Bugs: Yes, since you are on Lake Michigan, there are increased mosquitoes, midges and mayflies (about 2 weeks at various times normally in May/June). Mayflies may be annoying, yet they are harmless. (They are a sign of good water quality.)

Cable: Not traditional cable but does have Smart TV's with streaming capabilities.

Cell Phone Service: Can be spotty so please use Wi-Fi calling while at property

Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.
