Large 5 bedroom home perfect for sharing with game parlor

Family-oriented home set on a wooded lot, 3 miles from downtown South Haven. One mile from Deerlick Creek beach or Pilgrim Haven beach!

The home is a fully furnished 5 bedroom, 3 full bathroom home with plenty of room for entertaining and enjoying the family. Huge living room ( 30' x 40') with 70 inch flat screen television. Game parlor with arcade, air hockey, ping pong, electronic darts, and more. While staying in our home you are only three miles from downtown South Haven - beaches, shopping, water-sports, restaurants, wineries and more! Head out to dinner at one of the local restaurants or stay home and prepare your own meals in our completely furnished kitchen. Kitchen has adequate space for multiple chefs and a large refrigerator to accommodate large groups for long stays.

Home has city water and plenty of capacity for HOT showers. We provide you with all your bed and bath linens. We do ask that you bring your own beach towels.

Located on historic ''Doctor's Row'' near South Haven, this 4,000 square foot home is an ideal location for a large family (sleeps up to 14) or multi-family/friends gathering. Home has a new whole house generator so even if inclement weather hits power loss will not ruin your vacation. Note that home is close to lake with seasonal views of Lake Michigan, but no beach access at property. Caretakers unit attached at North end of the home (separate entrance and parking) and may be occupied during your stay.

You can enjoy nature at its finest in Pilgrim Haven Park which is located less than a mile down the road. Pilgrim Haven Park is a 26 acre park with walking trails as well as 750 feet of prime Lake Michigan beach front. Van Buren State Park is close by as well! Then come home to the large spacious kitchen and prepare your prefect family dinner then head to the great room for a night of games or just talking.

Or if your preference is a night under the stars there is a large fire pit provided for your enjoyment as well. Have a fire and enjoy S'mores in the large private yard. We are a dog friendly home, up to two dogs welcome for an additional pet fee.

Saturday - Saturday rental during peak summer months. Three night minimum stay for all other times.

This was a nice winter getaway home for the holiday for our two families with teens. Very spacious with plenty of activities to keep us entertained during our stay. Well stocked and cared for. Our host was very responsive and welcoming.

We had a relaxing weekend! The beds were comfortable and we loved the great room that was able to accomodate all of us. There is a view of beautiful lake michigan from every window in the back of the house!

We had a great weekend celebrating my wife’s birthday. The house was more than enough space for our family. We enjoyed the game room and fire pit. It was a short drive to South Haven for shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

The property brings a lot to impress including a fully stocked kitchen with an array of spices to plenty of bed space for a giant friend group enjoying a weekend away. Monica was an exceptional host being extremely responsive and very helpful with local entertainment and food options. A very large entertainment room allowed for a fun stay.

Monica was a very attentive host and was very prompt if we had any questions. It was a lovely home and we had a great family reunion there. It is super close to Lake Michigan and there were a lot of things to do and some great restaurants in South Haven. I highly recommend staying at Sunset Hideway!

We really enjoyed the open living room and kitchen area. This house has plenty of space, a wonderful front porch, and great area for a camp fire. The place made our visit to the South Haven area that much better!!

Perfect House for a Large Group

11 of us stayed in the house for a week and we didn't have a single argument over space or privacy! The house is huge and has room for everyone to spread out. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful well kept property with plenty of space!

The house has plenty of space for everyone. The large family room was great for the whole family, and of course my kids loved the game room. Very clean and comfortable. Property owner was very nice and responsive to all of my questions. We will definitely stay there again!

Great weekend away for the girls

We had a wonderful get-away weekend for 5 moms. The home is beautiful and just steps away from the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed and we had more than enough room (we all had our own bedroom!) The owner was so friendly and let us know about all the cute shops and restaurants to check out in town. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back again.

Wonderful getaway!

Property was beautiful and spacious. The whole family enjoyed different aspects of the game room… and I loved relaxing on the front porch swing! Plenty of room. The family room area is huge! And the host is wonderful. Every question, both before and during the trip, was responded to quickly and helpfully. Great trip!!

Family yearly reunion

Great support from owner. Clean, spacious, lovely home, well-stocked with essentials. Not far to several beaches and lovely downtown area. Be aware there are several places in the home where residents need to step up or down between rooms. We had a great time.

I often have hard time feeling at home and concern for cleanliness when away. This place was clean and had all the amenities. So relaxing to be by the water and in a space that could accommodate both adults and teens well. My boys enjoyed the in house games and walk to the water. I would love to return to this peaceful getaway. Perfect for group of family or friends.

Yearly Family Vacation

This was our third year staying at this property. The house is big with plenty of room for our two families (14 adults total). Our family loves this house, perfect place to play bags, volleyball, and late night fires, the young adults love the bar area too. The location is close to the beaches, and the downtown area. House is clean and was stocked with everything we need (huge refrigerator) , plus the owner left us a couple of gifts that were really appreciated, See you next Year!

Great Stay in Michigan

This house has all that you need for a complete family vacation. Short walk (couple hundred yards) to Lake Michigan. 7 minutes drive to town and great beach -- South Beach. The house has a huge living/family room to congregate. Fabulous game room on the first floor. Everything you need to cook including a clean grill on the front porch. Highly recommended.

Second stay and will be back again!!

My second time staying at this property and first time in the summer and I cannot wait to stay again! Took my family and parents up for a wonderful beach vacation. The house has everything and more you would need on vacation. The house is enormous and so much room for multiple families. The game room was a hit with my daughter. It was so close to the town but at the same time a perfect secluded getaway after a long day at the beach and exploring the town. The host was fantastic and we are already looking at our calendar to get back again soon!

Lovely, spacious home, wonderful host!

Absolutely beautiful & spacious home. It was perfect for our family of 7 adults, ages 25-64, 4 children ages 2-8, & our dog. Monica was lovely to work with & quick to respond & communicate with. The game room was a huge hit, the neighborhood was great & we loved walking to the lake & taking in the magnificent view. Monica was also extremely helpful with recommendations for local beaches, trails, & even horseback riding. Everyone in our family enjoyed their stay. Highly recommend!

We chose this property due to it's close proximity to the town and beaches, but it offers a private environment to come back to at the end of the day. There is plenty of space to spread out, and the great room/bar area is perfect for socializing.
