The Place 2B is located in a new development, The Pines At Moutardier. 4 bedroom, 2.5 baths. Luxurious new home less than a mile from Moutardier Marina. 20 miles from Mammoth Cave National Park. Plenty of room to maneuver your boat and park your trailer directly in front of the house on the cul de sac. We have provided many amenities for our guests to enjoy. There is a large back porch with a fireplace, foosball table, and a grilling deck. We now have neighbors in the next lot and one at the other end of the road.
This development is deeded for short or long term rentals and full time residences.

This is the 3rd year we have stayed at this property. We love it. It is well suited for our family. This year we had 6 adults and 5 kids. Love the house, the screened in porch and the fire pit area.

Give The "B" an A

TPTB is perfect for a family lake trip. We had six adults, one teenager, two preteens and an infant. It is situated nicely in an area with plenty of trees for bird and deer watching. Only a half mile down the road to the marina for our pontoon day. The house is very spacious, clean and well-appointed with modern appliances. It seems everything has been thought of as far as utensils, pots and pans, soaps, towels and washcloths (plenty of each), even board games that we played, etc. are concerned. The front porch and screened in back deck were great for relaxing.This was our second stay at TPTB and I am sure we will be back again sometime in the future . It checks every box for us. There are no negatives.

Wonderful Stay!

The house was everything stated on the site and more. House was clean and the kids loved the games. We spent a lot of time on the enclosed porch enjoying the deer playing in the woods. Highly recommend this home.

Our family had an awesome time at this property! The home was exactly as pitctured. It was clean and very well organized. The owners provided everything we could have needed and much more. Our family especially enjoyed watching movies on the screened in porch, playing games, and relaxing on the comfy couches. The surrounding area was quiet, and we saw lots of wildlife in the yard. The location was perfect for visiting Mammoth Cave (about a 35 minute drive). We would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding Gathering Place

The house is laid out well There was plenty of space for a family of 9. The Foosball table and screen room were a big hit! We are planning to rent the house again!

A wonderful place

Spacious Home Close to Mammoth and Moutardier Marina

Great property! Clean and spacious. 30 min drive from Mammoth Cave and less than 5 min to Moutardier Marina. We used the large fire pit, grill, and foosball table quite a bit. Great place for families or large groups!

Very nice house about 40 minutes from Mammoth Cave

We very much enjoyed our stay at this house. It was nicely decorated, and the sofas were very comfortable to sit and relax at the end of the day! Kitchen was nice, appliances seemed new, and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Dining table only had 4 chairs, but the bar stools were the same height, so we used those as well. Also, there is a table outside that seats 6. Would definitely stay here again.

The Bees Knees!

What a perfect property! We stayed here during a recent visit to Mammoth Cave and we were blown away by this incredible home. The spacious and modern screened it back room complete with a TV, fireplace, sitting area, and large table was a big hit with our family. The house itself is immaculate and updated with a blend of comfort, charm, and modern touches. The rooms were extremely well appointed and no cost was spared to make sure everyone lived and slept in absolute comfort. All the supplies you could need were on-hand, and the little welcoming touches on arrival were a pleasant surprise. The communication with the owner was splendid. The property was easy to find, and in a new (soon to be) gated community. As for the title of this review, there’s a super fun “bee” theme to the entire home and you should take the opportunity to do a little scavenger hunt with the family and see how many “bees” you can find in the interior design of each room. We can’t wait to go back and highly recommend this property (even though we’d love to keep it a secret… but we’ll bee-have)!

Family boating vacation

Property was very nice! Well stocked and very livable. We had 5 adults and 5 children and the sleeping arrangements worked well. (We brought an extra twin blowup bed for the 5th child). Loved the screened-in porch and the outdoor fire pit. Plenty of room for everyone. We played games at the table during a rainy day. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, knives, and other needed utensils - and one of our guests is an Executive Chef who was very pleased. All in all a great place that we will likely repeat as guest.

Fantastic ... Comfortable ... Hideaway !!!

The beautiful home was furnished with everything making it as comfortable as if we were at home. This wooded hideaway was quiet and our family really enjoyed the back porch and fire pit. Being from Cincinnati, OH the location was great for our visit to Mammoth Cave and very convenient to Lake Nolin. We loved our stay and will definitely visit this Fantastic ... Comfortable ... Perfect!!

This house was everything we wanted, plus more. It was beautiful & had everything we could want or need. It was fully stocked, I’ve never experienced that when renting a house. Wendy was quick to respond, I will recommend this house to people going to the mammoth cave/ Nolan Lake area.

Perfect retreat off the beaten path

This was a perfect place for my family and my best friend's family to meet up for a weekend. The kids bunk room was a hit for all our littles and the screened in back porch was perfect for a little adult/children separation when needed. The house was very clean and cozy.

Perfect family get away.

This home is off the beaten path. Wendy was wonderful and sent us specific directions to the home along with pictures of where to turn so we wouldn’t miss it. She extended our stay by a day early because it was open and ready for our arrival. Upon arrival, the home was neat and clean. All appliances we needed were provided. There were ample dishes for 6 adults and 4 kids. We appreciated laundry soap and dish washer soap being provided. The bedrooms were spacious enough to add a pack and play in one for the baby and an air mattress in the other for a toddler. The preschoolers loved their room with bunk beds, which made a fun loft to play! The screened in porch was an added bonus, along with the front porch rocking chairs. We’d highly recommend. Wendy was open and prompt with all communication.

Mammoth Cave

We loved our stay. The house was clean and very comfortable. Several little touches to make our stay comfortable. Wendy was only a phone call away when we needed her. Beautiful county home with lots of deer and wild turkeys just outside our door. This home is about 20 minute drive from Mammoth Cave National park then it’s about another 15 minute drive to the visitor center. Beautiful drive.

This home has many luxurious features, including a walk in shower in the master bathroom. Double sinks in both full baths. USB charging in the kitchen island plug, and in the plugs on both sides of the king and queen beds. We have spared no expense in providing a beautiful and comfortable home.

There are many nearby attractions. The Moutardier Marina has dock rental available for guest who bring their boat. The Marina also has pontoons available to rent. Large screen TV in the living room and the back porch. TV in the Master bedroom.
