Luxury Mountain Home with wonderful view of Whiteside mountain and hot tub !

Enjoy big mountain views of Whiteside Mountain at our spacious and secluded home just minutes from Cashiers and Highlands. Situated on 3 acres, our home has 3600 sq feet of decorated interior space, plenty of outdoor enjoyment spaces with upper and lower decks and a spacious screened porch for lounging and dining. Under 4 miles to Cashiers and 10 miles to Highlands, you are perfectly situated to experience the best of both worlds. NEW HOT TUB RECENTLY INSTALLED!

We have paid every attention to detail in the home, having just put in new hardwood flooring in bedrooms, renovated 4 bathrooms, and have meticulously decorated every inch of the home with a mix of high-end furnishings, including English and French antiques, some brought straight from France, where one of us is from! All custom textiles in each room keeping with a traditional mountain elegance feel. Brand new hardscaping and landscaping just completed with the renowned local landscape artist Mary Palmer Dargan adds perfect sophistication to the home and welcomes you when you arrive.

The house boasts 5 very large bedrooms, 3 with king beds, all with private en suite marble and stone bathrooms. The bedrooms all offer luxury bedding – Peacock Alley, Sferra, Pottery Barn – for that luxury hotel feel, and coordinated impeccable décor with custom window treatments and textiles in each room.

Our Chef's kitchen will inspire those who cook and be admired by those who prefer to dine out. Dining for 12 or more at our expandable table in the dining room or step outside on the screened porch and dine with 6. The kitchen offers new quartz counters, stainless appliances, 5 burner Kitchen Aid range, every pot/pan/gadget you can think of and plenty of dishware, serveware and silverware for large groups. Complementary coffee and tea. Outdoor you will find a brand new Napeleon 5 burner grill.

The home has satellite internet and Sling, YouTube, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. Please note that this is the mountains and cell service and internet is very spotty! Cashiers is a small mountain town. You will not get fiber speeds that you are likely used to at home, so we encourage you to do what we do - unplug and relax!!

We had a 5 Star stay at the Luxury Mountain Home from the moment we drove into the driveway! This house is beautifully landscaped, furnished and appointed, and everything that one could possibly need is provided . As you walk in the door , the majestic view of Whiteside mountain through the wall of glass doors to the rear greets you. The screened in porch was the perfect place for the little ones to gather, especially in the early morning to play while others slept . Bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and luxurious sheets which are much anticipated after days of hiking, riding horses, and the myriad of outdoor activities within a few miles of the home.We have stayed in so many VRBO homes that provided nothing in the way of kitchen and bathroom necessities but not so with this home . The kitchen is stocked with all that is needed for cooking, including spices and cleaning supplies .The bathrooms graciously have hand soap and lotion provided.The house is located a short drive from Cashiers and many of the favorite destination trails like Cashiers sliding rock and Whiteside mountain trail. The owners aim to provide their guests with a 5 star experience and they succeed in every way . We were even greeted with a bottle of wine and a welcome note upon our arrival ! They are quick to address questions and any issue that may arise during your stay .

Better than the pictures

This house and these hosts were top notch. The photos do not do this gorgeous property justice. They put so much thought into the house, from stocking the kitchen with all necessary dishes and cookware, to the decor, cozy blankets and even leaving a hand written note with a bottle of wine to welcome us. They were quick to respond about questions prior to the trip as well as during our stay and gave great recommendations. Not only was the inside of the house stunning but the view was unbeatable. We hope to take another trip in the future to enjoy this space. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Great weekend with friends

Four couples stayed for a quick weekend. House is gorgeous and the view is spectacular. Lots of space inside and out. Well stocker kitchen which was great because we cooker dinners. Quiet location with easy access to Cashiers and Highlands.

Wedding at High Hampton

The house was as beautiful as the pictures showed. The location was excellent. The mountain views were great. The owner, Sebastien, was meticulous and very helpful. Cashiers is only a few minutes away with plenty of nearby hikes. Everyone in my group loved it. I highly recommend it!

Perfect for our family reunion

Perfect spot for our 14 person family reunion. 5 bedroons/baths accomodated us comfortably. The large deck and screened porch provided a convenient place for us to gather while enjoying the majestic Whiteside Mountain. Set up a bean bag game on the deck. Ktchen was large, modern and well stocked. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Sebastien was always accessible for questions. Two things I shared with Sabastien that could make the experience even better was to provide an information binder with all the operating details of the home in one place rather that texts and to light the stone walkway down to the firepit. Very steep and dark at night. Minor points compared to all this lovely home and owner offers.

Weekend getaway for five couples

Very nice house in great location with awesome mountain view. Spacious, well-appointed, great kitchen, comfortable beds, easily accommodated 5 couples. Sebastian and Lauren are excellent hosts…clear communications and always responsive to questions.

Better than the pictures!

We have been renting homes in the mountains of NC for years. This was our 7th rental — and the best one! Every positive review is true, every picture better in real life than it looks on your screen, and our expectations were exceeded. The beds were the best we’ve had in a VRBO, and the home could not have been better appointed in decor or thoughtful details. The location was extremely convenient to Cashiers and Highlands and wonderful trails. Communicating with Sebastien was a pleasure. He was always kind and very responsive. We are already planning our return and cannot recommend highly enough!

Perfect! We had a family vacation and everything was wonderful! Beds very comfortable! One of the cleanest and most well taken care of properties we have visited. Deck was huge with an incredible view. A screened in side deck was great also. We had awesome trip and hope to be back!

Beautiful Cashiers Home!

Beautiful home close to Cashiers with an exceptional view of Whiteside Mountain. I went on a girls trip with three friends and the bedrooms were equally pretty and comfortable. The owners could not be nicer and communication is excellent. Check in was a breeze. We enjoyed hiking, the nearby waterfalls, a private yoga class at a nearby yoga studio, and many delicious meals in Highlands. If I could give this home 10 stars, I would. I can't wait to return!

Cashiers Vacation

Upon arriving, the home owners sent us a text with many things to know before we got there. One of the things mentioned in the initial text was that “we have had a lot of issues in the past 12 months” and asked that we treat the home like our own. A couple days into our trip the home owner asked if he could stop by with his general contractor to see the house and we welcomed them in. A couple days later the water in the house was not working. We texted the home owners and they asked us to try a couple things. With no luck he was able to get his handyman to the house that evening. An hour later he was able to fix the problem and we had no more issues. We were without water for roughly four hours. We felt we were very respectable and understanding of the matter. During our stay we had ants in the kitchen, which the owners must have been aware of because there were a number of TORO ant baits around the kitchen. We also killed a number of spiders and crickets and a roach. We followed all check out procedures, however, upon returning home we were charged with a bill for a small inch long rip in one king sheet and a hole in the towel. The texts from the home owners once we returned where very unfortunate to read given how well we felt we treated their home. I have included the list of things above, as they were not issues at the time, but since we were asked to pay for a small rip in a sheet and towel, that cannot be confirmed was from our group, we wanted to share our full experience with others who are looking to book this home. Unfortunately I am not able to provide the amount they asked us to pay in damages, but replacing a whole king bedding set and towels is not cheap. Had we knowingly damaged an item we would have had no issues reimbursing them. We really enjoyed this house and we were hoping to make it a yearly trip. We know there are a number of wonderful homes in the area and look forward to renting in a nearby location next year.

Enjoying the fall foliage!

Well appointed house and very accommodating for 4 couples. Cozy and private with beautiful view of the mountains from the large deck. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Enjoyed our visit and hope to return again.

Great mountain house in Cashiers NC

This is a wonderful, lovely and spacious house with beautiful views of Whiteside Mountain. We had room for our family of 12 and the bedrooms were comfortable and large. There are many nearby great options for hiking and waterfalls as well as close downtown shopping and restaurants!! We definitely recommend!

The High Ridge House Delivered!

This property is as close to perfect as a rental property can be. First, it was much closer to the town of Cashiers than we had estimated, just a short 10 minute drive, and if you've ever been to the area, you will know how close 10 minutes really is. Second, the house afforded us all of the amenities of home and then some. From the high-quality, comfortable decor to the kitchen that had everything one could need to the beautifully landscaped lot, this house had it all. You can tell these owners take pride in their property. The view of Whiteside Mountain, framed by the natural tree line above the limelights in full bloom, we determined just had to be fake it was so picturesque. The house perfectly accommodated our party of 12 (7 adults, 5 children between 8-16) with large bedrooms and bathrooms and plenty of living space indoors and on the porches. The spacious kitchen gives multiple chefs room to maneuver and plenty of wares to ply their trade. If privacy is a concern, the lot is down a narrow drive with houses on either that you don't even know are there. We intentionally did not watch TV the entire week, but the wifi was adequate to stream music and support our many devices. Our host communicated proactively before, during and after our stay and was very responsive to any message we sent. All in all, I would highly recommend this property and host.

Fantastic home

We had a great experience with this house and the owners. They communicated so well and everything very organized. The view of whiteside mountain from the deck is awesome. The house is a short drive to cashiers so the location is great. Highly recommend this home.
