Fall art festival, Renningers Antique extravaganza, Light Up Mount Dora, paddle boat ride on the Dora Queen and so much more, manatees in Blue Springs, great bicycle trails. Comfortable 3 bed, 2 bath cottage home in the Historic District of Mt Dora Florida. Everything is within a few blocks any direction. Airport and attractions within an hour drive! This cottage has everything you need. Come enjoy festivals, fishing the Harris Chain of Lakes, walk to downtown for dinner or shopping, so many choices for antiquing, Art Festivals in the fall and spring, Farmers market on the weekends, theater, bike trails, boat rentals and nature hiking. There are numerous state parks to explore, great golfing, world class fishing, Lakeridge winery, beaches, wedding/event venues, antique extravaganzas.

Three night getaway

Highly recommend this cottage. Not only clean and quiet but also has a well equipped kitchen for your cooking needs. Four adults spent three nights here and it was comfortable . It is a cottage with a limited footprint and bedroom storage. There isn’t room for a large dresser but the hosts have provided other storage solutions that worked fine. The location is fantastic….less then four minutes via car to downtown Mount Dora or Reningers antique and flea market. You can’t go wrong staying here

Very nice place

The house was very clean, nice & everything we needed. We were close to downtown shopping & all the restaurants. The owners were very nice, they made sure are stay was comfortable & if we needed anything they were there to help. Would definitely recommend this place & would stay again. Thanks!

Florida Vacation

Home was clean and relatively close to downtown. We did drive everywhere. We cooked quite a bit and found adequate cookware. We did call our host about a grill and found that there wasn't one on site which would have been nice to have. We also could not find the washer and dryer and was told it was in the garage. There were no laundry supplies so we did need to purchase these items. We also ran out of K-cups and had to purchase those as well. Overall the property was satisfactory and the host got back to us quickly when we had questions.

Great Place & Location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was very clean, comfortable to hang out in, and well-stocked with all the essentials one might need for a few days getaway. Beds were comfortable, although new pillows were definitely needed on the two beds we used, so if possible, bring your own. The location was about .6 miles from the heart of everything, so once we parked, we never had to even move our car, which was excellent. The neighborhood itself was nice and quiet. Kimberly, the host, was very responsive when I had questions. I would 100% stay here again.

Cozy and clean

Stayed in the home from November 25th - December 1st. It was clean, cozy and well appointed. We enjoyed our week-long stay and enjoyed many walks into Mt. Dora for morning coffee!

Charming House/Great Location

This little bungalow is so charming. We found it fresh and clean with sunny yellow walls, cheerful decor, and all the little special items that one may not remember to pack. We loved the little Keurig coffee maker and basket of pods, the bottle of wine, the filter pitcher and the bag of ice in the freezer. Each room is pleasant and comfy, with little personal touches. The host is very responsive, friendly and helpful. It was the perfect spot to stay for our sister trip to the art festival in Mt. Dora. We hope we get to come again!

Cozy Cottage

This was our favorite cottage in the 10+ years we have been visiting Mt. Dora. The cottage was comfortably and tastefully furnished. To say that the beds provided a restful night’s sleep was an understatement. We were impressed with the thoughtfulness of the hosts in providing ‘extras’ such as a sewing kit, a tool kit, and a heating pad among other things! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. A cabinet in the family room was stocked with games and puzzles. We look forward to returning to the ‘Cozy Cottage’ which definitely lived up to the description.

Nice place for a family get away

Clean, quiet neighborhood, and a nice 15 min walk into downtown Mt Dora or a minute drive to public parking there. Will likely utilize again next year.

Great getaway

Beautiful House

The house was exactly as described. The pictures are accurate. The house is beautifully decorated, in a nice neighborhood and within walking distance of downtown. Unfortunately we were in Florida bury our Mother so we did not get to enjoy all the town of Mt Dora had to offer. I would definently stay at this cottage again.

Amazing little cottage.

We stayed in this place for a Highschool Bass tournament at it was perfect. The parking made it super simple for us to have our boat there. The amenities in the house were amazing as well. The beds were perfect after long days on the water. I will definitely be reaching out to stay again.

Fun place to stay!

We absolutely loved this cottage. It was very clean and homey. The neighborhood was quiet and very friendly. Mount Dora has the cutest downtown with wonderful shops and restaurants.

Great Mt Dora location

Owner was very quick to respond, location is within walking distance of cute restaurants, quiet neighborhood, linens were nice, place was clean. If I had to say one thing that would’ve been a more convenient stay would be to have a coded door lock instead of having to keep up with keys. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great House Rental!

This house was located close to downtown, was very well maintained. We had no problems within the house/ neighborhood. Plenty of room, decorated very nicely. Well stocked house! Good followup from the owners. We were there for the holiday lights and weren't disappointed. Mount Dora was beautiful, the shops and people were welcoming and so many places to choose from. Can't wait to go back to Greystone Cottage - thank you Kimberly!

Great getaway!

Greystone Cottage is a very nice place to stay. Not only is it nicely furnished and very clean, any little thing you might need is provided. The kitchen has modern appliances, and just about every small appliance and cooking utensil you might need. Kimberly provided a welcome bottle of wine and a personal note. I highly recommend this VRBO!

Yes, book it!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it does not disappoint! Perfect location, super clean, spacious, great outdoor sitting area out front perfect for morning coffee. Kimberly is great to work with and left a wonderful birthday card and small gift for my special day. We will definitely stay here again!

We LOVE the location!! Neighborhood is so nice and quiet. We have truly enjoyed getting to know the neighbors and taking walks, and learning all the history of the local area.

SUPER location to head into downtown Mount Dora for dining, shopping, walking to Gilbert Park for Sunset by the lighthouse or making a quick drive to Rennigers for antiquing and the Farmers Market. Very central and easy access to everything from fishing, boating, the theater, and the festivals.
