Waterfront home for you and your furry friends.

Cottage on Lake Gaston with shallow water for wading, boathouse, and kayaks, floats, paddleboards & small canoe readily available. A pool and playground are available for guests 1-2 miles away.
Although the house is older, the kitchen was remodeled in 2021,bathroom updated in 2023, upstairs freshly painted, powder room redecorated in 2024, and carpets, draperies, etc. added very recently. You'll enjoy a large, covered porch with water view, new TV's in both family room and owner bedroom, and family board games added for the occasional rainy days. We also offer corn hole, for family fun.
The home is situated on a heavily wooded lot ,so a hardpack walkway to the water has been added for comfort.
Child gates are installed at top of spiral stairs, and home sanitized according to CDC suggestions.
A book of nearby attractions, restaurants, and safety suggestions is available.

Very well equipped and comfortable house. We enjoyed our stay and met other welcoming dog walkers in the neighborhood. Food Lion and Jenny’s Cakes bakery (fabulous!) are minutes away. The boat launch is conveniently located a few houses down. We had a great time!

This was our second year staying at this house and we loved it! Pat is easy to get ahold of and she's very helpful if you have any issues. The house is fully stocked with pretty much anything you could need and the lake front is amazing! We look forward to staying again next summer!

The home was clean and well equipped! The home is in a great community (Wildwood Point) and location on the lake. Loved the lake view from the porch swing on the dock. Enjoyed the kayaks. Patricia was an excellent host! She let us know that she was having the weeds treated around the dock. And that we could dock our boat at the neighborhood community area. And we loved swimming at the community pool with an amazing lake viiew.

Was my best Lake Gaston trip.....Fifth stay at this location and as with the first nothing but great marks. Two Houses away from Boat Ramp, close to main lake. Already planning my Fall visit. Perfect for my old dog (18yr old Beagle). Highly recommend this property Pat is Great!

Love this lake house

Always love staying here. We have now stayed 6 times. Highly recommend for a relaxing waterfront stay on lake Gaston.

Such a great location. Right on the lake but feels private since it's on the cove. Very quiet during the week; boat & people activity picked up on the weekend. Love the easy entry to the water and all the access to floats/kayaks/paddleboard. Nice to have grocery & ABC store so close too.

Once again, we had the best time staying here !!! The kids loved fishing off the dock and had a blast kayaking and kneeboarding in the cove. This location has everything we want in a getaway spot on Gaston, and Pat makes sure all your needs are well taken care of. Thanks for another wonderful vaca, Pat - see ya next year !!

Wonderful Stay at Lake Gaston

We greatly enjoyed this home! It was perfect for our family and two dogs. Everything was clean, and the location was close to the shops etc. we’d love to stay again!

Love this place

Kayaking on the lake, dining and grilling on the large covered porch, quiet protected cove, community amenities, and close to food shopping, a bakery (Jenny Cakes on the Lake) and even a few restaurants are just a few reasons why we love this place.

I have always wanted to own a B & B, and hosting this lake house is the closest we can get. We do our own cleaning and much of the maintenance between bookings and take personal pride in seeing that the home and property provide the best possible vacationing experience for our guests.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This is one of the few properties that welcomes well-mannered pets. We bring our own pets here and it adds to the family enjoyment .(and saves on boarding fees) We do request a refundable pet deposit of $350 which is refunded to you as soon as our cleaning is complete.
The property is on the water and only a few hundred feet from the boat ramp. There is a dock with several cleats to tie off guests' boats, but the beach is suitable for wading or floating.
Garbage pick-up service provided on Mondays
