This was one of our best Maui stays! The unit was impeccable, everything we could have thought of was provided, from to-go containers, ziplock bags, every utensil possible. It was clean, modern and had amazing sunset views from the breeze way. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay.

A great unit in a great location. The beach across the street was very handy and the chairs, umbrella, etc. were great to have. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed, everything was clean, modern and functional. Would stay here again!

Great spot!

Fantastic condo, right next to the beach and easy walk to stores and restaurants. Plus the pool was wonderful. Perfect for when the beach is too much!

This is a wonderful complex and a very nice unit. It had everything you might need while on vacation. We loved the quick walk to the beach and pool area. Host provided excellent communication and check in was very easy. Just a quick note that the second pullout bed in the living room is very firm and we found it uncomfortable. It would also be nice if there were drapes in the living room, so it wouldn’t be so bright in the morning. The host did double check with us on booking that we were aware of the bed situation, I just couldn’t find any other reviews about whether the pull out bed was comfortable or not.Overall an lovely trip.

Likely one of the best vacation rentals I've ever had. The host's thoughtfulness in preparing for guests really surpassed every place I've stayed at. Not only do they have all the beach and cooking gear all supplied for use... there were little touches here and there that made this place outstanding:-A bag of recyclable bags ready to use by the front door-a laundry basket- ziploc bags- discount foodland coupon provided by front desk- multiple keys to split among guests- numerous beach towels- wagon and cooler for beach staysThank you again! Do not hesitate to book.

Great view!

This 3rd floor unit had an awesome view and was really nice and quiet! It also got a good trade-wind breeze and we didn’t even need the A/C — even in midsummer! The unit was also well-supplied with everything we needed and had nice, modern appliances, and was tastefully decorated. This was our fourth stay in Kamaole Sands, and this was by far the BEST and most updated of all the units we have stayed in. We would certainly stay in this unit again! We certainly appreciated the owner’s attention to details! Thank you !

So good!

VERY well stocked unit. Just about everything you will need to cook your food and eat. The floors could have been a little cleaner-bottoms of barefeet are dirty by the end of the day- but nothing major. Probably due to the season which is super windy this time of year and no fault of the unit itself. I was so glad it does not overlook the pool area!! Its quiet and I will miss sitting out on the lanai. Firm mattress in bedroom and on the murphy bed. This was a really great pick!!

Worth crowing about!

Daily wake up call courtesy of the onsite rooster! Definitely felt like home, very well appointed and comfortable. Close to shopping and great restaurants, and the beach is just across the street! Looking forward to our next visit. Mahalo nui loa!

The property was just as it appeared in the photos. It was toward the back of the complex that was across the street from the beach, which we knew in advance. It was easy to cross the street. The owner was very kind to accommodate our schedule. My husband and I would rent there again!

Wonderful and comfortable

Thank you Deb and Larry, we had an amazing wedding and honeymoon. I loved the condo and I appreciate the fact we were able to stay in your winter home. It is beautiful and will always hold a special place in my heart. The kitchen was gorgeous and the lanai was my favorite place, as we ate romantic dinners and breakfasts outside. I hope one day we will be able to stay again. Cannot thank the owners enough, everything was perfect.

Clean, spacious property in a good location!

Very comfortable stay here, with all supplies provided. Good location with restaurants/cafes a few minutes drive away. The coffee machine stopped working a day in, but Kelsey was super responsive and provided another one within the day. Good internet as well, since we were working out of here for a couple of days. Maybe providing a few more dishwasher pods would be nice, we only had two to last a week.

Wonderful stay in Maui

Kelsey was a lovely host and we had an amazing time. The unit was so great and had everything we needed for our trip. The location was perfect and it was so nice to have a place to come back to after a long day of exploring Maui. Unfortunately, we had to change our trip due to the wildfires while we were there and Kelsey could not have been more accommodating. 10/10, 5stars, all the positive reviews. If we are able to go back to Maui in the future, we will absolutely contact Kelsey and try to book her condo again!

Wish there would have been air conditioning in the main living space. Was hard getting ready for the evening when it was so hot. However, sleep was comfortable with an air unit in the bedroom! Was a wonderful location and very clean! Thank you!!

Beautiful stay in Kihei

Loved the condo complex overall and the unit itself! Our first time on Maui and we loved it. The building is on the back of the property, overlooking a quiet yard and street with lots of shade on the lanai. The unit is stunning and modern, nice furniture in the living area, full kitchen and comfortable bed. It felt more like a home than a rental. Appreciated having the beach towels and chairs available for use. Condo complex had nice pool and hot tub area, as well as gorgeously manicured lawns. Check in was easy and there was easy communication leading up to the trip.

Beautiful condo, ocean view, couldn't be better.

SO clean, kitchen great update. Bed was the best quality king, towels and sheets pristine white. TV Big, easy to watch in evening. Breakfast on lanai, with ocean view, and a million song birds, waving palms, its all you want in a vacation. This condo was perfect. Lawn chairs, and large umbrella in perfect condition. Lots of extras, like spices, suntan spray, even covid test kits. EVERYTHING and more was supplied. We loved the washer and dryer, excellent quality. Truly a great condo at a great rate. This is our 3rd stay in Kamaole Sands Condo complex, this was the best of the 3. You will love it.

Wonderful condo and Maui Location

The only problem was opening the lock box on the door which housed the key to the condo. You might want to have this checked because the code we were given wasn’t working. It took us about 40 minutes for us to get in. We called the local contact but she was not close by to help us!! Once we got in all was good!

Beautiful renovated condo! Clean and comfortable!

We have stayed at kamoale many times and this was one of the cleanest and most comfortable condo! Bed was amazing! Kitchen was stocked with the necessary condiments, spices, lots of comfortable stools for the kitchen island, and a desk to work at. The lanai was extra large, comfortable chairs, and fully equipped with beach chairs and cooler. Lots of beach towels! Only reason I did not give it a full five stars was because there was no instructions on how to operate the tv which was hit and miss, and the second bathroom, which we didn’t necessarily need, had problems with the shower and toilet. Kelsey was responsive however and apologized as he did not know there were problems with the second bathroom. Overall excellent stay and would book this condo again!

What an amazing condo! Our first time on Maui, and we hit the jackpot of residences.

Because Deb and her husband live there several months a year, we had everything we needed. They checked in with us to make sure we were happy with everything, and we were!!! The condo is beautifully updated and has a wonderful view of the ocean. We loved eating breakfast on the lanai every morning and grilling in the park-like setting by the pool in the evenings. We were definitely living in the lap of luxury!! The property personnel were also friendly and accommodating. From the free continental breakfast and orientation to the island presentation, to the front desk and grounds keepers, everyone worked to make sure we had a wonderful stay. And we did!! Thank you ALL for making our first trip to Maui very memorable! ~Suzanne and Bill

Exactly as pictured!

This was a great condo at a beautiful complex. Sunsets from the lanai each evening weee gorgeous. Well stocked kitchen with a few “extras” like spices, baggies, Saran Wrap/Foil … things you really appreciate when cooking at home on vacation. Thank you!! The beach chairs and umbrella were so nice too! There is an A/C wall unit in the family room and stand up A/C unit in the bedroom. We did utilize the A/C and it worked great. One thing we didn’t realize or know was the unit in the family room is on a 60 minute twist timer like hot tub jets so you have to keep turning the dial if you want it to stay on. A little inconvenient but it was fine. We would definitely stay here again! Beautiful, updated condo!!

Awesome location and condo

Kihei was a good location near lots of restaurants and activities. This gave us easy access to tours and road trips around the island. Checking was easy. The view from the lanai is amazing. From the couch you see Pu’u Kukui mountain with beautiful flowing clouds down past the wind turbines to the ocean. The view of the ocean shore wraps around to, I am guessing, Lahaina. Sunset was orange and pink with light and dark clouds. The condo is very well stocked with everything you need for a relaxing stay. There are lots of pots, pans, dishes, glasses, towels and, soaps. Dishwasher made cleanup easy. The one drawback to the condo location is the loud car noise on Keonekai Rd in the afternoon and evening. The bedroom is on the quiet side so it did not interfere with sleeping and the view from the lanai made it worth it. Open the sliding glass door and the front door for a cool refreshing breeze. We identified a couple small maintenance issues and Veronika got it taken care while we’re out on an adventure. Overall we recommend this condo. We highly recommend Kai Kanani catamaran sunrise snorkel tour, Jungle Zipline and to drive the narrow road around the west side of the island.

We holidayed in Maui for 30 years, the first 15 in Kaanapali and the last 18 in South Kihei at Kamaole Sands. Over the years we stayed in almost every building at Kam Sands assessing the features and benefits of each. For many years we traveled with our children, now it is just the two of us with the exception of wonderful visits from our kids. We chose our suite because of the large lanai, the ocean view and the privacy. We now winter for five months in our renovated Maui home and know we made the right choice, we love, love. love it.

Third floor, end unit with an EXTREMELY private lanai (deck) with an ocean view over Kamaole 2 Beach. A rare bonus extra (end) window where sunset colors that light up the sky can be enjoyed. We're situated a convenient but quiet distance from the elevator, garbage chute , barbeques & electronic car gate.
