The condo was perfect

Our trip was a sister trip. The booking process was very easy and staff very friendly. The condo was perfect with the beach front view. We enjoyed our stay and more than likely stay at the same place.

We really liked the accommodations. The huge balcony and beachfront view were wonderful especially since my elderly mom has limited walking ability. The two things that overshadowed stay was that the adult hot tub was not working, plus one of the two elevators was not working. Also the security access to the Inverness was limited..the main garage was always open, plus the beach access gate was always open. Overall, we enjoyed our stay

The condo had a great view (7th floor) of the beach. The beach was easily accessible, clean, and never very crowded. The condo itself was great and furnished tastefully. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

Another good unit at Inverness

Comfy 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Excellent appliances in this unit! Great beachfront view. October is a great time to visit south Padre. No crowds, no lines, more relaxed pace.

Overall it was a great stay. The only issue I had was the pans weren’t entirely clean, other than that everything else was great. I wanted to extend my stay but it was already booked. I was at peace sitting on the balcony

Great place to stay with unbeatable view

Fantastic location, you are right on the beach. Spectacular sunrises from the unit balcony and sunsets from the back walkway at the door. Secure covered parking in the building. Unit was in good shape. Comfortable bedding, great kitchen with newer appliances. Friendly people at the front desk. The only thing we potentially missed is in-unit laundry as we staid for ~2 weeks. But there is a shared laundry in the building. Not a big deal, just something to keep in mind.

old poorly maintained property with a reasonable view of a public beach

VRBO misrepresented this property as having a king bed in one of the bedrooms. It did not. The bedroom barely had space for an old, worn, smelly queen bed. None of the beds/bedrooms offered anything resembling a comfortable sleep. This condo might make a great flop house for spring break? We couldn't drink it off our minds.

Vacation

The directions that was sent by text said the fob and paperwork was in the unit, but we were stopped by the person at the desk (Caddie?). She said that we had to sign in there instead. So an update on that information would be a great start. Bathrooms were small and the one in the master had hair in the tub when we arrived. One of the sliding doors didn't lock. Unit had plenty of room for 5 adults and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The views from the balcony were wonderful. Short elevator ride and walk to the beach.

Beach weekend

The condo itself was clean and spacious. However, the unit is on the 7th floor and about 75% of the time, both elevators did not work. We had to lug our beach items/coolers/luggage up and down 7 flights of stairs. It waisted a lot of our time and it was definitely NOT what we signed up for. It put a damper on the weekend. The Inverness needs to do a better job of maintaining the elevators so that this does NOT happen to others.

It is all about the water

It really is all about the fabulous water view and being on the 7th floor makes it that much better. We stayed here 60 days this time and had a wonderful time. The children came down for Christmas and we built sand castles on the beach. This time of year is so nice because the island is serene. Inverness is a nice property stratigically located between and within easy walking distance of the Wanna Wanna and Claytons if you are into that kind of thing. The garage parking is nice and they allowed us to park our 8' utility trailer out front saving us storage costs. The condo is comfortable, the queen size bed is firm. The pans could use upgrading and an extra set of sheets, blanket and vacuum cleaner would have come in handy. The management company was responsive when we needed them. We like this place and it will be our first choice on our next visit.

Excellent stay for our family of five. Unit: Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The kitchen was well equipped and had new appliances. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Small hotel starter bottles of shampoo/conditioner and bath towels are provided. Balcony has 6 chairs and a small table. The view from this unit can’t be beat! We would definitely stay here again! The only thing I would have liked or would like to see next time would be some basic beach equipment. Even just a bin where renters can leave items that they have purchased and wish to leave. There is a Walmart 7 miles away where we purchased chairs and boogie boards. We left them in the unit in the hopes that the next family can use them. Property: Parking in the ramp easy and plentiful. The pool area is small but nice. It is up a few floors so it has a wonderful beach view. The hot tub was warm, not hot. Property is very close to the beach and seemed to us like it was on the less busy end of the beach. There was good communication with the rental company and we would rent with them again.

STAY AWAY - GUNFIRE and thugs

Totally regret booking this place. The worst thing was two different men at two separate times fired handguns behind our unit. One gited off into the Gulf but the other fired at the ground and down the beach. I was the only one to report thos to rhe police so the SPI Rentals and the property mgmt though this was no big deal at all. I would never bring my family here. Also this unit had dirty floors and our feet turned black. The property is not nice. You access the beach thru the parking garage and it id all middy and gross and dark walling thur therr which is thr place the two shooters went after shooting on the beach. Al. I left after one night w my kids. We wentto a different location on the island at a resort w sexiroty ehich was way better. Thisbparticukar unit had uncomfortable beds. Ni think they are trying yo have a nice unit but it isntnthat great for thr momey.

Regarding the reported gunfire, I assure you that we take these matters very seriously, as our guests' safety is a top priority. This is why we immediately contacted local authorities after you notified us. Fortunately, no gunshots were confirmed by the police. We also spoke with the Inverness staff and other guests staying in the area at that time, and were not able to get a similar account of what you reported. With that being said, fireworks are a common recreational activity in our area, especially during the summer months, and we, as well as the police department, believe this is what you encountered. In terms of cleanliness, we take your feedback seriously and will address this with our housekeeping team to ensure higher standards are met in the future. Strongly recommend Inverness #705

Super!! I strongly recommend this condominium, very clean, nice view to the beach, equipment with everything that you can need it !! The personal very helpful and friendly. The blender wasn't work, but I just called and they send me another one, very quickly.(was night time), but, in the morning a nice employe knock the door and bring me a brand new blender, he explained that other one was from another unit and he went to brought from the store a new one for us. We will be back to this condominium.

Great Stay! Clean Condo, Friendly Staff!

We had a great stay at Inverness again this year. Everything was clean and there was a vacuum in the unit this year for the carpets! The new appliances were great. The staff was again very helpful and prompt in addressing our issues - mainly how to get the TV to work! Thank you Stephanie, Marina, Mary and Kathryn for everything!
