There is Full service Marina right next door with Jet Ski, Pontoon, and Kayak rentals! All resort renters receive 10% off watercraft rentals at the Marina after booking! Also offered is a Kiteboarding shop also next door offering rentals and lessons!

Please review our rental agreement when booking for all the information for booking.

Refundable Damage/Cleaning Security deposit will be refunded after departure as long as guidelines in our rental agreement are followed.

* Please note this cabin allows a maximum of 2 dogs. The Pet fee when pet is selected charges for only 1 pet. Please let us know if you will be bringing more than one pet, up to 2 pets is allowed for a $15.00 fee/pet/night. This extra fee will be added upon request before or after booking.

PARKING:
- 2 parking spots
- Please contact us if you plan to have more vehicles to discuss extra vehicle parking
- Please ensure that your vehicle(s) are parked at the cabin you are staying at, and be kind to not park in front of another cabin's view of the beach/water if possible.
- REMEMBER: Our Cabins are on the beach, and some areas of our lot are sandy and can sometimes make it difficult for small or lower cars to park in some locations. If you have any concerns or difficulty upon arrival, please contact us for assistance.

Refunds (less a $25 cancellation fee per cabin) are only able to be issued in the case that the cabin can be rebooked for the duration of your cancelled reservation.

Relaxing location

Overall enjoyed our stay here. The cabins are right on the shared beach, and the cabins were older, but clean. We will stay again someday; it was a nice getaway!

The cabin is located in East Tawas Bay on a grassy/sandy beach next to a marina. Sunrise and sunset are beautiful. Checking in/accessing the cabin was somewhat challenging. We arrived after sunset; there is virtually no lighting; and there are no marked parking spots. Also, the code to the front door keypad was incorrect, so we had to call the office number to be let in. The cabin is very spacious, including a large kitchen. The cabin is clean and has many beds. However, the single bathroom is extremely small and cramped. The fireplace doors are damaged and require repair or replacement. The foundation has settled, and there is significant wood rot, resulting in some windows and the back door not closing properly. Nevertheless, the location was good; we were comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay.

Beach life

The beach, the view! Our family had a great time! The place is bigger then appears in photos. Beach is right there! Water is is clear and shallow, 6 yr old grandbaby loved it! Cabins are far apart, firepits for each. Table and chairs on the deck, your own picnic table. The room in the back of the house with all the windows, best spot in the house! The sun sets right in front of you, its amazing. Door to the deck is right there, morning coffee with that view! Our dog Lola gave it a paw up, she even met friends! Pack for sand, pack clothes that dry fast, shoes that slip on and off and enjoy

Enjoyed it immensely. Would like to see cottage updated a bit, but very clean and functional. Wonderful spot on the bay. Having the fireplace inside was cozy and wonderful.kitchen had the essentials.

2 night stay

We had a nice stay. We enjoyed the view of the bay and quietness. We had a nice bonfire one night and a fire in the cabin the next. 10 am checkout time seemed early compared to all the places we have stayed. Owner was quick to respond to questions and was very helpful.

Perfect!

We stayrd in Aspen cottage with 4 adults and 3 young children. The cottage was super clean, basically anything that you needed was provided regarding dishes, pots and pans, utensils, and linens. The beach was private and water perfect for the Littles since it was shallow. I would suggest maybe a detachable shower head to help shower the kids since there wasn't a bathtub, but no biggie. We will deffinen6ly be visiting again!

Beautiful views and the cabin was very quaint and cute! Spent a lovely weekend relaxing with no TV with my 11month old, fiance and 3 pups! Will absolutely love to stay again!

Great property

No complaints about this place. I would just mention that if you are looking for privacy, it's best to go off season. There are five cabins on the property which is maybe an acre or two, with no trees or bushes to break up the views into the next house. But the beach is beautiful, as is the view, and having the state park less than a mile away is great.

Great Views

Great property and fantastic location! It was very easy to find and close to shopping even though you felt you were in the middle of nowhere. Would definitely stay there again, especially in warmer weather. Another bonus, there was a state park within walking distance of the cabin.

Beautiful waterfront

Nice place...everything you needed was supplied. The bathroom was small for the amount of people it sleeps but that was the only issue. Also check out time of 10 am is too early.

Weekend getaway

The Aspen cabin is very spacious with a beautiful view and nice sandy beach. The owner was prompt in all communications and accommodating! Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Nice time

It was perfect for my family. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The beach was right out the back door. Water stays shallow for a while, which was nice with my little ones. Would definitely go back!

Perfect place for a weekend getaway

This cabin was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The place was clean and the views of the lake were awesome! The host was very responsive to our needs and I would definitely come back here again!
