The Neighborhood:

Secret Harbour is a relaxed coastal suburb between Rockingham and Mandurah, loved for its long sandy beach, dunes and laid-back, family-friendly feel. You’re close to foreshore parks, playgrounds, walking paths and surf, with plenty of space to breathe and enjoy the Indian Ocean lifestyle.



The suburb offers a handy shopping centre with major supermarkets, cafes, takeaway spots, bottle shops, medical services and everyday essentials, all just a short drive from the house. Families and golfers are drawn to Secret Harbour Golf Links, an 18-hole coastal course with a welcoming clubhouse, dining and casual drinks - the Secret Harbour Golf Course was designed by Graham Marsh and is rated as one of the top 25 public access courses in Australia.



Wider adventures are easy too: Mandurah’s marina, dolphin cruises and waterfront dining are around 18 km south, roughly a 20–25 minute drive, while Rockingham’s foreshore and Shoalwater Islands Marine Park sit to the north, ideal for day trips, snorkelling and coastal exploring.

Secret Harbour is also connected to the Rockingham foreshore by a cycle path for those adventurers who enjoy a coastal ride or run.

* Secret Harbour Beach and foreshore – About 1.5 km away, roughly 3–5 minutes by car or around 15–20 minutes on foot, for swimming, surfing, sandcastles and sunset walks.

* Secret Harbour Shopping Centre – About 2 km, around 5 minutes’ drive, with supermarkets, cafes, bottle shops, pharmacies, takeaway food, banks and everyday services.

* Secret Harbour Golf Links – Approximately 3 km, about 5–7 minutes’ drive, for coastal fairways, a relaxed clubhouse, meals and drinks.

* Mandurah Foreshore and Marina – Around 18 km south, roughly 20–25 minutes’ drive, with cafes, restaurants, dolphin cruises, boardwalks and waterfront activities.

* Rockingham Foreshore and Shoalwater Islands area – Approximately 20–25 km north, around 25–30 minutes’ drive, for calm swimming beaches, cafes and access to Penguin Island and marine wildlife tours.

Secret Harbour has a train station and bus service with services from Perth to Secret Harbour and all the way down to Mandurah. Relax in an airconditioned carriage and watch the scenery go by.

* Secret Harbour is car-friendly, with easy access to the Kwinana Freeway and coastal routes. Public transport links the suburb to Perth CBD, Mandurah and Perth Airport via train and bus connections, making it a practical base if you are flying in, commuting or visiting family across the southern suburbs.

* Perth Airport (domestic and international) – Approximately 65–70 km away, usually about 50–55 minutes by car in normal traffic. Allow around 1.5–2 hours if using a mix of train and bus connections.

* Perth CBD – Around 50–55 km north, typically 45–55 minutes by car, or train from Warnbro Station on the Mandurah Line into the city.

* Nearest train station (Warnbro Station, Mandurah Line) – About 12 km away, roughly 12–15 minutes’ drive from Secret Harbour; park-and-ride and local buses operate between Secret Harbour and the station.

* Mandurah Station – Approximately 18 km away, around 20–25 minutes by car, with direct trains to Perth CBD and connections to local buses.

* Local buses – Suburban bus routes service Secret Harbour and connect to train stations and nearby centres; stops are generally within a short walk or a few minutes’ drive from the house.

* Driving and parking – Free onsite parking for up to four cars in the driveway, plus local street parking where signed.
