This Waters Edge condo offers classic beach style living. Step out to the balcony from the living area or the master bedroom. This unit has televisions in the living area and master bedroom. The master bedroom offers the privacy of an attached bath with a Jacuzzi tub. This condo also has a private bath in the second bedroom with a third bathroom located in the hall. A fully equipped kitchen has a full size refrigerator with in-door ice and water dispenser, stovetop oven, microwave, and dishwasher as well as the basic cooking utensils and dinnerware for easy meal preparation. The dining room table will easily seat six diners with additional seating for two at the breakfast bar. For additional convenience, all bed and bath linens and stackable washer/dryer are also provided. Please be advised that Waters Edge is not a pet-friendly property.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Waters Edge views!

The beach is steps away! Great pool and staff - no doubt. Our condo gave us a few issues, toilets not flushing well - dryer not drying well, and a coffee table that was insecure. Of course - the beach conveniences made up for it!

Our beach stay

We really enjoyed the condo. It was clean and was easy to get to from the beach. You can get two chairs and an umbrella. But if you want to reserve for the next day to be in the front you will need to pay. There were 3 boogie boards. But if you want a chair to sit near the water make sure you bring one. I wish they had some things like coffee filters, salt and pepper.

Perfect location, not as busy as Destin

Perfect views and condo had everything we needed. Located outside of the craziness of Destin, but will much to do close by — Wild Willy’s mini golf and froyo, Gulfarium Marine Park, and food (Old Bay Steamer’s). Pool was large — never had a problem finding lounges, even at peak times. Covered parking, two complimentary beach chairs, and gym were also nice to have.

Fall vacation

We enjoyed our trip to Waters Edge. This was our 3rd time staying at this facility. This has been our favorite condo. The views were perfect for dolphin watching in the morning. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

Just what we expected and more

Supporting staff and contacting us before and after our stay. Very roomy with lots of amenities. Unit 417 is just right for the view of the ocean and the pool yet on the side away from the pool (in case someone does not want the noise).

Okay with an awesome view

Decent place with an awesome view. Smells stale, the blinds don't function, needs some deep cleaning in the bathrooms and in the jacuzzi (we were not able to use it due to this). The beds are on the stiffer side and the door doesn't like to lock when you shut it. Open up the patio door though and step outside and you will absolutely love the view and it will make everything all worth it!

Sont be fooled by the pictures

Location was great. Unfortunately, that is the only positive thing that I can say. The room is very outdated and could definitely use some upgrades. To start, the blinds in the master bedroom didnt work so sunlight is coming in at 545 every morning so hopefully you enjoy waking up at sunrise on vacation every day! The pillows on the beds are paper thin and we all woke up w necks hurting daily. The balcony has so much crammed onto it it's tough to live around and enjoy yourself out there. Finally, nothing was cleaned very well when we arrived. Maybe we are overly cautious with what going on in the country right now, but the main table was filthy, all theglass tables had hand prints all over them and the bathrooms definitely were not cleaned well at all. Overall we wouod not ever plan to stay or recommend someone to stay here.

Spring Break Getaway

Overall this was a great property. Great location, great beach, great restaurants nearby, lots to do for the family. The overall condition of the unit was great. The only downside was the kitchen lacking a few basic items, like hot pads and spatulas to cook with. Other than that we had a wonderful time and would love to go back!

The overall experience was good. I had absolutely no problems with the condo, the location or the stay, but I did however not like that the condos did not have a front desk or office on the property. Other than that it was very nice and I would use them again!

Dirty and poorly maintained

When we arrived the code on the door didn’t work so we waited outside for 15 minutes waiting for that to be changed. Upon entering we saw the front panel of the jacuzzi tub laying on the floor, maintenance came and fixed it. The comforters on the beds were spotted and dirty, the mattresses were old and very uncomfortable, the silverware in the drawer was dirty, the only clock in the place didn’t work. Maintenance came with a battery which didn’t fix it because the hour hand was stuck. He didn’t offer to fix it so my husband fixed it. Water started dripping from the ceiling in the kitchen pantry doorway, maintenance came and said it was the A/C and to just leave the pot on the floor we put there. Ridiculous. The final straw was the office calling to tell us on Monday early afternoon to move all of our balcony furniture inside so they could paint! We had brought my 80 year old mother on the trip and she loved sitting out there so that was not acceptable. Especially since the office had no idea how many days they would be painting. After talking to the office again and telling them how upset we were they moved us down to Azure, which was lovely and much better. Moving was not an easy task and made my mom very anxious and while we were happy to get out of Water’s Edge it was not an easy or good situation. The Jetty East where we stay a lot and were just there in May had let us know then that they would be painting now which is why we stayed with you. It is not right or acceptable that you booked us into that condo knowing that you were going to be working on it then and didn’t tell us. We spent a lot of money to stay there and the condo itself needs lots of help. I would not recommend Resort Quest by Wyndham to anyone based on our experience.
