We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The layout of the house is great, with a lot of space for everyone to hang out in a common space. The hot tub, pool, and basement games kept everyone busy!

Beautiful home located close to Warren Dunes State Park for beach fun and sunset views! Elizabeth was a wonderful hostess. The kids enjoyed the yard, the pool and the hot tub. Sets close to highway that can get you quickly and easily to other beach towns. We will definitely be back!

Great stay

My family stayed at the house and had a wonderful time. The pool was a big reason we chose the house and it was just perfect for my kids. Couldn’t ask for a better location either! Looking forward to staying there in the future!

Home was clean and taken care of. Property has all the necessities for a relaxing stay. Location allows for several different activities from food, drink, activites and the dunes/beach.

Good family beach house

We love southwest Michigan and love the lake and Sawyer. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the pool. It was way bigger than we expected! The living space is huge and perfect for family meals.

Relaxing Summer Retreat

Willow Dunes was an exceptional place for our family to get away, relax and recharge. This home is in proximity to everything SW Michigan has to offer; Beaches, family fun, good restaurants, exceptional ice cream, Dunes and if you want to stay in - the pool, jacuzzi and basement game room provide hours of enjoyment. The owner is exceptional and super responsive and anticipatory to anything you may need to make your stay more comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and will be back again for sure. Highly recommend Willow Dunes for a home away from home.

Michigan retreat

We loved everything about this property. The house is great for vacation entertaining. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The yard is amazing with the huge pool fire pit and patio. The host is also very responsive to any problems. You might have. It was the best rental experience ever highly recommend.

Every part of the process from booking to leaving the property was made very easy by the property owner . We even accidentally locked ourselves out and vrbo had no issue contacting the owner ( my phone was left inside ) The place is a clean and welcoming place to stay ! Wanting to visit again :)

Birthday weekend

The house was perfect for all of us. Plenty of space for all and lots to occupy our time. We spent evenings in the comfortable kitchen area playing games. The hot tub was an added bonus. We will recommend the house to others and hopefully be back. Love this area!

We had a fun filled week staying at this location. There was alot to do in the area. The week was very hot so we took advantage of the pool and the hottub when in cooled down at night. Elizabeth, the owner was very responsive with any questions that we had and even provided a detailed packet of information prior to our visit.

Clean spacious house close to everything

This house did not disappoint! House was clean. Lots of room to spread out. Close to different things. We would absolutely stay here again! Elizabeth was great to work with! They accepted our dogs. Yard has lots of room. Hot tub and fire pit were great!

Great week away!

This house was perfect for a week away with three children and a dog! The pool was a huge hit! Very well maintained and refreshing with plenty of floats and room for the whole family. We enjoyed the outdoor seating for our meals and the fire pit was perfect for evening fires. Great proximity to the Warren Dunes, as well as shops (ice cream and antiques, our favorites!), several nature preserves with hiking trails, and a little “fun park” for kids (go-carts, bumper cars, mini golf, etc). The house was a great size for a family to spread out and everyone thought the beds were comfy. Plenty of games and books for a rainy day. Elizabeth is a wonderful host!

The property was as listed and more. Everything you needed was there. It was clean and homey. Meijer was just down the highway. We drove to New Buffalo, 20 min ride, ate at the Stray Dog. OMG the food was very good. I was disappointed it wasn’t warm enough to use the pool. Maybe next time because there will definitely be a next time.

Something for everyone!

This was our second visit to this lovely home and it's still an amazing place to stay. There's plenty of room to spread out…one group could be cooking in the GIANT kitchen, another playing pool/ping pong in the basement, or relaxing in the hot tub. The more outdoorsy folks could make s'mores around the fire pit. The jumbo dining room table was more than enough space for me to work and my friends to have lunch. I'm honestly not sure how anyone could come up with a negative comment. The place is spotless, with amenities for days. I'd go back in a heartbeat…and we weren't even there when the pool was open!

Great house!

House was super clean and stocked with everything needed to make your stay comfortable. Hot tub, pool table and ping pong table were super fun for our 10 year old. Pool also looked great just too cold for us to use in December. Inside fireplace and outside fire pit were great to have during the winter months and easy to use. House is decorated super cute with lots of modern touches. Owner easy to communicate with. The house is 2 minutes away from the Warren Dunes and located between several cute towns along the coast of Lake Michigan. A great property!

Great Michigan Escape!

We had such a great time with our stay. The house is nicely redone and has so many great amenities. The kitchen was fully stocked for all of our cooking needs and such a great spot to hang out inside the house. We loved using the fireplace made for a great atmosphere. The outdoor amenities are awesome! The covered patio was great to hang out in and the fire pit and hot tub were such a highlight. Although the basement is not finished it is set up so cute and a great space to hang and play. Made it feel like a little clubhouse. Can’t wait to come back in the summer with our kids to enjoy the pool. And maybe even another couples trip if we are lucky.

Cozy home with great ammenities

Beautifully updated home! Lots of fun at the house- ping pong table and pool table in the basement. Hot tub in the yard is well maintained and clean. Big pool in the yard, obviously we couldn't use it as it was chilly but it is well maintained. We enjoyed the bon fire pit in the yard, as well as the cozy fireplace in side. Beds super comfy too! Lots of delicious options for take out near by, but also kitchen had all the tools you'd need to cook at home too. Host was so responsive, and really wanted to be sure we had a great stay. We cannot wait to return!

A Quiet Family Getaway

This house gave us just what we needed - a quiet family getaway to recharge and reconnect. The kitchen is well-equipped if you are cooking all your meals at home like we did. There are also 2 grills - gas and charcoal. The hot tub felt great on the chilly days, and the fire pit was great for the evenings. Just a few miles away is Warren Dunes State Park - we bundled up, climbed the dunes, and walked along the beach next to the waves rolling in from Lake Michigan. Simply gorgeous! This made up for our cancelled Summer vacation. I highly recommend this house for a cozy, clean, and quiet place to spend some time with your family or friends!

Originally from Oak Park, but now in Valparaiso, we love this area and hope to land here in our later years. Taking on a fixer-upper in a pandemic was comically challenging at times but a welcome distraction from the news of the day. We planned every change with the hopes of providing the low-key, comfortable, and relaxing getaway. We hope you enjoy!!

Potential was the word for what we saw in this house. There was much to do as we entered a house filled with dated tile, vinyl floors and other 70's remnants. But the proximity to Warren Dunes, the opportunity for a real transformation, and the room inside and out to create a retreat (along with the sprawling picture-perfect maple in the backyard) sold us on the property.

The open vista of this 1+ acre property provides sunshine and space and offers country-living views from every room. With easy access to all the Backroad Bikeways, and large a garage for storage, it's a great spot for bike enthusiasts! The huge wood-burning fireplace, hot tub, and evergreens will provide the perfect backdrop for snow covered getaways as well.
