Indy 500 Stay

The place was easy to find, had easy and plentiful parking, was clean and comfortable and was so close (2.5 miles) to the Speedway. We would stay here again.

Nice home!

Exactly what I needed for a short stay. Host was very nice, easy to contact and answered my questions quickly. Perfect if you are traveling with pets, fenced in front/back yard! Cute clean home in a quiet neighborhood, will book again!

Experience was pretty okay a little messy when we arrived but other than fine!

Definitely would have appreciated it if you guys followed the rules and not have a party and unplug the cameras. That was not okay. Also puked on the blankets and left the floors extremely sticky and nasty. Also refused to pay the extra cleaning fees. Unacceptable

Just like home

We arrived later than expected and the property owner was so nice. We drove over 12 hours so it was so nice to arrive and relax for a bit and then be able to go to bed. The home was clean and had everything we needed. I was able to make breakfast for us each morning before we would leave out for the day, we would get back late each evening and relax watching television and then off to bed. We were within12 miles of where we needed to be which was so nice, and will be back next year, will definitely rent again.

Quiet clean stay

Overall we had a great experience staying at this home. My concern was that there was a blue tarp on the roof when we pulled up that we were not told about. There were no leaks which was the concern of seeing a blue tarp on the roof. The home was extremely clean and comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet.

Family vacation

Not in a good neighborhood. Not very clean. Other than that the bedding and towels were clean. Plenty of kitchen items. It served its purpose for a place to stay for the night.

Unfortunately, we cannot control what our neighbors homes look like. I’ve tried to call someone to come out but nothings been done. Furthermore, we would have appreciated it if you cleaned up after yourself as the instructions stated near the entrance (Dishes left in sink, food/crumbs all on the living room floor.)

First time ever using

I loved the house and the shower was great. It smelled like stale smoke when we got there. The location was pretty diverse and close to a lot of stuff. 20 to 25 minutes to the downtown area. Which I thought was closer. Really enjoyed my stay until I was charged a cleaning fee for the house supposedly smelling like weed smoke which I or my partner did not smoke of any kind as we do not smoke. After arguing over messaging with owner and having him contact VRBO I paid the cleaning fee just cuz that is the kind of person I am. The owner said maybe it was the person of color that was with you that smoked weed which made me feel a kind of way, that he was saying cuz he was a person of color it smelled like weed. I truly did love the place and enjoyed my vacation but the owner has now ruined the experience for me.

I never ever once said “person of color you were with” that was totally uncalled for. Sounds like you are trying to ruin the reputation of the home. The house was definitely smoked in, why else would there be ashes from an incense, to cover up the smell. I hope you’re honest with the next person you rent from.

Not the best experience

The home itself was nice, however it was clear that it hadn’t been completely cleaned beforehand. The master bedroom smelled like cigarette smoke and the blankets nor pillowcases had been washed. Someone left an dirty towel hanging behind the bedroom door. My kids didn’t sleep in the bunk beds because they said the linen did not smell good either. The tv in the living room doesn’t have anything to watch on it and I had to relocate the fire stick from the tv in the master. The tv in the kid’s bedroom didn’t work either. Not sure I’ll book through Vrbo again

Sorry for the inconvenience. It was a mistake by our cleaning crew that doesn’t usually happen. Also, we have another fire stick coming. Just happen to be bad timing for your stay. Hope you have a better experience next time. Good luck.
