Casa Mogambo, nestled in the rainforests of Manuel Antonio, is one of those rare vacation rental villas that has everything: Fantastic ocean views, a central location within walking distance to nearly everything, 3 acres of privacy and seclusion, and an abundance of wildlife within the surrounding rainforest.

The home is located along Pacific Canyon Drive, which is known for its high end vacation rental homes. Within a 5 minute walk is the main road to Manuel Antonio national park and Playa Espadilla—the area’s main public beach. Close by are numerous great restaurants, bars, shopping, a bank and even a butterfly garden. There are several beaches nearby, and a short drive takes you to Quepos and the Pez Vela marina.

Every detail of the home is gorgeous in its architecture and design, maximizing the ocean and rainforest views from every level. The home itself has three expansive levels: The main level with huge wrap-around balcony is dedicated to its spacious indoor and outdoor living areas, a beautiful ocean-view infinity pool, a breakfast bar, a full gourmet chef's kitchen with large center island, and one half bath.

The upper level, with never ending jungle and ocean views, hosts a gigantic ocean-view master suite with an en suite bathroom with freestanding tub and a private balcony along with a second ocean view master suite with en suite bathroom, an office and media room, and a private balcony.

The lower level has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large ocean and jungle view studio to meditate or practice yoga. The Ocean View Suite has ocean views, a private patio entrance and shares a bathroom with the Garden Suite which also has its own private patio entrance. The Jungle Suite has as a en suite bathroom and entrancing large jungle view.

The entire property is like a national park in itself. The long winding driveway leading to the home alone is spectacular, following a tiny creek across a bridge, and past old-growth trees and epiphytes. Because of the healthy surrounding forest, there are tons of animals: white-faced monkeys, squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys, sloths, toucans, scarlet macaws, iguanas, agoutis, porcupines, anteaters, deer and much more. From the terraces around the pool one can view the wildlife at eye-level, making it a paradise for nature lovers.

Our included concierge can assist you with setting up tours and activities that will pick you up directly at the villa -- or -- spa and chef services so that you never have to leave.

There is daily housekeeping, and also a caretaker who can assist with anything you need (including sloth sightings!). We are proud of our staff, and they take pride in their work. Casa Mogambo is ready to make your stay an effortless experience to take with you for the rest of your life!

PLEASE NOTE (as we want to set the proper expectation for a stay that exceeds your expectations) : As with many homes in Manuel Antonio, Casa Mogambo is built into the side of a steep hill. Our private gated drive is a quarter mile long, paved, winding, immersed in deep green gorgeous jungle, filled with wildlife and is steep in places.

Our long driveway allows you to get off the main road from noisy party houses, tour vans and motorcycles all day and night and enjoy the peaceful 3-acre sanctuary.

You WILL need to walk, run, dance, hike, use a rental car or 4×4 taxi to the main gate for outings. Tour vans will not come down the drive for pick ups as they have difficulty in going back up.

If you do not want to walk up the drive for excursions, our concierge can have a rental car delivered to the villa and/or call 4x4 taxis for any pickup that you need. If renting a car, you must have a proper four wheel drive (AWD or 4×4) vehicle.

Luggage service to/from the house and main entrance is provided on arrival/departure days.

- Unless allowed within the VRBO cancellation policy, we will not be able to move your reservation to a future date nor can we refund any payments that you have made.

- To maintain the integrity of our kitchen and readiness for all guests within our tight turnover windows, we do not allow the removal or replacement of provided housewares. We provide a fully equipped kitchen "as-is" and cannot accommodate custom configurations or the use of external cleaning methods that may damage surfaces.

-Maximum overnight guests: 10 Adults and 2 Children (sleeps up to 10 adults comfortably in 6 actual beds in 5 bedrooms; sofas/couches are not beds).
