This charmingly renovated cottage on Lake Michigan's Big Bay de Noc includes 240 feet of private sandy beach!

This property is located next to the Sunset Beach House (VRBO #4319090) and can be rented concurrently.

Available to rent year-round, the cottage includes both air conditioning, and forced air heat and pellet stove.

Located about 40 miles east of Escanaba, with easy access to trails for snowmobiling and 4-wheeling.

Well-stocked kitchen with Keurig and outdoors we have a Weber gas grill.

Beautiful sunsets all year. Enjoy them in the summer sitting on the porch swing or by the fire pit on the beach.

Sleeps 5 comfortably.

Pet friendly so your furry friends can join you too!

Sunset Beach House was beyond our expectations. It is a beautiful setting and had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving stay. We enjoyed the fire pit on the beach and appreciated that it is pet friendly. The home was very clean. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. The host was very responsive. We hope to return in the future!

Very clean, well stocked with everything you need and more, well decorated, good response from owner when needed! Couldn't ask for a better view of the lake, and firepit with all the wood you need for it was an added plus!

This was such a lovely place to stay! Various serene, comfortable and exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was well stacked with pots, pans, dishes, and condiments. We would definitely stay here again! Greatly appreciate this experience.

Very clean, comfortable and beautiful. The owner was wonderful at communicating during our stay. We needed a new filter and she had one at the door the next day. We LOVED the beach and view, as did our dogs. We will be back and can’t wait to stay here again.

Great stay! The cottage is cozy and had everything we needed for our long weekend! Water was amazing - shallow with sandbars sprinkled in for hundreds of feet out! The kids (14, 12, 10 & 8) loved exploring, kayaking, going for a walk in the water and swimming. Our host, Heather was very responsive to any questions I had.Highly recommend - we will be back!

Lovely cabin. It had everything we needed and is centrally located to different sights and restaurants. Beautiful view too, very peaceful. Only negative for me is that the water is too shallow to swim, but this was easily resolved by going to Roger’s Beach, which I highly recommend and is not that far away. Host was very helpful with my questions and very prompt with responses.

The cabin was comfortable and cozy. The weather was typical for Michigan, variable, LOL! We had plenty of opportunities to explore the area and enjoy all that the cabin had to offer. We wish the conditions were more favorable to enjoy the outdoor features of the cabin. I guess we’ll just have to make a return trip!

Great place to stay as it was central to all we planned to see. Very beautiful scenery. If I was to change anything I believe I would add curtains at west windows. The setting sun shown through making it difficult to see. Definitely not a deal breaker. Looking forward to booking again with Vrbo.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage, however there was an ongoing problem with the septic system that delayed one of our day trips. I wish there was a phone number that you could call in case of an emergency.

Great view!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lake is beautiful. Loved the kayaks. The amenities were great, but the cottage still maintained that rustic charm. We were very happy we were able to bring our dog. Check in and out process was very easy. Owner was very responsive and informative. We will definitely stay again.

Great Place to Stay

A great place to stay for a fishing trip out of Big Bay De Noc. The house was very well maintained and clean. Heather is very flexible and responsive and a great host.

Fantastic Family Vacation!

This cottage is perfect for a family beach vacation. The beach and shoreline is gradual entry and very shallow - so it was ideal for young kids to explore. The cabin was clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything we needed. The sunsets we saw, nearly every night, were stunning. Overall, this property is excellent for anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation away from the crowds.

Awesome lakefront property, huge spacious cabin, amazing view of the lake, (lake is a giant wading pond - very shallow for about 50 yards - great for kids)Kitchen and grill were decent. AC was good.Only drawback was the bathroom and the water - no ventilation in bathroom, and there was a noticeable smell after taking a shower

Spring Break

This is our second time staying here and again we did not want to leave. For our family of four this place is perfect and Heather is more than gracious as a host. Even checking in with us knowing we needed to travel after the ice storm that had recently come through. We recommend this place and area to everyone! Looking forward to our next stay here!!

Beautiful winter getaway

Touring frozen waterfalls was an absolute treat! The private backyard was great for our dogs to play and the adults to relax. The cabin is only a short drive from so many beautiful parks, we couldn’t even fit everything into our short stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you Heather!

Great views on the lake, in the middle of all the action!

I booked this adventure to see and learn about different aspects of U.P. Michigan. I got what i asked for, its pretty well perfectly set between Mackinaw and Escanaba. Plenty of beautiful views and offroading. The cabin was warm, during some chilly days for a Kentuckian who left a state at 80 degrees!
