Sweet Life, Salty Sea is a charming 2 bedroom, 1 bath, family-friendly bungalow that provides the perfect location for enjoying the beach, fishing, dining and just having fun in the Port Aransas area.

Sweet Life, Salty Sea has a wonderful open floor plan with tall beach washed ceilings and recessed lighting. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook a delicious dinner. Savor your meals at the dining table with seating for four. Relax in the spacious living room while watching your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV with guest access to Amazon Prime and Disney+. Enjoy a game night with cards and board games, also available. For your convenience, the full-size washer and dryer are tucked neatly in the hall closet.

The beautiful tones of the master bedroom (BR1) are perfect for your restful night's sleep after a day on the beach in a plush Queen-size bed with a memory foam mattress, under bed storage and a wall mounted flat-screen TV. The bunk room (BR2) has a Twin over Twin bunk bed. Children's books, step stool and bean bag are available to make your stay with little ones as comfortable as possible. Both bedrooms share the full-size bathroom in the hall. The bath features a tub/shower and vanity.

Rinse off under the outdoor shower after a day at the beach. Watch the sunrise and sunset from the front balcony. Sweet Life, Salty Sea is a short half-mile drive or walk to the beach and offers a shared pool. Come relax and soak up the sun.

Cute and very clean. Was small for 2 couples with only 1 bathroom. The water bugs were a problem. I know they are present on the beach, but there were too many! Kept our grown kids from sleeping.

Fantastic little property with a perfect location. Everything was functioning incredibly well, so no complaints. Super happy with everything!Nice-to-have's (and this is me being super picky that would make the visit over the top amazing) would have been some laundry pods so I could have done laundry (it's included for the dishwasher, but why not the laundry room?), some basic kitchen additions including foil and sandwich bags (makes lunch at the beach that much easier), and a foam topper on the big bed (I know this is a stretch--but see something, say something). I developed some bad back pain from the bed, and could hardly walk by the time I got home (super fit 43 year old). And I did come across 3 MASSIVE roaches while on the property that scared the crap out of me.

Needs

We have stayed here before in a different house. Unit 4 and had no complaints. This time there are some issues. Wasn’t super clean, Not enough toilet paper or paper towels…..To get to the fridge was not user friendly at all with the table set up. Needs a much better trash can and bigger for the kitchen. The pull out couch was so hard to get out and put back because it is broken on one side. The water for the kitchen sink doesn’t get hot enough for cleaning. Also need to have cleaning supplies for guests to clean up the kitchen when done cooking. I would also suggest an outdoor dining table for outside to eat when cooking outside.

Perfect for a family of 4

Truly enjoyed the property. The porch underneath was nice to hang out under at night with the lights. Property was clean, neighborhood was safe, and super close to beach access. Will stay again!

Boys fishing trip

We enjoyed staying at this beach house. It was a little load being next to a busy intersection. At first didn’t find the trash bin but after talking to manager, they showed us where it was.

Great Location

Property was well located with great amenities. We did notice ants in the master bedroom but the property management company were super responsive and had pest control out within the hour, even on Labor Day weekend.

The property was small but used space efficiently. We had a family of 4 and would prefer more room but it worked for the price. Couch in living room was dirty when we got there which was a turn off. Also refrigerator was hot and the reason it was hot was not believed as stated on check in book. We were fine since we had all of our groceries in iced coolers. No instruction was left for how to dispose of inside trash to outside trash bin. I had to call property management and they were unsure but finally figured out there was a dumpster on site. These are small things but attention to detail helps renters return. Thank you for renting your property. Overall place was as expected.

Cozy bungalow close to beach

The management company was responsive and easy to work with. The home is small but in good condition. The only negative was the cleanliness of the property. In particular, the floors were very dirty and still had a fair amount of sand and dirt from previous guests. The broom in the closet was so full of hair and dust that we couldn’t use it to sweep up the floors ourselves. A little extra attention to the cleaning and this house would be perfect for a couple or small family beach vacation!

Perfect!

This place was fantastic! 10/10 recommend. My kids loved the bunk beds and pool and we were very pleased with the closeness to a beach access point as well as many other fun accommodations in Port A. The add on of rental beach gear was awesome as well and we utilized it daily. A hairdryer and an iron if you need one were literally the only things missing so plan accordingly on that front. We will absolutely be coming back!

Love the location of the property, a short walk or drive to the beach. My kids loved sleeping in bunk beds. Home was clean and as listed. We had a great stay!

Very nice house and location

It was nice to have an affordable house to ourselves. So many houses at the beach throw in some bunk beds and a pullout couch and say they sleep 12 and charge as if multiple families are staying. The house was perfect and affordable for our small family. It was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was stocked well. The pool was only 1 unit away and since we have an only child it was nice that other families were there so our kid had someone to play with.

Price perfect!

This was more than we expected for the price. Super cute and clean. Parking for car and golf cart. Pool was pleasant for teens to soak and swim. Tv in every room and they hooked up their xbox. Close to beach via golf cart and downtown for shopping and dining. Space for outdoor bbq and card game. Would highly recommend and stay there again.

Truly a cute little house great location to the beach!! I completely understand the nature of the beast but the amount of mold and mildew in the house was just too much. The lamp shades, pillows, sheets ect... Something you'd have to get used to I guess? Other than that, fantastic!!
