Molly’s Creekside Cabin, on Lovers Lane (Sonoma Wine Tasting/Biking Getaway)

Recently remodeled, 1350 sq.ft., 3 queen size beds, 2 baths, dining room, large kitchen, with bar stools and fabulous living room, outdoor shower w hot and cold water, bike storage in garage.

The cabin was built in the 30’s for the warden of San Quintin. The warden would bring his prisoners on weekends to build his weekend retreat.

Upon entering, you step into a welcoming living room, with high ceiling, hand hewned beams, and a large stone fireplace. The furniture consists of leather sofa, leather chairs, custom table, art, and antiques. All 3 bedrooms are artfully decorated, with comfortable beds and beautiful furnishings.

The creekside garden area offers a comfortable sitting area, with fire pit, beautiful garden, majestic redwoods, and outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

Molly’s is centrally located. SFO 90 miles, OAK 90 miles, Santa Rosa airport 12 miles. There are over 200 wineries in the area. Places within a 12-14 mile radius, include Healdsburg, Occidental, Jenner, Pacific Ocean, Freestone, (where you find the famous Wildflower Bakery). Within 30-40 miles from Calistoga, St Helena, Yountville and Napa. Taking the back roads, the scenery is so well worth driving to all the above. And, of course, a Russian River beach just a short walk down the road.

It's a great place to escape the hectic pace of today's world.

*please note no pets!

*In spite of not having air conditioning, our cabin is surrounded by several redwoods which keeps the cabin cool even when it's 100 degrees out. Natural air-conditioning thanks to the redwoods.

Great house that was well stocked, clean and had super comfortable beds. Hosts were amazing with great communication and flexibility. Location was perfect close to town and next to the river. Would 100% stay here again!

Family time haven

Molly's Creekside Cabin was our haven for two days with our grown children, being coddled by our hosts' perfect taste and generosity expressed in the cozy yet ample rooms of the house, the high-quality, fully stocked kitchen, and creative touches everywhere. It was a delight to return to its comfort after daytime explorations along the Russian River and nearby coast.

Chic cabin stay in wine country

We loved staying at Lydia’s place when visiting wine country. Beautifully designed, spotless, conveniently located close to town and plenty of vineyards. We especially enjoyed the kitchen, outdoor fire pit, and river access across the street.

Beautiful cabin in the woods!

We loved our stay at the cabin! Great location to the beach and town. Loved exploring Armstrong Park nearby. Cabin was well appointed and immaculate. Beds are comfy too. Property owners were great with their communication and made the process a breeze. Highly recommend to others looking for not just a place to stay but a special place to make wonderful memories.

Amazing River Country Stay

Molly's Cabin was a perfect retreat in Guerneville. Superb location just a few minutes from the center of town yet nestled away surrounded by Redwoods to make you feel like you are away from it all. The property layout was ideal for our family of 3. High quality appliances throughout, solid Wifi and strong water pressure in all bathrooms. You can feel the Owners are meticulous with how they care for their home.

Creekside Cabin Delight!

My wife and I have stayed at some excellent locations over the years, but Molly's Creekside Cabin is by far the best property we've had the pleasure to experience! Lydia and David were excellent communicators throughout the entire process, the online description is spot on and the pride in ownership is displayed proudly throughout the home. Wonderful location to access the coast and wine country for a truly exceptional experience. Thanks Lydia and David for your hospitality, it was a privilege!

Second time and still lovely

Still a wonderful stay, as this was our second time at Molly’s cabin. I am still holding out hope that they will get a hot tub one day, is that the only thing I wish I had. Otherwise, the property is perfect, and the finishes/design are very luxe. Lydia and David are excellent communicators and it’s always a pleasure.

Cozy Cabin in Wine Country

My husband and I travelled with another couple to Molly's Creekside Cabin which turned out to be a great choice for our wine country getaway. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We used the kitchen, outdoor spaces, and the grill extensively. The Wi-Fi was solid. The cabin felt tucked away yet was in close proximity to a grocery store and other necessities. It was within walking distance of the river. The two bathrooms were very nice and clean, though they were small and not connected to the bedrooms. This was not an issue for us but I mention it for the benefit of others considering a stay in the cabin who may have different needs. The owner was responsive to questions prior to our trip and provided all of the information necessary to maximize our enjoyment of the property and surrounding area. We did not need to contact her during our stay as everything worked perfectly. Check-in and check-out were seamless.

*Perfect* Place to Stay in Gureneville!

This is *THE* best house in Guerneville! My friends and I are from Los Angeles and we've never been to Gureneville before - we were nervous about booking a home there not knowing much about where to say in the area. Molly's Cabin was the perfect choice. The location is walkable/bikeable to everything and so convenient. But best of all, the house is GORGEOUS. Honestly, we've stayed in fabulous places in Palm Springs, Provincetown and Fire Island and Molly's Cabin takes the cake. The pictures really don't do it justice - it's better than it looks. Fantastic fixtures/appliances, super comfortable beds, great furniture and little touches really suit both the history of the property and the experience offered by its location: deep quiet woods with wildlife, privacy and serenity. And, the fire pit outside is magical. Lydia and David are amazing hosts - we were celebrating a birthday during our week long stay, and they were so generous with us. Additionally, in the time of Covid and at the time, wildfires in the area, Lydia was so cooperative and really went out of her way to make us comfortable and safe, and to keep communicating with us whenever we had questions. Really first rate service and accommodations. Cannot say enough good things about our experience and cannot recommend this property highly enough. We are all looking forward to our next visit to Molly's Cabin.

Girls Trip

This was a special trip to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The hosts were nice to leave us some special treats and were so attentive to making sure we arrived safely. Staying amongst the redwoods at this cabin was breathtaking. We enjoyed the quiet evenings and ping pong in the basement. No cell service out here but the wifi and landline take care of that. Town is a short drive away and has several restaurants and a grocery store. We will absolutely be back!

Quality Cabin in the Redwoods

Myself and two of my adult children stayed at Molly's Creekside Cabin for a birthday getaway. The booking process was easy and all questions had quick responses. I would easily copy and paste the last few reviews here, as I can hardly come up with a new way to describe how wonderful the cabin is! The attention to detail and thoughtfulness of Lydia and David are above and beyond expectations! We enjoyed the outdoor seating area and grilling on the smoker. We used the available river tubes at nearby Johnson's Beach and floated in the water all day! It was so much fun! A BIG Thank You to Lydia for the special birthday surprise!! We all enjoyed it! I highly recommend Molly's Creekside Cabin and would happily stay here again!

My wee group of friends & family came to Guerneville for a short getaway recently & had a fantastic stay at Molly’s Cabin. Lydia & David were such sweet & considerate hosts. Not only did they leave us a lovely surprise of cheese & wine, they were so helpful answering our questions & checking on us to make sure we were all sorted out for our stay. Then there are the property & cabin, which are gorgeous & so well kept (it was so peaceful & quiet!). We enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit & making dinner in the cute kitchen. We all had our pick of pool floaties (rafts & tubes), which made our adventure down the Russian River completely stress-free. Our entire group agreed that staying at Molly’s Cabin was a perfect choice & we’d all happily stay again!

Beautiful Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The owners were so quick to answer any question prior to and during our stay. The home itself is very thoughtfully designed and had everything we needed for the weekend. The grounds and outdoor spaces were even more beautiful than the photos. The river was a short walk from the property. Would definitely stay here again.

Guerneville Solace

Fully renovated property and amazing attention to detail. The cabin itself is very comfortable, as well as, the garden/outdoor spaces are great for relaxing amongst the redwoods. The description and pictures are accurate, the property was clean and well appointed, and the hosts were always responsive and helpful. Molly’s Creekside Cabin offers quiet solitude and the opportunity to decompress, while still being close to all the Guerneville/Russian River options and activities. We’ve already recommended Molly’s to others and we look forward to a return visit.

Perfect cabin in the forest

Molly's Cabin is an absolute gem! It provided the perfect cozy winter getaway for our family, and we hope to have the opportunity to return. I have a background in interior design, so it can be difficult to impress me, but there was so much to appreciate in *every* detail. The cabin was also incredibly well-managed, probably the best I've ever experienced. Thoughtful on every level with so much attention to the little things. Kudos to these wonderful owners — they know what they are doing. (Note that the living room is spacious and the kitchen/dining area well-optimized for their size, but the bedrooms are tighter. Perfect for our needs but might not be as good a fit for those seeking more privacy from the group.)

Great cabin in the redwoods!

We spent thanksgiving break here at the property and loved it. The house is beautifully updates and decorated, super clean, well appointed with everything you need. The kitchen was top notch and we had everything we needed to cook for the week. My daughters slept better here than at home. The cabin is located 20 minutes away from the ocean and 20 minutes from Healdsburg where our family lives. So it was the perfect spot. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place. I think it’s better for a family or close friends as bathrooms are shared.

Beautiful cottage near Russian River

Surrounded by redwoods this beautiful cottage is even nicer than the pictures show. We stayed for a long weekend getaway and had a wonderful time. Lots of good restaurants and wineries nearby as well. We look forward to staying there again in the future!

Perfect Respite in Sonoma

Beautifully crafted cottage - wonderful architectural details amid tall trees and close to the Russian River! Host was amazing :-) Easy drive to Sonoma County vineyards. Great dining in town too. Be sure to try the Paul Mathew Pinot Noirs - awesome.

Great property… clean, nicely furnished and easy to find . Online pictures don’t do it justice this place is nicer in person and checked off all the boxes ! We met the owner she toured us around the property had Handed us the keys as said of you need anything just let me know ….very comfortable and warm We will be back sooner than later that’s for sure thanks for the great stay…

Absolutely fabulous

From the outdoor space, to the proximity to town, to the nicest driveway I have ever seen in Guerneville, Molly’s cabin was a joy to stay at. The interior of the home is fabulously designed and very functional, and Lydia was a wonderful host, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect week. 10 out of 10, and we can’t wait to stay here again!
