Welcome to our lake house in this "tranquil cove" on Lake Chatuge

Our house is located in a cove on the lake right off of the main water. You will be able to relax and unwind while enjoying the breathtaking views of the lake and the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains.

Whether you love fishing, boating, swimming, or just enjoying the tranquil atmosphere, this cove is the perfect spot to do it all. You can take a dip in the calm waters of the cove, fish for your dinner, or paddle around on a kayak.

Our lake house is fully equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. With cozy bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious living room, fire pit with smore bar, a covered patio, large deck with gas grill, everything is designed to make you feel right at home.

We invite you to come and experience the tranquility of this cove and the beauty of Lake Chatuge from our lake house. It's the perfect place to relax and recharge, and we can't wait to share it with you.

Our stay was fabulous, we love returning to this beautiful home on the lake. The homeowners are so attentive to every detail and have made considerable improvements over the 5 years we have been returning. We love everything about this quiet idyllic experience. Fully equipped, very clean, lots of things to do. Thank you Tommy and Jamie for another amazing stay, we hope to be back in the New Year.

Fabulous lake house! We are return renters and absolutely love this property. The location is amazing on a section of quiet, deep water. We had many hours of fun in the paddle boat and kayaks. The house has everything you need for a Great Lake vacation!

Couples Getaway turned Singles Retreat

My husband and i were supposed to go for 4 nights, but he got a wicked summer cold so I went by myself for a night. The home was immaculate. I felt very safe being there by myself. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, all cookware. I spent a lot of time on the top deck. The check in and check out process was sooo easy. I can't wait to go back with family or for a girls weekend.

Great property in a beautiful setting. The cove is so quiet and peaceful. We saw almost no one during the week. The dock is great and all of the toys, games, and amenities are in great shape. Lots of wildlife and very friendly deer! The Hiawasee area is great with a short drive to Bell Mountain which was stunning. Brasstown Bald is also a great visit. We enjoyed Crane Creek Winery and loved playing cornhole and singing karaoke at the Sandbar Restaurant. Marina Station is also solid. We ordered Papa's Pizza to Go through DoorDash and it was fantastic.. Just a great place to stay in a great area.. Highly recommend this VRBO!

Nice Stay on a quiet cove!

Overall a good stay. House was clean and as described / shown in the pictures. It’s located on one of the only no-wake coves on the lake, which is great for the kids. Driveway is steep and there isn’t great parking for a boat trailer, but we made it work. We would come again! Thanks!

Such a great property and phenomenal homeowners. The house was very clean and comfortable. Great time fishing off the pier and with the kids kayaking in the cove. You can’t beat the proximity to everything in Hiawassi plus it is a short ride from several great towns in the north Georgia mountains.

Relaxing!

We enjoyed our stay at Tranquil Cove. It was great to have a covered boat slip to keep our boat, and a huge dock to swim from. We loved having the paddle boat and two kayaks available for use. We especially appreciated the covered patio and the foosball table during the rainy moments. The house was clean and has everything you might need. Great memories were made here!

Peaceful Property

We had a wonderful time at this mountain lake property. The water view was perfect, and there was lots of fun at the covered boat house and the docks. We enjoyed kayaking, swimming, paddle boating, and fishing. We also enjoyed the fire pit. Inside the house there were plenty of seating options upstairs and down. The elevated deck with gas grill afforded us a beautiful lake view as we cooked and ate dinner.

Better Then the Photos

The property is exactly what we wanted. View of the mountains and the lake. Walk down the hill and you are swimming in the beautiful lake. It was perfect. The cove was not to busy and not to secluded. You could kayak out and get a gorgeous view. 10 minutes to down and a great street to walk the dog as well. It was perfect.

Perfect Spot to Relax and Enjoy the Lake

As repeat renters of this lake house, we loved our stay at this comfortable house full of amenities. The kayaks and pedal boat provided endless hours of entertainment. They are all down at the fabulous dock, which made using them so easy. We loved the addition of the extra bedroom downstairs. We were all very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We will be back !

10th Wedding Anniversary Getaway

We had a wonderful, stress free, obligation free, getaway for our anniversary. The property location was just beautiful. The house was fully stocked with everything one could want for a comfortable stay. Tommy checked on us to make sure we were content and had no needs to speak of. We made wonderful memories here. Lovely stay

The home was very clean and organized. The listing was exactly what it said it was. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you may need to cook with. Our sons slept downstairs and said bed was really comfy. We slept upstairs and thought the bed was a bit hard for our personal preference. Owners provided a topper which we put on the bed and it was fine. Cove was quite and serene. No complaints from us. We loved every minute of our time there. We would absolutely stay again.

Perfect Lake Retreat

We throughly enjoyed this amazing lake property. It had plenty of room for our family of four and the owners thought of everything we may need. They include such special touches such as a dog bowl waiting downstairs and a s’mores bar! The 2 kayaks provided hours of exploring in the peaceful cove. The dock and location on the lake are outstanding. We have stayed at many places on the lake and this experience was definitely the best! Tommy was very helpful. We would love to come back next year!

Hello my name is Tommy and my wife Jamie we have been vacationing using VRBO for many years and loved it so much we decided to become owners and bought this property for our retirement. We fell in love the Hiawassee area years ago and can't wait to move up there full time. Since we are not quite ready to retire, we decided to rent this out as a vacation rental.
We hope that you would come stay in our home and enjoy the "Lake Life" that this property has to offer.
