Awesome layout

We love the layout of this condo with the double wide patio and three bedrooms and bathrooms. Can tell it is a full time rental as the unit takes abuse year to year.

Absolute Paradise!!

Not enough great things to say about this facility and this condo! When walking into your accommodations you are immediatly welcomed to a spacious area that rivals the room in most houses. Two large bedrooms at the entrance with one having a bathroom attached. A closet to keep all your beach gear followed by another large bathroom. The master suite is the largest I've ever seen of any accommodation. The king bed is small in comparison to the room and the walk in closet is huge!! The on suite bathroom includes a soaker tub and shower. When walking into the living area, all curtains were pulled shut. When pulling back the curtains, you are met with PARADISE! The view is to die for! The patio area is large and inviting and being on the corner makes the views even better! The dining room and the living room provide excellent opporturtunities to enjoy the view from inside the condo and the full kitchen is set up with everything you need to make your own feast without leaving the room. The accommodation was incredible...but the facility took it to another level. Everything was clean and maintained through out the facility. We spoke to several employees and everybody was so kind and helpful. The pool area is very large and beautiful and the access to the beach was perfect. Crystal clear waters of the gulf awaited us daily!! The kids had a blast playing in the sand and the shallow pools between the sand bars. Wildlife is everywhere...crabs, fish, stingray and more were spotted in the shallow area near the shore. A highlight for our kids. The sunset can been seen perfectly from the beach and we were lucky to get several amazing sunsets while we were there. If you do choose to leave the facility, you will find several great restaurants nearby...may we recommend Stewbys! A few miles away, you will find restaurants everywhere. The Fort Walton downtown area is an up and coming area with some one of a kind shops and restaurants and Destin has anything you could imagine. All and all, one of the best rooms and facilities we have ever stayed in. If you are looking for a spot at the beach...this is the one! You will not regret the choice!!!

An absolute amazing space!

The ocean views were amazing and the room was beyond perfect for my family. My daughters loved the bunk beds & having their own space. The owners were wonderful & gave several recommendations. It was well stocked and spotless. I can’t wait to come back again!

Beautiful and spacious

The place had enough space for 7 and we weren't tripping over each other. This is a big deal for 3 generations with different schedules. The view was beautiful and we were very blessed to stay there. The table and chairs were bar height and not a good fit for our son in a wheelchair or or our toddler grandson, but we made it work. They had chairs for us to borrow to take to the beach. I brought one from home because I knew where I was spending most of my time.

Dirty, leaking washer

Upon check-in reported dirty sandy floors with hair, bathtubs with rings, commodes with black stains, and refrigerator with visible spills to Vacasa. Was told someone would be there to reclean but they were busy with other check-ins. The lady also said "it is the beach so there will be sand" I never heard from anyone throughout the stay. Beds were very uncomfortable with sagging. Will not be back. Very disappointed to spend so much for this condo.

The complex itself was nice. The grounds and pool area were well kept and very clean. The elevators and hallways were cleaned multiple times a day and kept free of sand and any trash. The view from our unit was wonderful and unit 303 had been updated. The appliances were new and in good working order. The furniture (indoor and outdoor) was also nice. The only reason I gave this unit 3 stars was housekeeping issues. Upon arrival some trash (empty yogurt and sticker from a shoe) had been left on the kitchen counter. The floors still had lots of sand on them. We take beach vacations often and I know you can’t get rid of all the sand but I truthfully don’t feel the unit had been vacuumed. We walked on the floors and our feet were black so it was obvious they hadn’t mopped the unit either. The refrigerator had a very strong odor of fish. I am sure a previous guest had likely been fishing and stored some fish in there that wasn’t sealed properly. I know it’s hard to rid a fridge of odors but I feel they could have attempted to wipe it out, air it out or at least place some baking soda in it to help rid the odor. I purchased 3 boxes of baking soda to try to improve the smell. There was also an empty chip bag and sunglasses that had fell off of a dresser in the bunk room and were obviously left behind but not noticed by housekeeping. There was some some sticky stuff (maybe a melted popcicle or some spilt drink) on the balcony that I would think would have been cleaned by housekeeping as well so that no one stepped in it and tracked it in to the condo. Overall the complex was really clean and well maintained and the unit itself was nice but needed some cleaning because it unfortunately appeared as though a housekeeper hadn’t come by to attend to the unit.

Great gulf views and very close to beach

Balcony and views on the beach were great. Linens clean and bedding comfortable. Glass sliding doors exceptional. Unit and maser bedroom right near beach service entrance and public beach entrance makes this less than ideal end of condo. Check in process was horrible. Trying to contact property manager for days and then waiting in hot garage for nearly 1 hr before door code finally located the given to us. Property needs a number of items upgraded/fixed: *stove needs replacement; burners uneven and not all worked *bring your own cookware - pans are old, marked up and stick *fridge filter and light need replacing *light in twin bedroom broken *bring your Google Nest or WiFi range extender - WiFi connectivity in twin and double bedrooms horrible.

Great Ocean-Front Condo

I loved all the glass windows that faced the ocean! The beach was awesome and was a closer walk than I thought based on the pictures. We never had a problem getting chairs and an umbrella. Great location that is close to grocery store, beach store, restaurants, and activities.

Convenient & Relaxing Beachfront Condo

Condo was great and convenient. Park on the 3rd floor level and you could walk straight to the condo - no elevators! Beach service for 2 came with the condo - no lugging chairs to the beach! The beach was a short walk and not crowded at all even on the 4th of July! The only thing that needs attention is the sofa bed. It was uncomfortable and springs were missing, so it’s likely time to fix or replace it. We had a great time!! Property management was awesome - all messages came through text and we didn’t have to interrupt our vacation to visit an office. They even sent out instructions for the 4th of July Firework viewing!

Very spacious & great view

Cleaning was marginal. Disappointing since we pay a fairly big cleaning fee. We had to wait 1 hour after checking in--was told not done cleaning yet!!! This was LATE afternoon. Kitchen: worn out blender, old 2 slice toaster takes forever, coffee pot old & didn't make good coffee. Fry pans all scratched surfaces. Not enough silverware. Knives in block are rusty. Plastic items are worn & should be tossed... Dryer in unit takes over 2 hours to dry a small load-had maintenance come to look--he suggested we put pantyhose over the vent as it must be clogged on the outside end, which he wasn't responsible for checking. Wow! The lint trap is bent/broken & the dryer is constantly full of lint on your clothes. Rugs: the area rug in the living room is gross--wasn't vacuumed before we checked in-very old & stained as well. The only other rug in entire unit was a small one in guest bath. It was so dirty and matted down-it obviously was never cleaned as well. Carpet is older and really dusty along all the edges & corners--obviously not really cleaned well. The bedding is all worn out. Big heavy comforters on all beds that you know are never washed in between stays. All the pillows & sheets & mattress pads are stained-gross. Need to be replaced. All pillows on the sofas are stained too. There are only 2 big old swivel bar stools full of old food crumbs & stains. Chairs at the table are the same way. Bathroom fans are extremely loud. Lights flicker in the living room & dining area-maintenance came to check & we were told they had to check with management ---we've never heard back from anyone. Wifi kicks you out often-We question how secure it really is. It took 1 month to get chairs on the balcony! Really! We've tried to find out who the actual owner is and keep getting the run around. We feel Resort Quest is slow to report things to the owner--at least we think that, because they keep telling us they are "waiting to hear back from the owner". As an owner wouldn't you want to know how your property looks??! The person in the local Resort Quest is very difficult to understand. Sorry. Positives: Beautiful gulf view & those windows were very clean when we checked in. A great supply of towels & washcloths in all bathrooms. Nicely decorated. Not so much clutter. Could be a really nice place-- if the owner would just replace items & get things fixed. Hire better cleaning service!!!
