Hanalei Bay Resort overlooks Hanalei Bay from a tropical, lush 28 acres in Princeville. Beautiful ocean and Bali Hai views are everywhere on this property. Beach access is provided down a long, fair grade, paved path, and the resort staff offer convenient golf cart rides to the beach below. With four new artificial turf and two new hard courts as well as 6 new pickleball courts added to this world ranked tennis resort, everyone is sure to find their groove. Onsite restaurant, pizza oven, and coffee shop, concierge and fitness center, there is little need to ever leave!

This double studio unit with two bathrooms, kitchenette, and washer/dryer is great for a larger party accommodating up to 6 people! The kitchenette allows for some cooking options with the two burner cook top and microwave. It also has a toaster, blender, coffee maker and tea kettle. One king bed and two queen beds with two bathrooms and two spacious lanais, this unit is located close to the parking lot and resort amenities such as pool, hot tub, tennis courts and a fire pit seating area.

Perfect for active families

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view, the location, the service. Having two connected rooms side by side is absolutely amazing for families with kids. Keep their mess separate from yours :) . Kitchen is not big but enough to cook meals and the fridge is big enough for a family of 4. THE VIEW. Did I mention the view? Resort staff are available 24/7 by text and very responsive. Having two restaurants and a gift store (coffee shop / beverages) is invaluable. I had to be dragged out of the room to leave :). Yes the furniture is not modern but who cares when you have that view & service! Walk or take a golf cart to the beach. North side of Kauai is just something else. True tropical paradise. MAHALO.

Beautiful views

The property and the location were great. It fit our family of 5 well and there was space to socialize in one of the rooms with other family. Very close to the pool and stunning bay views. However we did see some of the other condos in the complex and this was one of the more dated condos that we saw, it could use some updates. Also was not super clean, the cleaners were still there when we arrived at 4:30pm.

A perfect vacation spot for a family of 5

We stayed in 1205/1206 for a week in early Aug and it was absolutely perfect. Both rooms are really large and the beds are very comfortable (I always bring my own pillow). Listing says mountain view, but you also get a view of beautiful Hanalei Bay in front of the mountains. It is the most beautiful view on all of the Hawaiian Islands in my opinion. People rush at sunset to the 1 Hotel Hanalei, but the view from our room was just as pretty. The mornings are spectacular watching the reflection of the sunrise change the color on the mountains was one of my favorite things to do. Normally we are on the go and spend very little time in our hotel rooms, but this view was so beautiful that we kept coming back to spend time there. Everything you need is provided. Plenty of beach chairs, coolers, and leftover snorkel gear if you aren't picky. You can also rent from cheap $5 a day from pedal n paddle in Hanalei if you need fins. The kitchen is small and the fridge is small but there is also a small fridge in the other room. We always had plenty of space for cold drinks, breakfast and lunch fixings. It has everything you need, toaster, blender etc.. The room is really close to the lobby (but still private) and you can park right below the room. Very close to Happy Talk, where you will want to go for dinners and cocktails. Free and plentiful ice in the ice machines and cold water in a dispenser in the lobby (until 6pm). The pool is so close to the room, but swim-up bar is closed.

Kauai 2023

Beautiful property. Beautiful beaches. Nice pool. Tennis coordinator Mary was so welcoming. My sister loves to play tennis and she asked Mary if she could play and Mary set her up with a doubles game. Even lent her a racquet. Whatever we needed the staff was happy to provide it for us. A place we would return to and highly recommend to our friends and family. Mahalo!

Great place

Our family had a wonderful time! The condo was clean. Slept 5 of us comfortably. Had boogie boards, chairs, coolers that came in handy for the beach. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Perfect for my group!

This property was great for our group! It was me and my fiancé and my brother and his wife so we each had our own space! It was exactly as advertised and even had a couple amenities that we weren’t expecting, like a washer/dryer, blender, toaster, beach supplies, etc. Everything was clean, the views were phenomenal, and we will definitely look into this property again for the future!

Everything We Needed

This unit has the most beautiful views. I will miss waking up every morning to such amazing beauty without even getting out of bed! The condo was very well equipped. Convenient location to pool, parking lot and lobby. We spent a lot of time on the lanai enjoying the views. Rainbows every morning right in front of our condo. A bit noisier than the condos that are further away from these things but not too bad All in all, it’s a very quiet resort. I think the views are worth it. Kitchenette and fridge were small but manageable and convenient to have. I felt the management company was easy to work with and would be there right away to help if the situation warranted. We loved staying in this comfortable unit and Hanalei Bay Resort. A bit of paradise!

Wonderful stay in heaven (with one issue)

Easy drive to the bay and other spots on the north side. Highly recommend! - one issue at check-in: we asked for early check-in since my wife was pregnant and we were a bit tired after travel. The person working at the agency managing this place told us the unit was not ready and cleaners were there. We were parked in front of it and waited, waited. At some point went up and realized the unit was closed and ready. Still, they never let us in until 4pm (we waited for 3hrs) and that woman was dodging my calls at 3pm... Really poor customer service from that agency and personnel. Very disappointing. The hotel management staff on the other hand was very nice and the rest of our stay was perfect. Really unfortunate. Highly recommend agency to look into this...

Good comfort and Phenomenal Views

Lovely stay. It was very clean and well maintained. Kitchenette was well stocked and the unit had all the extras needed to enjoy our stay. Pool floaties, Snorkels, Ironing board, Full coffee maker, etc.

My daughter was on crutches and we couldn’t enjoy much so we asked for a golf cart ride to pool. They left us standing there for 20 minutes in the parking lot on crutches and had to call a second time. Frustrating. Room set up was more like two adjoining bedrooms. I expected a two bedroom condo. The kitchenette had cabinet door falling off hinges and put a/c was leaking all over the room so we had to set up a bowl and towels to catch it. Management is very nice to deal with and even left us a welcome basket. I can’t say It would be my first choice in accommodations and I am hoping it was just bad luck and not the way it usually is. My expectations are a little higher for a family experience. This accommodates more like a hotel not a condo in my opinion. Perfect place for a honeymoon couple.

A locked closet containing the owners personal belongings has been f forced by a previous guest.

pleasant stay

The property is on the second floor of a 3 story building. It has a nice view of the grounds and mountains beyond. Little kitchenette with stove top, microwave and fridge along with some dishes. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning cold and for the most part clean and tidy for us. We did have a clogged shower that wasnt addressed before we left, so we could only use one shower. The washer was also mildewy and left our clothes smelling a bit. Otherwise, it was just what we need for our stay.

Nice resort, subpar dirty room

First the good, the view was amazing and 100% why I booked this place. The grounds are pretty and the staff are nice and the golf cart service mentioned in the previous review was nice to have b/c it is a steep winding way down to the beach. I knew the room would be dated by the photos which would have been fine if it had been clean. There was a chunk of long hair on the wall of one of the showers and clump of long hair in one of the beds. The floors were not clean, the lanai was full of sand and the room was dusty. I called Vacation Realty Hawaii twice and got VM, left my number and never got a call back. This was the contact that was indicated for me to call if the room was not clean. Since they didn't call back, I cleaned the floors, swept the lanai, dusted the place and just didn't use the bed with the hair on the sheets. As noted by the previous review from 2 years ago, the dishes are still a random assortment and the mugs had coffee stains. I am not one to write a negative review, but I was extremely frustrated that my calls were not returned and that the room was not clean. Completely not acceptable. I have never had this kind of experience before. There are definitely better condos in this location and I would highly recommend finding a better one.
