House was very clean and well appointed but the master bedroom was a bit small. Laundry was in the garage and not accessible from the house. Walking distance to downtown was very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Very good value.

Thank You for choosing to stay with us and sharing your feedback. As you could imagine when the cottage was built 100 years ago, there was neither running water or electricity. So to modernize the home, adding a bathroom to the master bedroom (an already tiny room) took more square footage from the room space. In addition, washer and dryer were not part of the original design. We decided to add these amenities for our guests and the garage was the only option.

Great Mt Dora location

Owner was very quick to respond, location is within walking distance of cute restaurants, quiet neighborhood, linens were nice, place was clean. If I had to say one thing that would’ve been a more convenient stay would be to have a coded door lock instead of having to keep up with keys. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts about your experience at the cottage. We are taking your advice and switching out the key locks for automated locks, we appreciate that feedback. Hopefully others will find that more convenient too. You’re welcome in our home any time.
