Sandyland South is located in the Prominence South community of Watersound Beach, Florida. Deer Lake State Park, directly in between Watersound beach and Watersound West beach, is the closest public beach access and it is .6 of a mile on 30A heading West from our home. It is an easy bike ride to get there, or if you drive, they have parking. There is a .2 mile walkover through the protected dunes from the parking lot to the beach. The park has picnic pavilion and restrooms. A small entrance fee of either $2/person or $3/car is collected on the honor system. Annual passes may also be purchased.

The closest Walton County facilities are the Gulf Lakes public beach access in Seacrest (about 1 mile away, has bike rack) and Santa Clara beach access in Seagrove (about 2 miles away, has parking and restrooms).
