no tv in Bedroom, holes on walls in living room and bedroom, glass door was full of smudge and handprints, couch was filthy(did not even touch it, let alone sit on it the 9 days we were there), dishes were dirty had wash before use, etc...WILL NOT BECK OR USE VRBO FOR THERE SERVICES EVER AGAIN!

Not clean!

The unit itself was as described in the listing. It was just not clean and needed some TLC. In one bathroom (I assume it was previous guest) wrote “clean me” in the built up dirt on the tile in front of the vanity. The dated furniture also was visibly dirty which was not inviting to sit in a chair or on the couch to relax. The master bed was reasonably comfortable but it was extremely noisy when you would get in, get out or rolled over. The floor and baseboards were also visibly dirty. The closets were filled with extra, broken furniture and or decor. There were only 2 spoons and 2 bowls in the kitchen. The exhaust fan in the main bathroom made an unsettling noise when turned on. There were salt and pepper shakers in the cabinet that were rusted and the contents were solid as a rock. The glass shower slider also was off the tracks and did not slide easily. The resort itself was fine and the view was great. Outside of the overall resort and location this unit left much to be desired.

Should Have Taken Previous Reviews More Seriously

Filthiest condo I have ever rented. Floors so dirty that our feet turned black after walking on them barefoot. The shower curtain in one of the bathrooms had makeup wiped all over it. The shower in the other bathroom had soap scum built up in the corners. The furniture was also filthy and worn out. I don’t expect a room to be spotless, so reading previous reviews didn’t discourage me from renting this condo, because I feel that some people are a little too picky when it comes to cleanliness, but I should have taken the reviews seriously. The bathtub had no way to plug the drain, so my small child couldn’t take a bath. The glass shower door was very dangerous and seemed like it could fall if moved too quickly. The room was also missing the smoke detector. The bed was very squeaky and made a lot of noise. There was an outlet cover hanging out in the bedroom with a screw sticking straight up. On Wednesday night, we got a note at the door notifying us that pest control services would be coming in our room on Thursday. We already had a morning fishing trip scheduled, so we weren’t there when they came. I am not sure what was done or if our belongings got sprayed with pesticide. Not sure why this couldn’t be done while the room wasn't occupied. We had maids trying to enter our room an hour before checkout time on Saturday. I believe that a condo that rents for the price of this one should be clean, safe, and ready BEFORE the renter arrives. This room needs some major TLC.

Nice Resort but Housekeeping Sucks

Property was nice we were in the Windward tower which is at the end it was quieter than the other areas but there was no ice machines, vending machines that we seen they were all farther away. Also if you haven't eaten at the Restaurant there on the Property I suggest you check prices cause we did 1 day ordered 2 cheeseburgers and 2 cokes it came to $42.00 which was shocking 2 us so B prepared. Condo was in need of deep cleaning & the showers were not cleaned cause we found a hanger at the end of the first bathroom which told us they didnt bother 2 clean it & the drawers had trash left in them there was broken things in the closets & the silverware drawer tray had dirt in it. The floors were sandy also the bed had little fuzz balls all over it which poked through the sheet and into your skin, the sheets & comforters were old & felt irritating 2 the skin so they might wanna replace those & the mattress was not comfortable at all for someone with a bad back. We was given 1 roll of TP for each bathroom so if your going plan on bringing your own TP and there was no trash bags except the one in the trashcan so bring extras. We have never stayed at a place where there wasnt extras on everything so bring your own stuff also no teaspoons so bring those 2. The elevator has no air, checkout they were banging on doors before 7:30 am & at 6 am they were banging on elevators with hammers. Owners should be checking on their places cause housekeeping sucks there. 3 out 5 stars

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'll start saying I really like this condo a lot! Having stayed at Edgewater since I was a kid I know how great the resort is. The condo was very clean and has everything you need. There were just a couple things I didn't like. First, the couch is beyond worn out and needs to be replaced. Second the mattress in the bedroom is cheap and not very comfortable. The air conditioner is restricted at 69 Other than those things this is a good condo to come back to.

Needs to fire cleaning crew and hire new cleaners

Beach and outside condo was nice. Inside condo was terrible. Filthy dirty. Sheets on the bed were gritty with sand. Box springs were broke on the bed. VERY uncomfortable so much that we cut our trip short and came home early. I went and bought sheets to sleep on. The condo floor and furniture were covered with sand. We swept the floors and had to go buy a dust pan as there wasn't one in the unit. I have pictures of the dirt from floors. Walls had dust and mold on them. No Hot Water in Both Bathroom Faucets. Toliet ran the whole time we were there. Maintenance came to unit three times worked on toliet and finally fixed it. Living room and Bedroom furniture needs a serious update. We Love Panama City Beach just the unit REALLY needs updating. My husband said he couldn't believe the owners could even sleep on that bed.

Overall the place was okay. The beds were not comfortable at all. They made alot of noise everytime you moved. We love Edgewater so being on the beach was a plus.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the Edgewater resort as a whole. The room on the other hand left a lot to be desired. The cleanliness was very poor on arrival. The bedding had obviously not been washed, this was evident by the dirty socks under the comforter. Mold on the bottom of the shower curtain and around the AC registers and I swept up a large pile of sand and hair and cleaned off what looked to be a booger off one of the closet doors. We really enjoyed the resort, but had to do a lot of cleaning before our vacation could begin. We actually left the place cleaner than we found it. I would recommend the Edgewater, but might look for a different person/company to rent from.

Worst place in 20 years!

The place hasn’t been cleaned in forever! Tables had visible dust, not swept, ottoman sandy/dirty, mold on shower curtain, no pillow cases, bed awful, blown lights in kitchen and bathroom, beyond disgusting floor by washer, hall bathroom floor filthy, wall damaged in bathroom. I have pictures of it all! Balcony view was blocked for 4 days due to painters and the door wouldn’t close/lock. Definitely was not worth the $$$$ we paid! Beyond disappointed! Should receive some sort of a refund! Majorly outdated . Would love to talk with someone!
