Location to beach and bay, great. Nearby restaurants within walking distance.Street noise, terrible. Very loud.Air conditioning, terrible. Unit not big enough to accommodate the living space. Unit faces West and heats up during the day. Impossible to cool off.No washcloths in bathroom, no beach towels, coffee pot broken, no beach chairs. All of which should have been provided and are basic amenities. Owners were responsive, but this should not be the norm.Refrigerator, dirty. Fingerprints all over outside and not wiped out inside.We’ve been staying in beach rentals for over 40 years. This was not a good experience.

College Graduation

We wanted to stay near Mission Beach, and this locale was perfect. The instructions for parking and entering the apartment were clear cut, and the unit was close to everything. Not much closet space, but we didn't need that for our short stayl.

Cozy apartment

Great mid century modern vibe in the heart of all the action. Loved the stereo and really enjoyed the apt. Parking was a challenge. If lucky enough to get a spot on the street ( very busy street) out front, had to move the car from 8-10 Tuesday and Friday for street sweeping. No laundry . Allowed in at exactly 3p and cleaners were there exactly at 10 on check out day.

Unlivable apartments

We could not get the temperature down below 85° in the Living Room, the bedroom with the air conditioning, could not get the temperature down below 80°. The apartment was dirty with mold around the bathtub. Paint peeling in the kitchen and bathroom. The pictures look nice online but pictures can be deceiving. In their description, they requested the tenants to not wear shoes for consideration for the people on the main floor, this was a second floor apartment, I don’t think that was appropriate for them to tell people to takeoff her shoes when the wood floors squeak and the bed squeaks very badly and loud every time you move or sit on the bed. This apartment is not livable unless you don’t mind a dirty apartment and won’t cool off below 85° even when the windows are open and outside was only 65 to 70° which doesn’t make sense. This apartment needs to be condemned. If not condemned they need to put some $ in it and an air conditioner in the Living Room, hire a painter to scrape all the loose paint and scrape out the mold around the bathtub. These people who rent this apartment should be ashamed of themselves, they probably never been in this apartment because they’re just in it for the money. They seem be like slumlord to me. It’s unfortunate that they miss lead potential renters over the Internet, you don’t know what you really getting until you get there to see what it looks like, the management is not willing to cooperate. It’s a total shame and messed up our trip.

Guest satisfaction is very important to us, which is why we ask guests to communicate with us right away if the property is not to their satisfaction so that we can make things right. When Mary checked in we asked her to let us know right away if the place meets her expectations. She responded that everything was fine, to which our response was "Please let us know if there is anything you need or if we can assist you in any way!" We did not hear from her again until her husband David phoned on their third day of their 3 night stay notifying us that had some complaints and said that the AC did not properly cool the place. He was demanding a full refund. We offered to bring another AC for the living room and to send the cleaners back but he said it was too late and that they had already changed their plane ticket to return home later that evening. Given our checkout time was 10 am the next morning, they essentially completed their stay. We could have done a variety of things to make them more comfortable from trying to fix the problems to moving them to a different unit for their last night but David wouldn’t allow us to do so. As a side note, we have since added a second window AC to the living room and have not received any further complaints from guests about the temps not cooling down. The bathroom paint has been touched up and the tub has been recaulked.

This was an amazing experience for our family and Janet is a joy to work with. The home is in a great location and we enjoyed our daily beach time and just hanging out at the home together. Would absolutely recommend.
