Esta casa está ubicada en el lago Glenville, con fácil acceso al lago y muelle. Lago Glenville sienta en aproximadamente 3.500 pies de altitud y está rodeado por las montañas Blue Ridge. Las puestas de sol son hermosas y se pueden disfrutar en el muelle o cuatro cubiertas.

Great spot on the lake

Papillon is a large and very accommodating rental for adults as well as children. The owner was very responsive and very helpful. Our family absolutely loved the location on the lake, the lake activities, and the large, very clean rental. We definitely want to rent again in the future.

Terrific location! Property is well manicured, house spotless, linens top of the line and comfortable mattresses. Kitchen is well supplied with cooking equipment. We loved the fire pit and the dock. The kids swam, fished and sun bathed. One night s’mores were on the menu. The temperature and humidity were a cool blessing.We went to Silver Run Falls and the kids had a blast even tho they got chilled. Overall, a great vacation, enjoyed by all.

wedding weekend in the mountains

We had the best time staying at the house. It's spacious, and had everything we needed for our stay with family. The boat dock, fire pit, hidden room for the kids, lots of deck seating, and a terrific view of the lake were all highlights.

Stunning view

This was the perfect place for us. The water was just deep enough at the dock for my father in law to get us on his pontoon and I’ll miss waking up to the incredible sunrises and lake views. The home had everything we needed and the owner was responsive and helpful.

Wonderful Long Weekend

The house was beautiful and the location is excellent. Very clean, with just enough to keep us entertained. Close to Cashiers, to make running to Ingles Grocery Store convenient. Lake was perfect and the boat rental beast, just rent early. Hostess helped locating boat rental. Highly recommend this VRBO rental.

Excellent views and house

We had a fantastic stay. We loved waking up and walking right out to our boat at the dock. The house was great for our 2 families. There were master bedrooms on each of the top 2 floors and and the bottom floor had 2 bedrooms which was great for the teenage kids. They had their own “apartment” with a private kitchen and family room. Each floor has a balcony with great views of the lake. They also have a great fire pit out back on the lake. We loved learning about all the antiques in the house.

Excellent stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. We were a bit surprised that it was a multi unit property, but it was still a great layout and plenty of room on each floor to spread out. We really enjoyed the fireplace! The hosts were very thoughtful.

Beautiful Location

What a wonderful house in such a beautiful location. House was more than a great place for a late summer retreat with the extended family. It was super clean, has a huge kitchen, awesome bedrooms, and an unbelievable view. We even had a bald eagle visit us a few times! The property owner was amazing and always responded promptly.

Amazing Thanksgiving

Our family had a great time visiting this place for the first time. House was fully equipped. Even though it was cold the kids were able to enjoy outside. We did a fantastic hike and we were able to see few waterfalls. I will definitely recommend this place! Thank you

Great house!

Great property- clean and nice to have 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms. We had 3 families here and the girls (aged 11) had the entire downstairs to themselves. Perfection!

Beautiful location right on lake, comfortable and well appointed home

Wonderful setting on a blissful lake, with a well appointed and beautifully decorated home. It is a duplex which means you will roll the dice on how quiet the other family is immediately next door. The furniture and beds are lovely and our family of 7 was very comfortable. Only issue for us is that the cleaning staff wasn't complete when we arrived after 5pm, but it wasn't a huge deal. Owner was responsive and cares that you are happy.

This is the second year that we’ve stayed at papillon - and we will probably do so again next year. The location and the house are wonderful and the owner/manager is considerate and accommodating. It is a five star experience.

Town and Country

If your group likes to be near town and things to do, shopping and eating or in the Country, Lake, trails and waterfalls then you must stay at this house. Three level house with enough space to keep families together and provide privacy on each level.

Great Thanksgiving at the Papillon Cashiers, NC

We loved our stay. The house is very roomy. My husband and I had the master bedroom suite upstairs with a sitting room and small bar for coffee. Very private. We had a lot of family in the area. It was nice to have 2 kitchens to cook and get the meal done at one time. The grounds are very nice. The house is on the lake so we know it will be a perfect place to be with family in summer. The owner was very gracious and very willing to make our stay enjoyable. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Beautiful mountain retreat

My family and I enjoyed a fantastic weekend in Cashiers attending our niece’s wedding. We had a great reunion seeing family we haven’t seen in awhile. I highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in the Cashiers area. The house was very clean and was large enough to serve as our home base for the event.

Not a happy end

It is a shame we rent this property with the hope of having a nice place, from the first day we claim to the owner the lack of cleaning. After we finished our stay we left the place as we found it, to our surprise the owner with any notification submit a claim with a list really Incredible only based on the comments of the housekeeper we complain about the cleaning. We rent in NC every Christmas never had a problem. Stay away from this owner, there is a lot of properties in this beautiful area. Pedro Bazán

IT IS A REAL SHAME THAT A TENANT CAN BE THIS MISLEADING.....ESPECIALLY WHEN HE WAS GIVEN IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE AND ATTENTION........AND SENT SEVERAL TEXTS ABOUT HOW BEAUTIFUL OUR HOME IS AND HOW THEY MISSED IT SO DEEPLY AFTER THEY LEFT. UNFORTUNATELY, THE HOUSEKEEPER FOUND SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH DAMAGE......PHOTOS DOCUMENTING THE DAMAGE. WE WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS FROM ANY TENANT AS WE WANT OUR HOME TO BE WELCOMING AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR THE NEXT TENANT. ANYONE INTERESTED IN MORE INFORMATION IS WELCOME TO CONTACT US.

beautiful private home

Nestled in a private neighborhood overlooking lake Glenville this home was spacious, inviting and accommodating. With its own private dock, we were able to bring our boat and other various water toys and felt this retreat was home away from home. Only a few miles from cashiers, where grocery, coffee shops, devine boutiques, art and antiques shopping and yummy eateries can be found! Owners were very accommodating and quick to respond to any inquiries about the property! Cant wait to go back!

Lots of space!

Description of the property was accurate and the owner did respond quickly to questions. Four children and significant others with their children (8 adults, 4 children, 1 baby). We never felt like we were on top of one another. Loved the three decks. One couple had to share two twin beds in downstairs bedroom, and we moved the three kids to the large couch on the same level. Cute secret room for the kids. Bring your own spices😄Wildlife around (raccoons/bear) at night looking for garbage. The beach area with dock was great for the kids but plan on getting plenty of exercise going up and down all the steps to get there! Only two parking spots at the house but had no problems parking in the Adjacent Club Parking area. " Papillion " is attached to another rental home "Briarcliff". That owner allows pets. When we were there, two large dogs were left out on the deck and barked at everything. Had a nice week overall!

WE PURCHASED THIS HOME AS WE LOVE, LOVE , LOVE THE LOCATION RIGHT ON THE LAKE WITH EASY ACCESS. AS THIS IS IN THE MOUNTAINS MANY OF THE PROPERTIES AROUND LAKE GLENVILLE SIT HIGH ABOVE MAKING IT VERY DIFFICULT TO ACCESS THE LAKE. WE LIKE CASHIERS AS IT IS MUCH MORE LAID BACK THAN HIGHLANDS YET HAS MANY EXCELLENT RESTAURANTS, WINE BARS AND HIGH END SHOPS.

WE HAVE A SECRET PLAYROOM FOR KIDS UNDER THE STAIRS THAT IS FUN. AS THERE ARE TWO FULL KITCHENS IT ALSO MAKES IT IDEAL FOR TWO FAMILIES WHO WANT TO VACATION TOGETHER BUT HAVE SEPARATE AREAS. THERE ARE TWO WASHERS AND TWO DRYERS FOR YOUR USE. YOU ARE WELCOME TO BRING YOUR OWN KAYAK, CANOE AND OTHER WATER TOYS. WE WANT YOU TO MAKE FAMILY MEMORIES HERE.
