This is a classic Kiwi holiday home — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for slowing down together. Enjoy sweeping views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains, with mornings spent over a cuppa and evenings watching the light fade over the lake.



Just a relaxed 20-minute walk to town, it’s close to everything yet still feels like a true family getaway.



The Space

This is a two-storey family holiday home with classic bach character and a relaxed, homely feel. It’s a place to slow down and spend time together, with big lake and mountain views. Queenstown Gardens and the town centre are both within walking distance.



Layout: The house is over two levels. One bedroom is on the lower level, and the other three bedrooms are upstairs, reached by an internal staircase.

Bedrooms: Four bedrooms, two with lake and mountain views.

Bathrooms: Two bathrooms, both with walk-in showers.

Living areas: A cosy open-plan living area with a fireplace and heat pump for cooler evenings.

Kitchen: A well-stocked family kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine.

Balcony: The deck has four chairs and looks out over the lake. On the entrance side of the house there is an outdoor table with six chairs and a yard.

Bedroom 1: Double bed (upstairs)

Bedroom 2: King bed (upstairs)

Bedroom 3: Two single beds + trundle mattress (upstairs)

Bedroom 4: Double bed (ground floor)



Guest Access

Guests have full use of the property — kitchen, lounge, bedrooms, bathrooms, and balcony.

Other Things to Note / Good to Know

Stairs: internal and external: External stairs from driveway; internal staircase to second level

Water: Runs on a hot water cylinder (2 tanks here each 180L) with a set amount, so larger groups should space out showers. If the hot water runs out, please allow 3–4 hours for the tank to reheat

Power: Running too many appliances at once may trip the power

Fire alarm: Sensitive, so please take care when cooking and have the extraction fan turned on

Extra linen and a mid-stay clean are available for a fee.

Baby Bundle (portacot, high chair, baby bath) is available on request for NZD $50.



Please make all requests at least 3 days before arrival — later requests incur an additional NZD $10 call-out fee.



The first round of amenities is complimentary. If you're staying more than 5 days, we'd recommend picking up extra during your stay.



House Rules

Maximum of 8 guests, with children aged 0–2 staying free.

At least one guest must be over the age of 22

No pets, parties, or smoking/vaping indoors — and please, no glitter

This property is in a residential area; quiet hours run from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
