Basement Suite with Shared Pool

Vacation Rental in the basement suite of our principal residence. We are NOT affected by BC’s new vacation rental restrictions.

3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom basement suite w/ shared pool & trampoline & basketball stand. Our pool will be open May 15 - Sept 30. The pool isn’t heated, water temperature is subject to seasonal weather.

WARNING: We live on a busy street, there is alot of loud traffic and construction vehicles, you will hear traffic noises.

Please no partiers! This is a family friendly rental with children living in the upstairs suite. No pets/animals allowed in home or on the premises - no exceptions. You will be made to vacate if either of these two rules are broken.

Our suite sleeps 6 people comfortably, with 3 bedrooms and three queen beds. There are three TV’s in the suite, but NO CABLE television. Our TV’s have an Amazon firestick with access to our shared Netflix & Amazon Prime & Disney + & Sportsnet accounts for your use.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. We have a coffee maker and a Keurig for quick and easy drinks! We have supplied the kitchen with every cooking accessory you would ever need.

In one of the side yards… we have a inground 12 x 28 salt water pool. The pool is great for kids as the shallow end is 3 feet and the deep end is 5.5 feet. In the other fenced side yard, we have a spring free trampoline. Please note that all outdoor space is shared with us, the owners that live on site and any guests we are entertaining. We are located on a busy trafficked street, please be aware you will hear traffic while sitting on the outdoor patio, in the front and side yards. 9:00AM – 9:00PM pool and front yard patio hours as we would like to be respectful to all, including our neighbors. Please no partiers - this is a family friendly rental.

The half bathroom is in the utility room along with a washer, dryer, gas furnace, hot water tank.

We live above in the above suite. You will hear footsteps and squeaky floors above you. The suite has a sound and fire barrier between the floors, but you will hear the normal noises of a busy household and working family. We have a 15 year old girl and 11 year old boy that go to school Monday to Friday and we are out the door at 8:15 AM. We will be as quiet and respectful as possible, but please be aware you will hear us at any hour of the day. Because of this, we have priced this suite accordingly.

There is a Wyze camera outside overlooking the road/parking spot and a doorbell camera at the main door.

Amy and Brian were very welcoming hosts, They had thought of everything we needed for the suite. The pool was welcome everyday as we had almost ceaseless 28C weather. We enjoyed every minute! We hope to be back.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay here with our family. Amy and Brian were amazing and accommodating hosts. We loved the place was stocked with everything and loved all the games,the pool, and how it was our home away from home. We felt very welcome and safe. We would recommend this place!

We had a change of plans with how many of us were making the trip to Canada and they were so quick to respond to accommodate! Every concern or question I had was addressed and answered immediately. They were very kind and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the stay. I appreciated their knowledge of local activities and recommendations for restaurants as well. I’d highly recommend staying here. We plan to book here again in 2027!

Fabulous stay

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home! The 3 queen sized beds are full sized and not those ‘sneaky’ ones that claim they are a queen but are smaller. These beds are full sized and super comfortable with great pillows! It was also super quiet and we couldn’t hear the family above at all. The kitchen has everything that you could think of and the pool was fantastic! There are nice little areas in the different parts of the yard to sit in to watch the beautiful sunsets, eat or stargaze. We accidentally forgot something when we checked out and Amy was super accommodating to help us retrieve our missing item. We highly recommend this host and location!

Perfect Family Stay

This provided the perfect stay for our young family. The trampoline and pool were a big hit. The suite was beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need to enjoy Penticton. Amy and Brian were great hosts always available and offering to make sure you had everything you need for your stay. Our son still asks when he can go back to stay here.

Amy and Brian were wonderful and the property was exactly as described. Clean, modern and exactly as described. We really appreciated the hosts going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, including very thoughtful touches. We had an exceptional stay. Easy to park. Nice and cool out of the hot sun. Nice pool for chilling out in the evenings. Excellent and spacious living space, very modern with thoughtful touches. Second time around

We stayed here 2 years ago and came back for the last Ironman in Penticton. The whole family with teens ranging from 11 to 19 really enjoyed our stay. The house is perfect with lots of room for everyone. Despite being a bit unlucky with the temperature, we were able to enjoy the pool every single day. The communication with the owners is super easy make sure we have everything we need

A nice change from hotels

As a family of 6 we really appreciated the use of the driveway just steps from our private entrance to unload all our belongings. Amy and Brian were super friendly and very responsive with all messages. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Penticton, including beach toys, pool towels and a fully stocked kitchen. The kids enjoyed the spring free trampoline and pool. We would definitely stay here again and have already shared the listing wjth friends.

Amazing stay in family-friendly suite.

Really enjoyed our stay at the property. Amy and Brian were super communicators and very accommodating. The pool and trampoline were loved by the kids. The house was very well-stocked. There even were toys and books for kids. Beds were super comfortable. Suite was laid out in a way that allowed parental activities in the kitchen and living area to not wake the kids during naps and at night. Overall a very good place and would for sure go back!

Another great stay!

This was year two of staying at Any and Brian’s. Our kids look forward all year to swimming in the pool and the adults look forward to the easiest and most comfortable VRBO experience ever. Any and Brian have literally thought of everything! Beach toys and gear, a fully stocked kitchen, games and toys for the kids, etc. We appreciate the clean, open concept living, the beautiful pool that is perfect for our little ones (and adult supervisors), the AC, and the thoughtful touches and check ins from our hosts. Thanks for another great stay!!
