*PLEASE NOTE: SunDestin Beach Resort is undergoing an extensive property modernization project beginning September of 2024. Construction will occur from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, including weekends if required. Guest will most likely experience construction noise during these times and other inconveniences. Please be advised that our outdoor amenities will be closed until early Summer of 2025:

The grill and smoking areas will be relocated during the renovation. The indoor pool and gym are available during their regular operating hours.
This timeframe coincides with the first two phases of our property renovation, and all dates are subject to change due to weather, labor, or supply chain issues. We apologize for any disruption and appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance our resort for your future enjoyment. Renovations will continue throughout 2025 and into Spring of 2026.

One glimpse of Destin's beaches and you are hooked. This beautifully decorated condominium is a great place to start an annual vacation spot for you and your family. Come and enjoy the vacation you've dreamed of! Our luxurious one bedroom one and a half bath unit located at Sundestin Beach Resort is ideal for a relaxing getaway. The main bedroom offers a king bed and the living room has a queen sofa bed, great for the kids. This unit comes complete with all the amenities you need to enjoy a meal together. Guests will also enjoy the balcony; dine while overlooking the Gulf. There are a TV and DVD player in each room. Come make memories at Sundestin.

Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
SunDestin Beach Resort is undergoing construction to the building. Please expect intermittent noise during construction hours of 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday. If construction needs to go past these hours or on the weekends information will be posted a week in advance in the lobby of SunDestin. Construction will be completed by June 2025.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 8.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We didnt really talk to the host, we talked to VRBO who rented the unit on behalf of the owner. The view was beautiful and the condo was clean. The condo was mostly functional but the bathtub didnt drain. My boyfriend had to unscrew the drain and a wad of hair came out. I said something the day we checked in but no one did anything about it. The sliding blinds were missing panels and there was no way to close them on our balcony door window. There was no hand soap. The listing said the amenities would be usable but Sun Destin closed the pool the day we got there and the hot tub wasnt kept hot at all. We werent told the umbrellas on the beach were 54 to rent to use. The bed wasnt very comfortable. By the end of our stay we had sore backs, lol. Overall, the thing we liked the most was the view.

The bathroom needs to be remodeled for it to be functional. The couch needs to be replaced. The view is gorgeous and the beach access is good.

Blinds on sliding door was missing blinds and handle, so could not close them. Dishes were left in the dishwasher. Bathtub was dirty and does not drain properly. Chairs on balcony were rusted and pieces were falling off. Too scared to use them in fear they may break, so had to use our own beach chairs. Told the property at check in but they never responded back. Had someone keep yelling from another balcony to stop smoking and even went so far to send security to our door saying he seen someone on the balcony smoking, which we were not, and had only came back to the condo from the beach less than a minute before he knocked, we weren't even there, had been on the beach all day. The bed was uncomfortable for my husband, he tossed and turned all night. We checked out a day early because of this and Karen's trying to ruin Other people's vacation. Other than that the view was amazing.

The ocean view was the best part of our stay. It was clean but the couch cushions and carpet were wet when we arrived. The front desk staff were not friendly. The ceiling in the shower was peeling and the tub didn't drain while showering. The bed was hard and owner didn't have much to make it feel hospitable. At least some hand soap would have been nice.

location great, comfortable bed, washer and dryer are in the hallway not in the condo, range hood is rusted and dirty, 1/2 bath floor had long hair on it, we have short hair, could not run air conditioner at night because it sounded like a generator was in the bedroom, patio chairs were also rusty, ran out of hand soap in the bathroom

Sundestin Beach Condo 807

Not our best stay. This condo was not what we expected. A shutter like thing was leaning against the wall in the hall. Thank god it didn't fall on my gran-daughter. I contacted someone about the package with dish washing stuff, laundry, and such was supposed to have hand soap, shampoo and lotion but didn't. We wanted to wash our hands. It wasn't a good exchange. Never got any of that. Went to WalMart to get necessities. The furniture looks like thrift store rejects(couch, chairs and ottoman). Curtains in main area had multiple slats missing. Carpet looks nasty. We will not be back to this unit. The most positive thing I can say is the view was beautiful.

Great and relaxing but……

The parking was not very organized with construction, we had to try to park across the street and traffic was horrific to get across the street. The bathrooms didn’t have any soap, 2 burners on the stove didn't work and the chairs on the balcony look like they’re going to break if you sit down. The room was still cozy and perfect for my husband and I.

Disappointed

We arrived sunday, June 15th, for our honeymoon week. The property appears to be under extensive renovations with construction vehicles and trailers in the parking lot (limiting parking spots) and two of four elevators being used for building materials. Our unit was nice and clean but throughout the course of the week, we uncovered several issues. The electric lock on the front door jammed frequently and we would have to re-enter the passcode 2x or more before we could enter. The headboard of the bed was not fully attached to the frame and would bang against the wall at the slightest movement. The sliding back door was extremely heavy and difficult to open. In addition, the track for the door sticks up enough that we tripped going onto the balcony more than once. The blinds at the Glassdoor were inoperable and remained open our entire stay. The toilet directly off the bedroom ran consistently and we eventually turned the water off at the wall and made do with only one toilet. Several electrical plugs were loose or otherwise not working. While the kitchen was well-stocked, the front left stove eye was rusted through at the connector and could not be used, nor were there any potholders for removing hot items from the oven. The biggest inconvenience was the fact that toilet paper and laundry facilities were not included other than two rolls of toilet paper at the start of the week. When we requested fresh linens, the front desk advised that our unit was not their responsibility.

I did not stay in this property

Vacasa is terrible. This is not the rental I stayed in. My first rental was in Sundestin. It was dirty, the building was under construction, there were holes in the wall in the unit and the pool was closed. No one from Vacasa got back in touch with me despite my reaching out several times. I ended up rental an entirely new place in Watersedge and it was great. Cost me a fortune because I paid for the dump Vacasa put me in;

Awful, keep looking

Entire building was under construction. There was a note in the listing, however I was not at all expecting it to be as bad as it was. No access to the beach view balcony attached to our unit. No access to the outdoor amenities (hot tub, pool, splash pad), then indoor hot tub was also not open and the indoor pool was closed for a little while too. The outdoor seating on the beach was not kept up with by the building. It was covered in sand. Now to the actual unit… because the construction will end.. the unit just sucks. Great location. That’s it. The carpet is gross feeling and had sharp things in it by the dinner table. My guest and I both stepped on something super sharp and had to make sure we wore our shoes inside the rest of the stay. The bed is a spring mattress and so uncomfortable. Four small pillows on a large king sized bed, and just sheets on the bed. The shower had hair in it from the previous guest. The AC needs to be updated majorly. It is so loud, and sounds like you’re going to take off to the moon in the middle of the night. When I found out about the construction having all of the amenities closed at once, I tried reaching out to the owners to see if I could get a refund or moved to another location and they were not understanding at all. Do not rent from VaCasa at all! Worst property management company ever.

Great view and good location to everything. On site restaurant and bar was great which is a division on fudpuckers. On site convenience store with great coffee is a major plus! Beach was great and friendly. However with that being said the room needs a major update and carpet removal to help with odors. The kitchen counter was updated so that was nice. We did enjoy the view though. Vacasa was very easy to rent through and had great communication
