Escape to this freshly renovated 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath cottage nestled directly on the shores of South Scott Lake in Bangor, Michigan. With 120 feet of private lake frontage, this cozy getaway offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and beach relaxation—all just 25 minutes from the vibrant beach town of South Haven.

Step inside and discover a welcoming, open-concept living space with stunning lake views from a wall of windows. The updated kitchen, dining area, and main living room flow together seamlessly, making it easy to gather and unwind. A screened-in porch just off the living area offers the perfect spot to sip coffee or enjoy a sunset cocktail while overlooking the water. The home comfortably sleeps 8 guests amongst three bedrooms and the secondary living room sofa sleeper. The primary suite offers a Queen bed, TV and private half bathroom. Another bedroom offers a Queen bed and workstation, while the third bedroom offers two Twin beds. The main bathroom has been thoughtfully updated with a spacious tiled walk-in shower.

Outside, enjoy everything lake life has to offer. The private dock is perfect for fishing, swimming, or launching the included kayaks and paddle boards (life jackets provided). A fire pit near the sandy lakefront adds a cozy way to end the evening under the stars.

Cottage was quiet and relaxing. Kayaks and waterboards were nice and necessary to get beyond all the water weeds.Water and ice in fridge don’t work.Grills were dirty and unusable. Pull out couch was filthy and needs attention. Lots of goose poo everywhere. Lots of pot smell outside. Very limited dishes in kitchen. Very expensive for the condition of the property and lack of usable amenities.

This was a very nice place to vacation. It appeared to be recently remodeled and was well-furnished with new appliances and a functional kitchen. Our kids used and really enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks on the property. It is a small, quiet lake, very restful and enjoyable. We would return.

Me and my friends had a wonderful stay, this lake house was very clean and had everything we needed! We loved the sun room! The neighbors were also very friendly and helpful when our air conditioning broke.

We loved the property with all of its amenities. Kitchen had all the necessary supplies. The washer and dryer were great. Kids loved the paddle boards and kayaks. We all enjoyed s'mores over the firepit.

We never had any contact with the host. It was all through the broker who were very nice to work with. The cottage certainly could have been cleaner. Furniture had rips and was attempted to be half sewn back together. Holes in the screens etc. There were I think 3 coffee cups. (for 8 people) Not a well equipped kitchen. The screen porch although nice, wasn't very clean, no handle on the screen door so with my arthritic hands made it difficult to close. The worse part was outside. A lot debris ie. cement blocks, scrap wood behind the house. The beach was un-swimmable! It is like a swamp! Over grown with weeds and lily pads. It smelled really bad like rotten vegation! My daughter went in once to try and came in with a suit full of silt. Our dog who loves water refused to swim in it. Wading wasn't possible. The yard had big mounds of dirt across it that only needed leveled out. I grew up on a lake, so I know it only needed a few yards of sand brought in. By accident we left a throw rug and a figurine that my daughter made. Got in contact and it took over two weeks to get a response back they said they didn't find The refrigerator started having a condensation buildup, and was filling cup with water. The repair man came in a short time and fixed it. There were no instructions to start the dishwasher . It would not start. Repair man came again, there was a switch on the wall! A simple note would have been nice. Also the fridge does NOT have water or ice. We should have been told!
