The house was perfect for us, very clean and great communication with the host prior to check in. We fished from the dock and were able to bring our boat. The pool was a terrific way to cool down and so relaxing. We had a fantastic time!

Nice home with beautiful views, and we really enjoyed fishing off the dock. The mosquitoes were pretty bad, but that’s obviously not the host’s fault.The biggest downside was the foundation issues. The bedroom doors wouldn’t fully close, and the bed in the primary bedroom was noticeably sloped because of the uneven floor. We actually had to sleep with our heads at the foot of the bed to be more comfortable.Overall, the home met our needs and we had a good stay, but it could benefit from some improvements to address the foundation-related issues.

We had such an amazing time in Jamaica Beach, TX… the house was the perfect size and the outside area was our favorite spot… from fishing, to watching the cool birds and sitting in the hot tub… it was so peaceful and relaxing! The entire area was lovely. We enjoyed the Strand and if you’re looking for a great spot to eat, Doc Holidays Roadhouse across from the Gulf was fantastic! Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Great location with house on canal. Loved this awesome rental with relaxing pool/hot tub/patio area and took advantage of kayaks. Owners were very responsive with communication and excellent to work with. Highly recommend place for visit to Galveston area.

My family and I had a great time at this property. The pool felt amazing, the fishing was superb, and the memories we made were priceless. The location is perfect and peaceful. The bed was incredibly comfortable and my family and I are absolutely planning to return.

The house was fantastic. The pool and hot tub were used everyday. My son was able to fish off the dock. The outdoor tv was a plus during March Madness. The location was close to a beach yet far enough away from the crowds. The hosts were very responsive to our needs. It was such a great stay!

We really liked the location of this property and overall enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient for everything we had planned, and we enjoyed being able to spend time at the house during the day.One thing we were disappointed with was that the photos in the listing appear to be AI-generated and are not an accurate representation of the property. Several areas in house needed repairs. We also had some issues with the heated spa. Initially, it was not heating properly, but the host did send someone out the following day to fix it, which we really appreciated. After that, we learned that having the spa heated works best if you have a set schedule. One day we messaged asking to have it turned on and did not receive a response for about three hours. By the time we heard back, we were already back at the house eating dinner.They ultimately scheduled the spa to begin heating around 5:00 each day, but because our plans were different every day, that unfortunately didn’t work very well for us. We were often at the house during the daytime and gone in the evenings, so we only ended up getting to use the heated spa once during our stay.Overall, we liked the location and appreciated that they were quick to send someone out when there was an issue. I would just recommend being aware of the listing photos and planning ahead with a specific schedule if having the heated spa is important to your stay.

Wonderful beachy fèel. Very clean. Beds super comfortable. Downstairs deck area with private pool is the best. We have stayed in many houses in Jamaica Beach and Sea Isle and this is by far our favorite!

Great Family Getaway

Lovely home & great location !! The pool is a plus when kids are there Fishing off back deck was so cool. We had a great time & would definitely rent again.

We had a great time. We spent 2 weeks at this house for a remote work stay. Everything was wonderful. The hosts were quick to answer all of our questions. The house and pool area was clean and fully stocked with everything that we needed for our stay. The WIFI and technology all worked perfectly for everything we needed for both work and entertainment. We are already planning to come back next year.

Wonderful vacation

Our stay was delightful! The pool is amazing, the owners are responsive, comfortable beds, adorable house, fantastic location on the bay with a short drive to the beach. The kayaks were also a fun treat.

The house was excellent plenty of room. Everything is listed. Had a wonderful time

Fishing was great off the dock grandson fished every day and caught fish every day granddaughter swim in the pool nonstop with great distance from the beach we had a wonderful time. We’ll come back.

Very quiet spot on the canal

We mainly chose this property for the heated pool. The downstairs deck area was very nice and the pool was great. Overall it was a great stay.

Great stay

We truly enjoyed our stay. This was a short spring break trip. We would have loved to spend more time. Very relaxing and fun to paddle around on the kayaks or just sit by the canal and read a book.
