Excellent value for the price! Was as advertised. This place is perfect for two families. Place was clean. Everything was comfy. Master had a new bathroom. Everything worked. I highly recommend!

Great Eagle river cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Very nice property with plenty of room. Clean sheets and towels. Very well maintained property! Management contacted us on the day of our arrival and were available throughout our stay. Too cold to use the 3 season porch but would be lovely in the warmer months. Overall had a great experience.

Beautiful home on Catfish Lake. House is nicely decorated. Advertised to have 3 bathrooms, one was currently missing a toilet. The only concern was the 80 stairs from the house to the lake that we didn’t know about prior to our arrival. Property management was very responsive to questions.

Family getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was in the perfect place. The long stairway to the lake was a negative for older family members. The property was as described. We had plumbing issues which apparently are ongoing. This made one of the bathrooms off limits as far as the toilet was concerned. I think this should have been brought to our attention prior to renting. The property was clean with the exception of the screened in porch. It had not been cleaned. We did not think that the property manager was very good at communicating with us.Other than those few issues, we enjoyed our stay very much.I would recommend this property to a friend but only if plumbing issues are resolved.

We are happy to report that the plumbing issues at Catfish Cousins have been fully resolved!!!! Good old Mother nature caused tree roots to grow into the plumbing pipes! They pipes have been repaired and replaced throughout!!!! No more plumbing problems at Catfish Cousins!!! Thank you for making due down one toilet> We appreciate you!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself was very nice. We really liked the layout and the screen porch. One thing to be aware of before you consider renting this property ,the stairway to the lake is 72 steps and not in that good conditionOur first morning there there was a huge storm. No one can control the weather but we really needed additional support. With a loss of electricity we had no running water. The biggest water issue was that we were unable to flush the toilets. We spoke to the Rental company a couple of times and they told us we could always take a bucket and get water from the lake to flush the toilets We told her we did not have a bucket. Also,it would be a difficult task to go up and down Im sure the public health department would have something to say about nine people in a rental with no way to wash their hands or flush a toilet we were also unable to drive our cars out for about 4 days due to fallen trees and downed electrical wires, blocking the driveway I’m sure they could’ve helped us finding a ride into town so we can get supplies, especially for things like flashlights in hand wipes. Luckily, there was a very nice neighbor we made friends with that helped us get into town to get supplies like drinking water and hand wipes. We would’ve really been in poor shape without that.We have attempted to contact the rental company a couple of times since to discuss compensation and have gotten no return communication. We rent in the Eagle River area at least three times year. I would never use this company again. They had absolutely no concern over our well-being.

The house was perfect for our family vacation because it was flexible for both babies and dogs. We loved the screen porch and the air conditioning was a big plus given the unexpected heat wave during our stay.We did experience a problem with overflowing (and fragrant) trash that was there from the prior guests. But the management team did eventually take care of it.The kitchen was well stocked with plates and the needed utensils and the extra propane tank for the grill came in handy when the tank ran out on our first night.They might want to consider providing more paper goods. We needed to replenish paper towels since one roll didn’t last long. Lack of bath soap was a minor nuisance also, but we brought our own.We would definitely stay here again.
