Boat Launch: Blue-Mystique Boat Rentals is 24 minutes away (12 miles)! Please note that there is no dock at this property. Guests are welcome to bring/rent kayaks or canoes, however, it is not advised to bring any boats that require a dock if you wish to keep them at the property.

Bugs: Normal bugs for Michigan, including mosquitos and ticks. Bug spray is recommended.

Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.

Fireplace: There is an electric fireplace at the property.

Fire-pit: There is a firepit down by the water.

Fishing: Bring your poles! Fishing can be done in nearby creeks. Chinook Salmon, Brook Trout, and Rainbow Trout are common in the area.

Fishing License: A license is required to fish in Michigan.

Privacy: There are neighbors, but they are hard to see.

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.

Space: This space is described as a cozy cottage. It is right on Lake Michigan.

Seniors: Seniors are welcome. There is a gradual slope from the home to the beach - roughly 150 ft.

Televisions: There is a 55" TV in the living room area.

Towels: All bath and kitchen towels will be provided during your stay, plus we have Beach towels!
