We had a great week on the beach at Mack’s Shack. Loved the area, easy access to shops and freeway, and long stretch of gorgeous beach to walk and swim. We cooked daily in the well stocked kitchen, enjoyed the ocean breezes and great views from the picture windows, swam in quiet ,clean pool and hot tub, and slept well in the breezy .comfy BR. Couldn’t ask for more ! Thanks Scott!

Great ocean view condo! We’ve stayed in several units at Del Mar Shores Terrace, and this is the nicest unit we’ve experienced. The complex itself is wonderfully located, with excellent beach access and secure parking close to the units. But this unit in particular is not only beautifully decorated, it is thoroughly and thoughtfully stocked with virtually anything you might need. Beach chairs and towels, dishes, glassware and appliances in the kitchen, bathroom supplies, even a safe and umbrella among other things. The attention to detail really makes this rental stand out. We hope to return regularly!

Wonderful location on the bluff with fantastic ocean view. The unit was well provisioned for our needs and very comfortable. The host provided good instructions and was very responsive to questions. Parking was convenient with only two small flights of stairs from parking to the unit. We would certainly stay again.

Second time to this area and it was amazing for a full week. Huge views of the ocean from the condo and an updated access systemTo and from the beach. Solana offers many places to eat and spend time but is also in close proximity to the busier areas aka Del Mar. great host and super clean place; very quiet!

A wonderful condo with a very close up fabulous view of the ocean! We found it to be very clean, comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen has everything you would need for any task. We enjoyed watching the surfers just off the deck as well as the sunsets. It is close to shopping and restaurants. We also appreciated the assigned covered parking space which was very close to the unit. Our host was great and very helpful and communicative. A 5 star property in our opinion. We will definitely return!

Beautiful Ocean View

This property is as advertised! Awesome ocean view which was a great way to start every morning with a cup of coffee on the patio! Many great options in the area for dining or spending time at the beach. Short distance from our parking spot to the condo as well! Communication with Scott was outstanding prior to and throughout our stay as he quickly responded to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend booking this property for a nice relaxing getaway!

Relaxation

Perfect location for spending all day relaxing on the beach. Definitely more of a locals beach, so not very busy on the week days. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. This condo is extremely comfortable and the views are incredible! We plan to stay here again next time we vacation in Southern Cali…

Amazing place and an Amazing Time

Mack’s shack was the perfect place for our little beach getaway. Communication with the host was easy, check in was smooth, and the location was great! Being right on the beach was a huge plus, and the vacation rental having beach towels, chairs and umbrella made going to the beach a breeze! Overall, this place is amazing and we will be booking again in the future!

My stay was absolutely amazing! The view is so stunning and the whole beach is truly beautiful. The hot tub and pool overlooking the ocean were great, too. Awesome Oceanview Condo!!!

Well-appointed condo in a laid-back, quiet complex. Parking was super convenient to unit. Oceanfront Pool and Spa. Stairs to beach was right next to property, which is not so common in this area. We've stayed at many VRBO ocean-front rentals from Leucadia to Del Mar and this was one of our favorites. Scott, the host, was also top-notch with his communication and efforts to make our stay the best possible. We stay at VRBO properties in various parts of world, so know how important a good host is. We look forward to returning!

We are retired snowbirds that feel very grateful we found this Vrbo. If offers a wonderful 24/7 view of the Pacific Ocean. Has comfortable furniture, has a well stocked kitchen. Cozy location at the end of the condo complex which meant plenty of privacy. Spacious bedroom. Lots of bedroom furniture, cedar closet for our things. Easy parking easy few steps to door if that's a concern. Already going back next winter!

Property great for 2 people. Spectacular view of the ocean Through floor to ceiling picture windows. Cozy balcony overlooks ocean allowing sites of surfers, swimmers, walkers, and beautiful sunsets. Terrific condo for 2 people. Everything you need is here. Floor to ceiling windows provide a breath-taking view of the ocean. We walked 10 miles everyday on the beach. You won't regret staying at this lovely unit.

Paradise over looking the Ocean

Fabulous condo. High quality renovation, comfortable, spacious for a 1 bedroom. Nice attention to details, thoughtfully supplied with anything you could possibly need. Location could not be better. Breathtaking views of the ocean, surfers and sunsets. Easy walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, bookstore, galleries. Host great to work with. Easy in and out. We will be back.

Love the view and watching sunsets with a glass of wine. The beach below is less crowded than most beaches and there is surf right out front. Literally miles to walk on the beach. The place itself is beautifully decorated and completely furnished. Very comfortable bed with Beautyrest pillows.

Beautiful view from balcony with comfy chairs--beach below provides long walks on the sand--walk on the beach to Fletcher Cove (half mile) and enjoy the restaurants and bars there.
