First floor rental located a short walk, about 250 yards, to the beautiful beaches and amazing waters of St Joseph Bay and 2 miles from Mexico Beach. The property has 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. The spacious master bedroom has a king bed and a smart tv. The cozy second bedroom has queen size bed and a smart tv. The partially open living and kitchen area allows space to relax and enjoy your time away from the pristine waters. There is one bath located next to the two bedrooms. There is also a queen pullout sofa in the living room area, if more space is needed. There are no steps in the unit. You can also enjoy the outdoor patio area that includes a picnic table, chairs, grill, and outdoor shower. Large outdoor space to enjoy playing games or letting the the kids burn off some energy. An outdoor fire pit is also available. There is lots of parking for vehicles and boats. The rental is the first floor only. The owner lives on the second and third floor with his daughter and their cat but does not have access to the rental.

Best place for Honeymoon

Property Owner is an amazing host. He was very knowledgeable about the area and enabled us to do activities everyday. The house was extremely clean and had any amenities you would need already provided! I would definitely recommend this to anyone and we will definitely be coming back again to stay here!

Great place with an affordable price

The place is clean, 2 bedrooms are very roomy, and a large sleeping sofa is quite comfortable. It's located off the beach front but close enough to walk/drive to the beach. We will definitely consider this place when we go to Port St. Joe again.

Clean and comfortable

It was the first time my son and I have been to FL and it did not disappoint. The neighborhood was quiet and only a few mins walk to the beach. The place is very clean and the owner is very kind and responsive to questions. We'll definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

Great place as always

This is my second time staying here. Same as last time. Property manager takes very good care of the place. Always feel welcome coming there. Area is very quiet and calm. A great place to get away and relax. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Great place!

We were very pleased with everything about the apartment, from location, to cleanliness and amenities, to having a kind and helpful host in Jeremy. The best part was being allowed to bring our big dog with us for a dog-friendly beach vacation. We all had a blast! I highly recommend Jeremy’s place for a couple or small family.

Beach Bums

We had a wonderful time, this little gem is a perfect location, between Port St Joe and Mexico Beach, Restaurants and shopping and of course the beach. The host is very gracious and helpful with any questions. We have stayed here a number of times and looking forward to our next visit in a few weeks.

Stay here! Fully stocked w/ kitchen gadgets and toiletries! Host was very gracious and communicative. Extremely clean and well furnished with plenty of space for the three of us. Great location with the kindest host!

As Advertised

The property was exactly what the writeup states. Just off 98. Very close to Mexico and St. Joe beaches. Jeremy (host) was VERY communicative, and accomodating, yet gave you your privacy. The property is very clean, with all kinds of thought put into applicances (like a Keurig), and towels and beach paraphanalia. At no time did we experience anything remotely close to an inconvenience, or any presence of neglect or disrepair. In all likelihood, we would not even bother shopping around next visit to the area. We couldn't ask for a better place or host. Thanks, Jeremy!

Great base for area

This was a great base for nearby beach exploring in Cape San Blas, Mexico Beach & Apalachicola. Downtown Port St Joe is less than 10 min drive and has several good restaurants. Everyone we encountered was friendly and efficient. Property is as advertised — comfy beds & plenty of hot water! The space is tastefully decorated and Jeremy was very communicative and helpful! We truly enjoyed our time!

Excellent Find

This house was an excellent find. It was a short walk to the beach. Jeremy was very helpful and even brought us the best donuts on our last day! I highly recommend staying here.

Jeremy was the best! The place was perfect and had everything and then some of what we needed. It was also very nice, clean and perfect for the weekend. Exceeded expectations, highly recommend!

Great location! Great Trip!

Jeremy’s place was just as described in the listing: super clean, cozy, 2 blocks from the beach, nice quiet neighborhood. It was the perfect amount of space for my husband, my two teenage daughters and our black lab Harley. Jeremy was an incredibly gracious host, my husband and I enjoyed talking with him and my 13 year old daughter enjoyed spending time with his little girl. We did not feel that our time was encroached upon in any way with Jeremy living upstairs to the unit, he took great care to give us the space we wanted and was personable and engaging when we did see him. The location was perfect, I felt good walking my dog early in the morning throughout the neighborhood, and the beach is literally two blocks away, super easy to walk to and from Jeremy’s home. Shopping for groceries is about 20 min away in downtown Port St Joe, i would say you could basically find anything you’re looking for either at the Piggly Wiggly or the Dollar General Super Store in town. There are plenty of eateries in downtown Port St Joe and great local shops as well. Cape San Blas is about a 30 minute drive from Jeremy’s, we visited the gulf side beaches there several days, all dog friendly beaches which was great for us and our pup! We enjoyed the waves, sun and sand. Jeremy has an outdoor shower which made it super convenient to wash off after a day at the beach before coming inside the house. The two bedrooms were plenty of room for the 4 of us, we definitely used and enjoyed the kitchen to cook in, Jeremy had all of the pots, pans and utensils one would want when cooking, we also used the grill outside for burgers one night and made good use of the washer and drier for our beach towels (he has some towels available for use, we just brought our own) and bathing suits. I would say that Jeremy has put quite a bit of thought into his rental, ensuring his guests have all the comforts of home away from home. He was a great host and would highly recommend his place. We look forward to seeing him and his daughter again!

Cute functional apartment

My family of five stayed for a week, enjoyed ourselves. Location was good, just far enough off the construction areas, close enough to walk to the beach, but we drove. Mexico Beach is recovering still from Hurricane Michael 2018 and the town and forest shows it. The residence still smelled of mold but we powered through. Upside is we were hardly there, and had the whole beach pretty much to ourselves, which was what we were after. We did a few days at Mexico Beach, then drove up to Panama City Beach, Destin, down to Port St. Joe, and Cape San Blas each for a day. I loved the chance to see multiple beaches, each a little different. Jeremy was a fine host, I would recommend this location for anyone looking to vacation without the busy condo scene.

Welcome to ABSea 123! I have lived in Gulf County, Florida since 2011, after living all over Virginia, and growing up near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My daughter and I spend a great deal of time at the beach and enjoying the amazing areas around us. We enjoy taking in the sunsets most nights of the week. We also travel whenever the opportunity allows. I spend a lot of time in Panama City where I am one of the founders and principal of a group of charter schools. We love hosting guests and over the past 5 years we have built many long-lasting friendships. You have as much privacy as you would like, but we are always available to answer any questions you may have at any time. My daughter is always willing to help entertain your children and/or furry friends.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We purchased the property shortly after Hurricane Michael so we could be within eyesight of the beach. It was in need of a complete renovation which we painstakingly started during in 2019. It has been a labor of love for both my daughter and I and it is our hope that you enjoy your time with us.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The house is located in a small neighborhood where the neighbors still talk to one another, children play in the street, and truly, everyone knows each others name. You can easily walk to the beach, of course, plus the Dollar General, Exxon gas station, several food trucks, and the local bar.
