Waterfront home for you and your furry friends.

Cottage on Lake Gaston with shallow water for wading, boathouse, and kayaks, floats, paddleboards & small canoe readily available. A pool and playground are available for guests 1-2 miles away.
Although the house is older, the kitchen was remodeled in 2021,bathroom updated in 2023, upstairs freshly painted, powder room redecorated in 2024, and carpets, draperies, etc. added very recently. You'll enjoy a large, covered porch with water view, new TV's in both family room and owner bedroom, and family board games added for the occasional rainy days. We also offer corn hole, for family fun.
The home is situated on a heavily wooded lot ,so a hardpack walkway to the water has been added for comfort.
Child gates are installed at top of spiral stairs, and home sanitized according to CDC suggestions.
A book of nearby attractions, restaurants, and safety suggestions is available.

Thank you Pat for another wonderful vacation! We always enjoy fishing from the kayaks and the ease of launching them from the shoreline. Our biggest catch of the week was a 34" cat fish caught on light tackle from our fishing kayak! The shady area and shallow shoreline is perfect for young children. The house is comfortable and a great location. Pat is always very helpful in ensuring you have a good time. We are already looking forward to returning in the spring!

Such a great location. Right on the lake but feels private since it's on the cove. Very quiet during the week; boat & people activity picked up on the weekend. Love the easy entry to the water and all the access to floats/kayaks/paddleboard. Nice to have grocery & ABC store so close too.

Once again, we had the best time staying here !!! The kids loved fishing off the dock and had a blast kayaking and kneeboarding in the cove. This location has everything we want in a getaway spot on Gaston, and Pat makes sure all your needs are well taken care of. Thanks for another wonderful vaca, Pat - see ya next year !!

First family lake vacation

This was our first lake vacation and we loved every minute of it! The house was so cute and cozy and came with all the things you could need. The waves to the lake was by far the best part. The walk in beach type area was perfect for our kids and dogs. The boat ramp was literally 4 houses away and the house is located on a culdesac. We look forward to booking this house again.

House and property were as advertised. We had a great time enjoying the lake and surrounding area. We brought a small boat, and spent a lot of time paddle boarding and kayaking. Super easy boat ramp access. Very clean and usable space in the house.

Butler Family Vacation

This is an adorable lake home. Our family (children and grandchildren had a wonderful time. It had everything we needed . Plenty of towels! Location is close to stores. Nice to dock our boat and jet ski at boat house. Shallow slant for children to play safely in water. Nice and cool downstairs for sleeping! We had all our meals on back covered deck! Thank you Pat! Definitely recommend this home!

Summer vacation

This property was beyond excellent. My husband and I brought 3 grandkids with us. We used the kayaks and the paddle boards that were provided. The kids swam and fished daily. They caught quite a few fish from the dock. We cooked meals and had dinner on the balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed. This was our second time renting this property and we will definitely be renting it again. It’s pet friendly also and our dog had a great time too!

Another Wonderful Vacation!

We've lost count with how many times we've rented this house! It's a comfortable home supplied with everything you'll need, located on a quiet cove and close to the Food Lion. There's a nice grassy spot with shade or sun by the water's edge where kayaks can be easily launched and young children can play. The view is beautiful! The back porch is also nice for meals and reading. This trip we caught several bream, shellcrackers, catfish, and bass while kayak fishing. Thank you Pat for being a great host and for providing Another Wonderful Vacation!

Great Fishing Week/Great House

I rented this house for my husband and his buddy for their annual fishing trip. He could not say enough good about it! He said the location was perfect, the house was immaculately clean and very well stocked with all the kitchen supplies, linens, etc., that you would need.Pat, the host was very responsive with any questions. My husband and his fishing buddy plan to rent it again for next years trip. I highly recommend this house, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect Spot

Quiet Cove just off main lake, boat ramp two doors down couldn't be any better. Great host, Pat keeps in touch if any issue comes up have stayed there a a few times and will again.

This is our third stay at this property. We love it here. It has everything you need for your stay. We come to Lake Gaston to fish and it never disappoints and the covered dock is a bonus! Pat is fantastic to work with and she makes you feel like family. We will be back, again.

Wonderful and relaxing

This is our third time staying at this lovely home. Right on the water and very close to boat ramp. We can bring our fur babies too. Owners are so nice and flexible. Everything you need is there. Kayaks included. We will be back.

Best rental at Lake Gaston!

We've stayed at this lake house for several years and it's always comfortable, clean and relaxing. The back porch is perfect for meals and fellowship and the lake side view is beautiful. We always enjoy using the kayaks and paddle boards. This trip we caught a few cat fish, shell crackers, bream and white perch while kayaking. Thank you Pat for another wonderful vacation! We look forward to returning in the spring!

Restful Retreat

The cottage met all our needs. The access to the lake was great. Enjoyed fishing and reading in the swing on the dock. The weather wasn’t the greatest but used time indoors to read and plan for fall. We enjoyed trip to Sylvan Bird Sanctuary. About an hour away

Clean Cottage Great Area

This cottage is magical. The perfect blend of a country cottage with all the modern conveniences in a great location. The entire cottage was spotless. Crisp sheets and bath towels were provided. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. There is a gravel walk down to the pier where we loved floating in the water and watching the sunrise each day. Check in and check out was well explained and all questions were answered. Close to Food lion for any items we needed. Loved our time staying here on the lake.

Nice Getaway

Host (Pat) responded timely when we had questions & seemed genuinely interested in helping us make the most of our vacation. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and it was clean upon arrival. The linens were fresh & looked fairly new. (We’ve stayed at other homes in past where that was not the case). It was nice not having to pack bedding & towels nor wash linens when we left. The house is small with only one full bath (downstairs) but it worked fine for us this trip. Seniors & those with small children or handicaps should note that all bedrooms are located downstairs & a narrow spiral staircase is the only back exit from the upper deck. Again this wasn’t problematic for us but it could be for others. We loved floating at the dock and the host supplied plenty of lake toys for us to enjoy. The covered dock was not wide enough for our small boat to enter but there was enough space on pier right beside it to dock our boat on water during our stay. Also, loading was easy since the boat ramp is located just a few yards away. We enjoyed spending time on the back covered deck & on the swing at the dock. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Thanks again Pat!

Wonderful Stay at Lake Gaston

We greatly enjoyed this home! It was perfect for our family and two dogs. Everything was clean, and the location was close to the shops etc. we’d love to stay again!

Love this Littleton getaway spot

Once again, had a wonderful time staying at Pat’s place. We love so many things about the property, including the easy and quick walk down to the water / dock area, use of kayaks and water toys, convenient neighborhood boat ramp literally yards from the house, huge outdoor deck right off living area with view of lake, and super comfortable and clean living area inside that includes a fantastic AC system that keeps up with the Summer Gaston temps. Thank you for your hospitality, Pat - you’re a wonderful host and we appreciate you !!

I have always wanted to own a B & B, and hosting this lake house is the closest we can get. We do our own cleaning and much of the maintenance between bookings and take personal pride in seeing that the home and property provide the best possible vacationing experience for our guests.

This is one of the few properties that welcomes well-mannered pets. We bring our own pets here and it adds to the family enjoyment .(and saves on boarding fees) We do request a refundable pet deposit of $350 which is refunded to you as soon as our cleaning is complete.
The property is on the water and only a few hundred feet from the boat ramp. There is a dock with several cleats to tie off guests' boats, but the beach is suitable for wading or floating.
Garbage pick-up service provided on Mondays
