We want to inform you that, per our rental contract and VRBO policies, the security deposit is refunded after check-out. We understand the importance of transparency, and we regret any confusion or delay in communicating this aspect to you. Rest assured, your deposit has been processed as per the agreed-upon terms. The cleanliness issues you experienced are not reflective of our usual standards, and we have taken immediate steps to address this matter. Changes have been made to our local management and cleaning procedures to ensure a higher standard moving forward. We have also scheduled a comprehensive maintenance period, during which we will thoroughly address and resolve any outstanding issues in the property. Your feedback has been instrumental in highlighting areas for improvement, and we want to assure you that we are committed to providing exceptional stays for our guests. Regarding the issue of black mold, we want to clarify that this is not an issue throughout the home. There was some mold growth in one bathroom due to a roof leak, and we have taken extensive measures to address it. The affected ceiling has been fully removed and redone, and the roof has been resealed to prevent any recurrence.
