Just a few steps from the beautiful blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, this home is in an ideal location and enjoys a ton of amenities you're going to love. Inside, an open and comfortable living space faces a beautiful full kitchen loaded with all the appliances and gadgets you'll need to spread some culinary love. Use the blender to whirl together a slushy strawberry margarita then head out to the shared pool to soak up some sun. The kids will love playing board games over the lustrous dining table and the breakfast bar is the perfect place to catch up with old friends.
What's nearby: When you're not playing in the sand, take some time to do a little sightseeing around town. Get in some shopping at Ocean Palm Shopping Center, less than two miles away, or enjoy some great Italian food at The Meatball Cafe, a half-mile away. Play a terrific round of golf when you visit Long Island Village Golf Course, seven miles west. Stop into South Padre Island Watersports (walking distance) for dolphin and fishing tours, or to take some jet skis out onto the water!

PERFECT vacation home!
Our visit was nothing less than spectacular! Ms. Alice made sure that we were well taken care of. The home is beautiful with beautiful upgrades and you can’t beat the beach access right across the street! We had an amazing visit and will definitely be back! SPI Coronado Condo #201
We loved the condo was close to the beach and it was mostly clean. The main bathroom was nicely remodeled. But:
1) there were roaches in the kitchen concentrated in the dishwasher, we had to rewash every dish & pan we used.
2) the outside wall of the fridge was rusted.
3) there were blankets & pillows tossed in the closet, we didn't know if they were clean.
4) the second bathroom tub surround was rusted. And the toilet was tiny.
For the amount of money we paid to stay here, we expected much more.

That is was closed to the beach other then that nothing else .. the matters really old roches in the living room the sofa bed broken with Roaches the refrigerator so old and not clean I didn’t even want to out anything inside . The dryer doesn’t work it doesn’t dry the clothes internet was bad no wifi connection at all .. it was dirty

Very disappointed in this room. Many small roaches. Bad smell in the room, like a smoking room. K...
Nothing really, we were put on 2nd floor
and both myself and wife are handicapped. Stale
Smoke oder in this apartment. Door code would not work, had to call Jake to come open it. It took 2.5 hours to get into the room.cocl roaches all over the kitchen. Inside frame on front door was filthy. May expect this from a $50.00 hotel room but not for $200.00 per night condo. The only thing good was that David, Jake, and Sergio responded to phone calls and tried to help. I will never go with Vacasa after this trip off.

Please know that this is not the typical standard our guests can expect and when issues occur, we make every effort to resolve them quickly and efficiently. We do feel it is important to note that our team assisted promptly upon these concerns being reported and we regret that this experience detracted from your vacation with us. Our home has a strict no-smoking policy that we take very seriously; regretfully private owners in the surrounding buildings are not held to our house rules but our team does work with the condo association to provide the best possible stay for each of our guests. False advertisement
We stayed for 5 nights. House is very pretty, with some minor repairs needed, shower is loose in master and towel rack is falling off. One of the couches smells like urine. Beach access is steps away. My disappointment comes from customer service. We arrived our first night, tired from flying all day. Wanted to relax and watch some tv, wifi was down. Tried cable, it was also down. I called Vacasa right away, was told they would send someone the next day. The next few days, same thing, “we’ve informed our local team. Someone will be out soon”. No one ever came, no updates were provided. Yes, we were there for vacation, but after being out all day in the sun, we just wanted to relax and watch some TV, but that wasn’t possible. I will never get anything that Vacasa is associated with!

VRBO on line description of property/amenities is NOT accurate. Poorly managed & maintained property
1.) Self-check-in: Key in lockbox at the door ~July 6th through July 13th, 2022. 2.) 4:00 p.m. guaranteed check-in did not happen. The unit was not ready until 5:00 p.m. 3.) This property was advertised to sleep up to 8 guests. The two sofasleepers were broken and not useable. 4.) We had to purchase air mattresses to sleep 4 adults. Additional bed linens and towels had to be requested from the local VACASA management office to meet the 8 guest reservation. Local VACASA was not able to find another comparable unit that sleept 8 adults. They offered a full refund if we checked out that first day or a partial refund if we stayed. Unable to find different lodging ourselves and to avoid spoiling our entire 7-day vacation, we elected for the refund. 5.) During our stay, we experienced an infestation of roaches in the kitchen, two bathrooms and ocasionally in the two bedrooms. A pest control company came out twice to fumigate. The pest problem was corrected after our 3rd day. The dryer was not operable and we were told the belt had been ordered and would be replaced in two days. The dryer was never repaired and we had to go to a nearby laundrymat three times during our stay. 6.) Inadiquate storage space in the unit: The two bedroom closets were filled with outdated furnishing (JUNK): old TVs, old lamps, bedcoverings, broken and outdated unit decorations leaving no room for guests' storage. Several kithen drawers were screwed shut and kitchen pantry was locked with no room to store groceries. Parking for two vehicles was advertised but the assigned parking for this unit only accomodated two very small cars. Other units in the Coronado Condomenium complex - Unit#201 (5701 Gulf Boulevard, South Padre Island TX. 78597) managed by other agencies appeared not to have the issues we did with this particular local VACASA managed property. At one point three VACASA representatives came to the unit door stating that the OWNER had reported 25 people in the unit. At this point we concluded that it was VACASA's and the owner's way of attempting to evict the 'troublemakers' in Unit 201 for not following the house rules. This property is in a very good location. Only one minute to a beach access and steps to the beautiful beach. Unfortunately the owner does not keep the condo in good condition nor does the local VACASA management company do a professional job of supervising the cleaness and upkeep that is advertised on VRBO. We do not recommend this property.

Disappointed
We were a little disappointed in this condo. The couch beds were disgusting, one the mattress had a yellow stain and the other had a sheet left on it with blood stains. The extra blankets for them that were in the closet had used bandaids stuck to them. We had to go to the store and buy mattress protectors and new sheets. The dishwasher
didn’t work so we hand washed everything.
And had to hand wash all dishes and pots before we could use them because they weren’t clean. They dryer barely dried the clothes we had to run it 4 times for one load. I checked the lint trap and it obviously hadn’t been cleaned so I emptied it but it still didn’t help. We definitely will not stay in 201 again.

Mini getaway
Location was so amazing. Walking distance to the beach right across the street. Condo was nice and cool after a long day at the beach. A little hard to fit two cars in the designated parking area. Other than that it was perfect for our mini getaway.
