The Space

Melt away into relaxation the moment you step inside this Balinese-inspired estate in the Montecito hills of California. On the property, feel a sense of spiritual calmness and intimacy. Buddha statues, lotus flowers, and delicately crafted furnishings give the space tranquility, while a gorgeous kitchen, picture-perfect bedrooms, and exotic bathrooms make the house feel luxurious and sophisticated.

As for the outdoors? A lush, beautifully kept backyard is the tropical getaway you have dreamed of losing yourself within, complete with a sparkling-fresh pool, quaint Balinese huts all surrounded by swaying palms.

You can feel the quiet seclusion of this estate or take a 10-minute drive into the beautiful and bustling downtown Santa Barbara.

Forget about your daily routine as you enter the Balinese-inspired home space complete with lotus flowers, buddha statues, and intricately carved fixtures.

KITCHEN & DINING

The gourmet kitchen is a foodies dream, complete with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and an abundance of room for entertaining and cooking. Share laughs around the large dining table seated for six, then relax outside and uncork a bottle while conversing late into the night.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

All of the three bedrooms are dreamy, large spaces full of natural light. A brilliant Primary bedroom complete with sophisticated artwork and a plush king bed, flat-screen TV, and fireplace, while a wall of French doors faces out towards the lush backyard.

The largest guest room has a king bed, TV, and connected bathroom, while the pleasantly-sized third bedroom has a queen bed.

OUTDOOR AREA

The feeling of serenity keeps going with the tropical backyard surrounding a crystal clear pool with ornate furnishings to relax by.

Additionally, there are four thatched-roof cabañas with a massage table, treehouse, outdoor bar, and a living room surrounded by palm trees.

Beautiful Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house and grounds are wonderful. It is truly a Balinese oasis!

Born in Santa Barbara and raised in Santa Ynez, California it was expected that Michelle Duckett would follow in her parents’ footsteps and take over one of the many the family businesses in automotive, real estate management, and development. However, her passion for animals in the tender years of her childhood, particularly horses, guided her down her own path. Michelle studied with anyone and everyone she possibly could to polish, sharpen, and craft her passion. She has studied and ridden just about every discipline from jumpers, Polo, Rodeo, and Cutting Horses.
However, her business and entrepreneurial spirit proved to be just as strong as her love of animals. At the young age of 8, Michelle began buying, training, and selling horses with her father. At 19, Michelle started working in the Automotive Business, which later led to running full spectrum trade show road crews teams, including the world’s greatest collector car auction company, Barrett Jackson. After years of travel, she decided to stay a bit more local, accepting a role as a Los Angeles-based Medium Duty Freightliner Dealership. Michelle became a prominent figure in the truck business, not to mention one of the only women in the industry, and soon decided to take her knowledge and start her own online dealership. With that came more freedom, as well as impending burnout. After 16 years in the Automotive industry Michelle decided it was time to switch gears and make some exciting, but scary life changes.
In 2014, a longtime family friend came to Michelle asking her to take over his vacation rental estate. The offer was intriguing, as she had knowledge and interest in rentals and real estate from her family businesses. Michelle quickly dove head first into learning this exciting and growing industry – from adverting, housekeeping, chefs, screening guests, down to thread count. She launched the business in May of 2015, and it was an immediate success. In Novemeber of 2015, Michelle acquired the manage
