Imagine yourself enjoying the incredible South Padre Island sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico from your large private balcony or enjoying a leisurely stroll along the beach just a quick elevator ride away. Located in a gated beachfront complex that is centrally located on Gulf Blvd, this remodeled condo directly faces the Gulf of Mexico and is tastefully appointed with upscale furnishings and decor that will never let you forget that you are at the beach.

The complex features a beautifully landscaped pool overlooking the Gulf, a private boardwalk to the beach, tennis courts, a basketball hoop, volleyball net, shaded outdoor seating located right beside the children's playground.

You are not far from the restaurants and nightlife of South Padre Island, so you may choose to dine out every night. However, if you choose to cook in and dine with a view, you will enjoy a kitchen that is fully equipped with everything you need. Windy, wet getaway

This gated property was lovely and well kept up. The pools and pool area was always clean. My only problem was with the elevator: the motor was loud and from our unit we heard it every time it moved, for 16 days! One day it was out of order and we had to walk up 12 floors!The unit itself was lovely like the pictures, but you could tell it’s age if you looked at the floors. It had a Well stocked kitchen and all appliances worked well.If we come back to SPI, we will most likely go through Padre Getaways again as they were very accommodating!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, loved the location. Clean, comfortable and quiet room, great kitchen and so close to everything. We will be staying here again!

Great space and location

We always stay in this building on SPI for the location, but top floor makes it even better. Everything was as described and worked great for our family. Only complaint is same as others have pointed out. check in/out process is a pain with a 1 hour window for check-in and having to go to the office to return keys. People at the office are very nice, but highly recommend a lock box or digital entry. Would also be a nice touch to provide 2 roles of TP per bathroom vs 1 and a few dishwasher pods vs 1.

Great Place

My toddler daughter up to this day says she wants to go back again to the house by the beach ‘is what she says’. She loved it and we did too. Our stay was short, only a weekend but we cooked there , and had fun in the park they have with the kids, the pools, the beach. The property was really comfy for a family of (4),welcoming, and clean we would def stay again.

Great getaway!

My husband and I needed a break from the Houston heat. First time in SPI and got so lucky finding this great unit. The view was outstanding. Unit was very well equipped. Beds and furniture comfortable. Sound of the ocean soothing. Have already reserved for our next stay.

Beautiful condo and perfect location on SPI

Our family loved this beautiful condo in Ocean Vista! It was immaculate and the top-floor views were stunning both bayside and ocean-facing. All appliances and facilities were great. We did get used to the noise of the elevator motor we could hear in the condo, but this was a minor issue for us. We loved the property’s very convenient access to the beach, the grocery store, restaurants, and the pool area was beautiful. The check-in process is the only thing that stands out as an area needing improvement. We were very grateful that the late check-in fee was waived as we encountered a nearly two-hour delay in our ETA from a traffic accident on the bridge to the island. A lockbox/keyless entry system is all we have encountered at any VRBO rental over many years. Having only a one-hour or two-hour window to reach an office for a typical weekend or holiday weekend key pickup is definitely a hassle that we would prefer to avoid. That being said, we really loved the property and would definitely consider staying again in the future!

Lovely condo, great view

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view from the 12th floor balcony was amazing! We could see the bay out of the guest room window as well. The condo was super clean and had just about everything we needed. The condo itself had easy beach access and the pools, hot tub, and playground were clean and uncrowded. Keys and check in were easy to acquire but you do have to stop by an offsite office to get them, and on weekends you have to be there between 3 and 4 which added a little extra stress to our arrival - keyless entry would be a welcome upgrade. The only things that would’ve made the place better were bath mats and better WiFi but we absolutely loved our stay!

Love the condo and location - hated the condo management.

The condo was awesome. I went to request umbrella rental was the condo manager was extremely rude. She told me that umbrella were only for owners, I asked if there were others to rent and she told me NO. Luckily 2 hotels over provided umbrellas and chairs for rent but it took me a day to find them and we almost just purchased a set up from Walmart. We go to beach to be ON the beach so for the Rental Management or the rude Condo manager not to be able to help with a solution was pretty sad. I did tell the Property Rental Management about this and suggested they inform future renters in your condo. With that said, we love the location and your condo- just not your Condo manager.

South Padre Experience

The condo unit itself was great and very clean. The parking and elevator situation at this property needs to be in better condition. One gate to parking lot not working and the elevators become ovens by late afternoon and when staying on 12th floor where this unit is, they are basically your only choice.
